20/12: Made the 2nd apical cut to the 4 arms to get the 8 colas and a full defolation of low part(i think the defolation was unnecesary but i was very excited hahaha)

Day 63: Hi all , a productive week it has been this week. The #2 has been taken out for her 48hr dark period before trimming and drying. She jas so much frost onher dark purple and red buds now too. she will be trimmed later tonight so will post a few pics later. Gorilla girls #1 is so close to finishing now too. Her colours are starting really come through now she is maturing and her smell is so sweet and clearly pineapples too. Her yield should be ok bit being kept lower may have been a factor in her overall size. perfect for a low , cupboard grow. #3 is very close to #1 in terms of a finish, if only a few days behind . Shebis so much smaller but her finalnpushbjas bought her on par for the amount of decent sized buds that smell so sweet and are starting to brown off on the tops mainly. I won't rush her but she is close. #4 is still my sneaky favourite for appearance without doubt. She is so beautiful as a plant it will be a shame to cut her down. She is so covered in trichs now that she looks silver and red. At least another week I thinks to get the best from this lady. A brilliant example of genetics. Sweet cheese is also very close to her finish but at least a week jumping by the fresh looking pistils poking out all over her thick main. She stinks of fuel now too. I will be interested to see how much she yields compared to trained ladies. Well hopefully the next update will be to say they are all hanging to dry amd maybe 1 actually harvested. The time has come, here we are into the first couple of days of flowering, slightly upset because I can’t look at them during the day and their light cycle runs at night but I have to get used to, I used to spend hours staring at them. My Gf told me to get for a second into the feeling of the plants and imagine this human look at me for hours 🤣🤣 I have to admit that would be slightly creepy and they don’t know yet that I’ll chop them down and smoke ☠️ Enjoy fellow growers ☮️✌️🏼😎

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. 05/13/2025 Growing well, don’t have to do anything but refill the nutrient water whenever needs (usually every 2 weeks or so)

11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. I washed them and hung them to dry.....my dripping wet bathing beauties!😍

My three Bubble OG plants are looking fantastic, especially that tallest one! It's reaching for the sky and makes me think the others might have a little sibling rivalry going on. I can't wait to see how huge it gets.

We are in week 6 of bloom on a 7 to 8 week flowering time! I am LOVE LOVEING this strain! Within this last week its gotten a Bit hotter later in May! We sare doping grereat tho, She is showing some signs of heat stress in my eyes causde of the burnt tips, I dont think nutrients caused this cause I have not been giving here many nutrients, the top feed and one tiime I gave her some Tastey Terpenes from advanced nutrients. This living soil has been amaazing I honestly dont think I needed to give the plant the Nirvana, I do think it helped. I am light watering with irrated ph balanced for the next few days, might gvive her some sugars molasses yummm. much love looooking to harvest soon, This strain is blowinig my mind, so is this soil. With everything I put into the soil and learning how to build a soil has beeen a journey and im on it! Hoping this plant swells up some in the next weeek put some weight on, now that all the pistols are brown ill check thrichomes soon!!

hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.
