Day 44- I need to back off on the water nutes, I am forgetting the soil is strong enough. I will flush with plain water next time. Maybe I should do a plain water foliar feed? I’m still learning. But I think those B vitamins are keeping their metabolism high! Then I feel the need to spoon feed. After giving them much needed calcium, I start adding other things. Those Epsom Salts plus the amino acids on a plant with high metabolism receiving more B1, all while having lots of amended neem cake in the media, is going to be processing a sh*t load of nitrogen! Back to plain water. Another idea, maybe I will flush a little bit, and feed just CalMag. Day 48 I realized I haven’t gotten any pictures in for this week! Not that big of a mistake compared to the one I just corrected! The video is taken when they are back inside for the night as it a cold windy night, and they could use more light. I am not talking because I am sick and can’t talk to well. But it’s just quickly showing how they look after the whole ordeal I am about to mention. So I woke up this morning, and noticed all of the plants were showing subtle signs of a deficiency. Different deficiencies too! Some are going on the calcium deficiency, others potassium, some manganese even maybe a few others to be honest. Sometimes I could only see signs in the old leaves, and other times I would see signs in new leaves. Either way “most” of them were looking pretty good. But something about all this variability with different plants was oddly unsettling to me. I figured I had better stick the soil pH meter in there and make sure it’s not a pH issue. And to my horror, pH of barely 4.5!! More like 4.20! But honestly it was that low!!!! A miracle these plants haven’t locked out yet! But how did this happen? Yes it is all coming together for me. Every water I have been giving feed-water. I have been watering with a little runoff, but not enough runoff to manage what I was putting in! I’ve been “feed-watering” a lot more than usual because the pots are tiny and it’s super hot and mega dry during the days. Like 75-80 degrees (F) and 10-25% relative humidity lately. So no wonder they are drying out fast. All those salts left behind from last feed. So they built up, apparently pretty high. I didn’t think I was feeding too much, especially because I would get a descent amount to drain out the bottoms every time. Either way, I fed too heavy and flushed too little! So I brought out the foxfarm SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!! Did a quick flush, flushed with plain water to get the sledgehammer out, then a recheck on the soil pH meter. Comes out 6.8! So I gave feed-water at ph of 7 afterwords. They were dry enough before all of this, I conveniently avoided damping issues. Now they will dry out and receive plain pH 7 RO water on next watering. I still have lots of doubt as if I have any clue what I am doing! But so far so good. I try to support the microbes as much as possible, i definitely could use their support. And it might be because of the microbes, CalMag and fulvic acid, that has prevented lockout. But yeah the fact the pH in the soil was corrected with a flush, gives me a peace of mind. The other three from “The Hondo Titan” diary had high levels of sulfur to lime, the flush did not fix, so I repotted them in new soil with pH 7. Also those hydroton expanded clay pebbles become rich with acidic salts, because the water leaves and all the nutes and minerals are captured and stored with the pebbles. Good in small levels. But if the pot dries out every day, those pebbles will eventually make the pH meter smack the end suggesting less than pH of 3.5!!!!!!!! But no pebbles were used on these girls thankfully!!

Around 30 days or close to it. Coming along nice. Turned down the light a bit in attempt to cool the tent and induce a taller stretch. 🤷

Pretty good week overall! Day 80, I am posting a little early to coincide with my expected harvest in 2 weeks, and because today I officially started the flush! At this point I am anticipating the harvest between 5 and 14 days from now, depending on how quickly the buds finish ripening up. I am guessing the taller plant has about 75% red hairs and over 50% cloudy trichomes at this point. The shorter plant is slightly behind with maybe 40% of her hairs being red and maybe a third of the trichomes are cloudy. They have made a lot of progress over the past week, so🤞 they will continue that trend. Did a pretty decent defoliation on the shorter plant, due to some fan leaves that were blocking light from the lower canopy turning yellow. I have decided to try molasses with my flush water, hopefully that will improve my final product. One final note is the smell.... it is considerably stronger this time than either of my first 2 grows. Typically I do not bother with a carbon filter, but the smell was so strong it leaked in from my garage and permeated my entire house! So I added filter (and a very strong candle) and it seems to have helped the problem. Super excited for the harvest, will definitely keep everyone posted!

DAY 45. Flush has already begun. Checked trichomes, mostly milky/cloudy and odd Amber here and there. One of the girls seems to be maturing quicker than the rest? -any thoughts on that.. was looking to take her to day 60. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks

brilliant week of growth from the peanut butter cookies. Been a little bit of a struggle for space but will HST once all autoflowers are out. Both the auto cinderella jack and auto critical cheese are developing buds nicely

Veg Week 3 Day 21 to 27 - 4/17 to 4/23 A lot more to talk about this week. It's topping and transfer week. I started the week off (day 21exactly) by making sure I had at least 5 to 6 nodes of growth and topped P1 down to the 4th node and P2 down to the 2nd node as a test. (typically I top to the 3rd) I also removed all other node branches and fan leaves and usual. I left a large stump in my tops so the nodes can use it to grow around and help support the larger weight of a mature plant. I gave a couple of days of recovery while I hand spread the nodes daily to train the new waterways through the nodes. I changed my schedule and watered a day after and then transferred the plants into their forever pots/top watered in Feed this week was .5gal transfer and top feed at 100ppm total before add-ins. I used 100ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.2 Feed plan next week will be a final top feed of .5gallon and then turn the reservoir on. Start of week 7 I was worried Quick one was going to stay small but it definitely stretched (41cm tall) it seems to be flowering slower than the other plants but grew so much taller! not a noticable smell off it yet, i think its only beginning to put its energy into buds :) really excited to harvest! added a couple of photos of the chillis also, they are enjoying the light :) Day 51 - 12/11/19 Quick one is starting to grow sugar leaves in between the pistils! roll on heavy flowering :) will add pictures soon.

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). It was poured this week 1 time with 0.2 l because the roots are from clones should only spread in the substrate. (For nutrients see table above) The fact that the lady gets a very long time in the veggie phase I started topping for the first time today after taking the pictures. in the coming weeks LST and will certainly be used topping a few times. Day 57 This should be the last week in veg. It might be a partial week...I'll make the call in a few days. I'm excited to see these babes flower!!! Day 58: Last day of VEG! I set the timer to 12/12 and lower the lights to 18". These babes are ready to switch, based on my past experience. I hope they don't shoot too much in the next couple of weeks! Flower time is here at last! Day 59: Flower day 1! Fed transistion week 1 nutes today. Day 61: The plants are stretching nicely and I expect to run out of room on the screen at the outer edges. Day 63: I'm really surprised how fast Shiskaberry caught up to her tentmate. She's got many bud sites, even after losing one of the mains. It might actually be a good thing I'm down a few tops, since the canopy is getting VERY full!
