As I write this, my throat is swollen with sadness. Our little doggy, who is 15 years old, now is too weakened to be able to move ok and is losing weight rapidly. Not in pain yet but we will not let that happen. So with a very heavy heart after a year of sadness and lots of fear, we are saying goodbye and spoiling her with extra goodies. Still wagging her tail, oblivious. We all know it comes one day but still, it hurts. Sorry to get you down with a sad story but at the moment it really helps me to share it with someone, thank you for that. So I'm seeking some extra comfort with my plants, to get my mind off things and be amazed by how fast these plants go. What power these little plants have. I did have some problems, ridged leaves on 3 of 4 plants, leaving me scratching my head... The bigger pot didn't have the ridging. So underwatering, too much nitrogen, too warm... I don't have clue but after some clear water, all seemed to return to normal. Also put the Sp-3000 a bit higher in the tent, to control temps. After that again mega growth, we are just at week 4, which is amazing to me. Cant wait to see the endresults. See you next week my friends!

Apparently the revegetation process has stabilized, which made me very happy. Now take care of this amazing plant to possibly reap new fruits in May / June. OK, we’re getting pretty damn close. I definitely toasted a couple of the taller spears with a new lightbulb. The damage seems to be to the fan leaves and some of the sugar leaves, the buds seem to be spared of any damage. I reduce the nutrients to zero to flush yesterday. I’m hoping they’ll be ready to harvest in a couple three days. The tricombs are still Mostly white and clear, very little if any brown yet. I figure I’ll wack them at 50-50 brown Here is a question for some more experienced growers that might read this. I have read that when buds are light stressed they will make a bud on a bud. I’ll put a couple pictures of this here. Is this what they are talking about? Peace,Take care of each other, and give me the patience to last another week.

8/2: Everybody is potted up in a 3 gallon pot now. I sprayed them all with Boom Boom Spray one day, and foliar fed with kelp and Superthive all week. They got their first real feeding with TPS One and seemed to like it. I also gave them a little molasses.

Looks like I fell into the classic coco trap — when it’s still too early to water to runoff. You either overwater, or the pH in the root zone keeps rising every day. The result is obvious: #4 and #6 got calcium and phosphorus lockout because I didn’t water to runoff right after transplant. They’re still recovering. #3, on the other hand, is doing great — you can tell by how perky she looks. She was transplanted later, so she got proper runoff earlier than the others. It literally took just 2–3 days without runoff to cause issues. Overall, these are just early-stage problems that won’t matter later. We’ll probably remove those big leaves anyway since they’ll be in the shade (or maybe not, if they’re still functional when side lighting kicks in — then the marks might stay 😄). Plants are already adapting to the watering routine, and root zone pH should stabilize soon. Feed (input): EC 1.5 / pH 5.4 (today tested 4.9 just for fun) Runoff: EC 1.1–1.2 / pH 6.4–6.7 Experimenting with VPD — was around 1.3–1.35 most of the week, now pushed to 1.5. Growth rate is decent, leaf color recovered to bright green, no stunting. Interesting note — plant #6 has a very unusual branch structure, never seen side branches attach like this. Doesn’t want to grow upward at all 😄

This girl is looking Amazing! I am so excited to see what this plant produces. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do with this plant as far as should I defoliate or "lollipop" it? I've never gone this far before in a grow of photoperiod!?

Daily watering is done either 4 hours after the plant wakes up or 4 hours before it goes to sleep. My photoperiod is from 6 a.m. until midnight, which means I water either at 10 a.m. or 8 p.m. When it gets bigger, I plan to water at both times to ensure good root oxygenation. Even when it's small, I use a raw ppm (parts per million) reading. From the beginning, I calibrate it to a minimum of 800 ppm and increase it according to the plant's growth. I maintain the pH at 5.8 throughout the entire cycle. Watering is done with 200ml of solution, and the runoff is checked daily. If the ppm rises too much, I perform a flush. This week, the soil's ppm was already reaching almost 700, so I did a flush with 500ml of pure water and calibrated pH. Soon, I will begin pruning, considering Topping, LST, and Lollipoping. OBS: I have been adding H2O2 to the waterings to prevent gnats and unwanted pests.

A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This is the other girl consuming a lot. But with the auto watering system she's holding her own. If you don't see it live every day you just can't believe how extreme it grows in Aerophonic :-). That's why I'm already in bloom again. I hope it grows so perfectly into the net and the height like the last time it was with the Kosher Tangie Kush 🙏🏻. That I already had the phenotype of Runtz a few times and know the strong strech, I suspect that it will grow extremely full this time 😅. She will continue to receive the veggie fertilizer for a few more days. As soon as the first blossoms are there, you switch to flower fertilizer. Next week I'll turn the watering timer down because it has more than enough roots. You can see that in the fact that roots are already moving through the drain into the tank 😂👍. This lady has been Transplanted after 34 days since planted on may 5th, she's gonna be grown with FLO Living soil blend only, sorry for not having more pictures of this week but I had too many things to do and couldn't find time, stay tuned everybody!!
