Flowering begins. First time I shoot a germination timelapse. That was about 36 hours in 2 min, if you are interested. She took a while to trigger though. Let's see how she grows.

She is on a 12 /12 light cycle as she is in a tent with some photo period sisters that are in flower at the minute. So she won't have such as good a harvest if she was on a 18/6 light cycle.

Los tonos marrones en las flores van ganando terreno, aunque todavía están lejos de su punto óptimo. Me extrañaría mucho que en una semana más estén al punto para la cosecha aunque el Green House seeds diga que son 8 semanas de floración. Habrá que ver la semana 8. La cosa pinta bién.

Treated the girls to a new grow light Friday, the ACInfinity EVO4. Set at 18" and 60% to start. So far so good, but OC looked a little droopy Saturday morning. Raised light to about 19" while I had my coffee. Fed them both 3 litres of water with 2ml per litre of Remo veg schedule Friday evening and topped OC to help keep canopy even. For the second time I had little to no runoff, even after increasing the water by 1 litre. More next time I guess. My original plan was to flip to 12-12 when the lights come on tonight, but I think I'll give them a few days under this new light to get their groove on and raise the power of the light by 10 each day and drop it a little closer to the 18 " AC Infinity recommends until I'm at 100% and 18" then prune and flip. I think I've got room to stretch. Plants are at 11-12" tall from the Promix, so I can definitely let them veg for another week. Raised the light back to 24 inches after my coffee, still at 60%. Saturday morning I fed about a litre of straight RO water to both and Saturday night I cleaned up a dozen or so fan leaves that were shading bud sites. Sunday OC still looks a little droopy, but much better. Sunday morning lowered light to 22" and powered at 70% with a 1 hour sunset sunrise. Fed them Monday night until runoff and took 6 litres at 2ml/l about a litre and a half came back out. Next time I'll give them 5 litres. Been trying to dial in this new light, plus I've went down the light meter rabbit hole on YouTube.....so according to Photone everything seems to be in check with the light at 70% at 24". AC infinity must have a more light tolerant stain in their test labs because full power at 18" would have my girls chicken fried in no time. Tuesday morning they both looked great, temps and humidity and light and nutes all seem to be pulling in the same direction. Plants are about 12&13 inches tall Likely flip them Thursday evening 😁😨😰 Wednesday morning gave them a small haircut of some leaves blocking budsites, and a bit of plant yoga bendiness and gentle restraints to let the light into the heart of the plants. So on page to flip tomorrow evening. Light is averaging 700 micromoles per second.

Sweet seeds thanks for super strain

Cut a week early and a little bit of drama along the way, some issues with persistent bud rot from week 14 or so most likely caused by my blocked intake filter. I learned a lot during this grow and will take these experiences and hopefully turn them into a better next time! Will definitely have another go at growing Royal Gorilla in the not too distant future, however I think I have enough to smoke on for quite some time. Overall appearance of the buds and their structure are not as pretty as my last run, however the flavours, yield (1.48 gpw) and potency make up for that imo. Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making their way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

day 42: LOTTA leaves, had to defoliate 2-3 times. they started to show their first pistils a couple days before the Ayahuascas, hope I can do a harvest before May,(the Peyotes) but it seems really tricky..unfortunately I need to leave them for a week in April. I'm pretty scared to leave them alone at the end of flowering... Day 43: do you think the leaves on 2 plants might be too dark green? Thanks! day 46: defoliating
