Grow report week 8: The legalization and the Tent-X System Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the eighth week and have continued to grow. But they have also experienced some exciting news, which I will tell you. The legalization This week something incredible happened: The Bundestag passed the partial legalization of cannabis. From April 1, cannabis consumption for adults is to become legal in Germany. This means that I and my brothers and sisters no longer have to hide and can freely pursue our hobby. I thank everyone who helped us achieve this goal. We will not stop until you also get your right. Legalize it everywhere! I am very happy about this decision and hope that it will contribute to a better health protection, more education and prevention and a stronger child and youth protection. I am curious how the new drug policy will affect the grow scene. The Tent-X system This week I also got a new system for my room: The Tent-X system from TrolMaster. The Tent-X system is a state-of-the-art, professional and modular environmental and irrigation control system designed for single-zone grow tents. It allows me to effectively control the environmental parameters and irrigation schedule of my tent with a single control system. I think the system is outstanding! It offers me many settings and functions to automate my system according to my wishes. For example, I can change the lamp height or power based on PPFD values, read the substrate moisture and EC value, simulate the sunrise or adjust the light spectrum. The system is also very easy and intuitive to use. I can control it via my smartphone and access my data at any time. I am happy to have this helper for the upcoming flowering weeks. I am sure that he will help me to a better yield. I am also very grateful to TrolMaster for providing me with this system. The back four will all reach their net next week. I defoliated them heavily in the lower area two days ago, which they tolerated well. They look really healthy to me. Taking pictures is very complicated right now, you hardly know where one plant starts and the other ends. But that will get better in the next few weeks. I am happy that it is now going into the last vegetative week and we will reach the flowering on next Sunday with a light cycle on 12/12. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the eighth week. My plants have developed well and are ready for the flowering phase. Today is week 5 now since dropped in water to be honest I think these are growing slow compared to other peoples. I changed a couple of things like upped wattage of metal halide from 250 to 400 and started giving full strength nute from half strength which I should of give 3 quarter strength instead of full because I can see a slight tip burn so will back of a little. Water every day till run off. At some point this week I will top for the first time to get the main line thing up and going. See you next week peace.

Strong smell small plant

Welcome to week 5 of flower. Trichome production and the density of the buds is really starting to accelerate. My dehumidifier is not stable, so VPD ranges from 1.2-1.4. I lightly defoliated 31/10 and last watering was 6/11 👽👉7/11 The day after watering and the day my timer messed up my 12/12 schedule. But hope it brings no problems. I defoliated lightly and only removed most under the SCROG line. Even a couple of underdevoloped branches that stretched below SCROG-net got cut. 👽👉8/11 Their smell is starting to get more extreme. 👽👉9/11 I removed a bit of the bottom foliage and cleaned up the dead leaves. It has been really tight around the SCROG net, so it was highly needed for airflow and humidity 👽👉10/11 Waterday* ml/L change from last watering - to this. Hunt for Phenotypes

Day 60 today! It says from harvest to seedling 67 days, but it’s lookin pretty good? The top especially, The bottom seems to be more clear I’ll move a light around and try to get it facing that way. She’s had plain water for the past week. She smells so good! I’m super excited to taste it and see an end weight! 🤩 💨

Almost time for, lights, camera, action ! She will get a decent defoliation to show those beautiful flowers and then she is ready to be documented, what an exciting and stressful grow for me, not because of the plants but because of the ridiculous temperatures we reached this summer 🌞

This young lady does not end up amazing me. Although she is perhaps the last born or almost she is the highest, the healthiest and perhaps the most beautiful of the Grow. Mark this strain The boys of Zamnesia do not joke at all and the Blueberry that seems to have to pass like a classic almost muted, breaking. I don't know if the Grow is enough. Top.

Día 02. Tuve que empezar la floración. Las raices estaban empezando a salir por el caño de descarga. Además estoy notando que al quedar mucha agua atrapada entre las raíces, la toman más rápido y los 20 litros que puse no sé si van a alcanzar. Ya había tenido este problema hace bastante y me había olvidado. Pero igual no me preocupa tanto. Sé que puedo manejarlo tranquilo. Así que al final, la semana anterior fueron sólo 3 días. Ahora voy a ir planificando bien, dado que la diferencia de altura en una de las Polaris, me va a obligar a ir llevando un LST riguroso. También estoy empezando a pensar en formas para evitar las tapadas de raíces. Creo que algo se me va a ocurrir para implementar en algún momento. Voy a hacer un corte de hojas muy grande cuando haya terminado el estiramiento de pre flora. Porque quiero probar cuanto afecta a una rama el quitarle la hoja principal. Algunas he cortado y otras cuantas no. Apliqué Feeding Enhancer de Greenhouse, en forma foliar la noche que pasé a floración. Voy a hacer una nueva aplicación en una semana seguramente. Tuve que bajar la frecuencia de reigo de 30/30 a 15/45 por hora, porque creo que eso hizo que se hagan tan grandes rápido. Igual es un dato que voy a tomar en cuenta para el futuro. Día 04 Me preocupa la velocidad a la que se toman la solución nutritiva. Les puse 20 litros hace 4 días y quedan solamente 12 litros. A este ritmo voy a tener que empezar a poner mucho más de los esperado. Aunque igual, creo que cuando haga un trim fuerte de hojas, ahí van a empezar a regular más el consumo de agua. Además al haber crecido tanto las raíces, es mayor la cantidad de solución que queda estancada en las raíces y es consumida. Así que eso también será un tema a mejorar. Me gusta que las plantas estén así, pero siento que no las voy a poder controlar.

I did not grow these two plants to their potential. Hit with high temps as seedlings and fungus gnats in flower, I decided to harvest them probably 7-9 days too early. Nonetheless, after 4-5 days drying, they've been trimmed and jarred and tested. Smoke is very complex and honestly have never smelled such a strong incense like smoke rolling off the pipe before. Very clear and relaxing so far. Delicious grapey spiced beer flavor. Very white ash. So happy to have a larger lady of this being finished properly right now.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht.
