Almost there ..... 4 weeks to go... a little strange because I switched my super loud noisy ass metal 4 inch inline fan for a plastic 4 inch VORTEX brand inline fan and its great for being stealth but I noticed I developed a rust spore problem which is an air circulation issue I have my ph perfect and nutes dialed in I even started cleaning my roots with cannazyme its a dead roots nutrient that enhances the breakdown of old roots and keeps things regular. Now I am just dealing with strange orange colored rusty leaves but the bud development is great and stickier and stinkier than ever .... 4 weeks left for these baby's to swell up and puff out looking forward to this dry chop and trim then the final cure.....

Day 92. Few more days for last Alaskan Diesel , amazing strain ! While chopping first two I ripped small bud and yesterday I tried it - piney, eucalyptus sweet diesel flavour ! Loved it ! Green Cracks getting frosty and calaxies start to form and fattening up ! So I think 2-3 weeks from now. Northern Lights are way behind, but smallest plant becomes a frosty tower ! Day 93. Last Alaskan Diesel is down. All info on strain harvest week . Rest keep going, think two weeks is max for Green Cracks. Happy Growing !!!

Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. mid week 8 | insane pheno | pungeont smell | incredible looks | my favourite looking plant so far

'Not all those who wander are lost' What started out as an experiment, turned out to be an adventure of epic proportions. What hangs here behind me smells like the weed I knew in the 80's, skunky and full. But look at those buds. DAAAAANG.... These are the biggest buds Ive ever grown, I didn't know what darkness precisely did before.... now I know... My god after a few days they oooze cristal liquid from all its holes. They are greasy and sticky, full of weight and I think well hit the 300 grams per plant with this one, taking our total to 600 grams what would be 2 grams per watt used. If that's so, Ill never use another light again! Thank you Mars Hydro for letting us try it. And by god so should anyone wanting to up their growing game. Start by saying 2 are in flush now! (Black cream and sunset sherbet) I used flawless finish on them and then water from then on! Started to see some fades within a few days with the black cream and sunset sherbet leaves have lightened up, just awaiting some fades! And I’m watching under a 50x loupe to aim for the perfect harvest! The aromas are crazy in there got all sorts going on until I touch one and identify it’s aromas but as expected everything is going to be full of terps and resin! On the end road now! Flush next feeds for the purple punch and forbidden runtz! I’ve added a picture of the royal creamatic I took out as it’s just jumped into flower! Glad I took her out now too as she has some coverage and I wouldn’t want to lose no light at this stage! End result with dynomyco! IS… use it highly recommend. I’m using it in all my grows from now on! It’s a great additive providing your plants with a lot more beneficial bacteria that aid the myco and allow the plant to uptake nutrients better and gain a lot more stability so it’s a must! Have had a battle with these ladies from thieves , powdery mildew , and now bud rot. These pictures are from my lowest branches on the plan and let’s just say I’m already going to get roughly 6 oz or more just from two of the lowest branches. The rest of the plant is starting to take off and flower should be done in about 2 kore weeks or so 😁 overall I’m pretty happy with my ladies as they’re just hitting 12 feet 🤯

Back to feeding for the first time since transplanting, took a good part of a week to dry out proper so I have some nasty chlorosis/necrosis to bounce back from hopefully soon now back on feeding. On the plus side the toppings are going well hope to do a second time this grow. Added a dose of microbes but since I'm running non organic feed & upon reading this: https://www.gardenmyths.com/soil-microbes-need-to-add-them-garden/ decided to send back & discontinue.

Okay, that's it, I couldn't watch her suffering like that anymore. Her trichomes could've gone a little longer, but her overall appearance clearly was over it. The lack of aroma and stickiness from the trichomes worries me, but I do know how much she struggled during flower and that the nutrient availability in the soil was off, so I'm not really surprised. I've downgraded my expectations for the end result quite a bit over the last couple of weeks to a more realistic level considering the circumstances. For drying I'm trying something new - I've got a wine chiller, a poor man's Cannatrol, that I want to keep the temps low during drying in summer and for curing and storing in general. Curious to see what effect this has on the dried buds.
