Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

First week of flower for the 1, both responding well...decided to clean them up a little let some light get through with some defoliation.. Starting to take shape ✌️🏼pushing the smaller ones limits as she's not in flower yet so I've topped her, pinned her down let's see what can happen 🤔

Pushed up to a DLI of 31 by day 13. Started to see some tacoing so dialed it back to 26. Hadn't fertilized yet so the EC is low. Plus, I really hate dealing with a humidifier and she's almost able to self sustain humidity. So went with less light instead of more humidity. I need Hydroguard but it’s hard to get it. I imported all of my nutrients from Aussie but they dont have Hydroguard. Anyways, i removed my scrog net due uneven light coverage. Ill harvest the top buds first then let lower buds grow for extra 2 weeks. After harvesting, 15 clones are waiting to be transferred in. They’ll be in coco this time.

Yellowing of the leaves, caused by a deficiency or excess. The plant has a genetic anomaly on one branch. Very compact plants, not suitable for topping. I won't get the expected results with this variety. I'm trying my best to manage the video, but it's not easy.

Cut net down this week and had a reshuffle around, dos si dos was a lot taller so move lights up and put other 3 plants on top on boxes to level top as much as i can Had to do a little late trimming to help airflow down low and just give a little more breathing space as suffered with a little rot on my first grow luckily not too bad though but fingers crossed none at all this time, i managed to avoid it on my secone grow so hopefully will be ok Plant looks strong and healthy, had no issues so far plenty of tops cant wait to see it fatten up

Flushed all the girls this week seen to be getting close to harvest time now 😁😁 starting to notice more of a lovely smell this week 👌 all frosting over nicely and bulking up not sure if in going to make my target weight this time but should be some tasty smoke. Got my missile 33 plant looking nice n bushy waiting for a space in the tent think she will be a lovely plant from what I've seen so far. Roll on harvest time 🍁 peace

SUMMARY: - overall everything went smooth but I overcompensated the LED height, I started too high (lack of extension cords), then I dropped them too low, ultimately burning the second set of "starter" leaves (after the cotyledon set). I didn't get the humidifier and climate to synergize in the way I liked either, but it went well overall. nov. 11 12:00 - third seed has still not been able to germinate, resorting to emergency soak in glass of bottled flat water 15:00 - seed taken out of glass back in damp paper towel nov.12 23:00 - put humidifier inside tent set to 95% but rH never got to 60% according to AC infinity's humidistat in between both smart pots at soil level - lowered lights from 30inch to floor to 20inch to floor - soil is 3.5" from floor - seedling canopy is 1.5" tall nov. 13 - 15:00 Grow tent climate stabilizing with the humidifier helping keep the rH between 50-60%, which is about 10% higher than before. - note: humidifier is set to max 95% rH on its setting, claims the rH is high around 80% but the AC humidistat right at the canopy claims it is closer to 50%. - Keeping the AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6 controller set on 24/7 only on setting 2 - note: must be careful with the S6 active intake, as the ducting can drastically drop the cfm coming in, resulting in a rapidly increasing negative pressure which if left uncheck could force the tent to cave severely. It was very important to watch immediately when changing the inline fans speeds, and the ducting positioning to ensure a stable and safe pressure exists. - Temperature stable around 78F during 18H of LED light - soil is slowly drying up, its still significantly heavier than the empty pot, not quite moist so will have to see about watering, still trying to get those roots to work for it and avoid overwatering. - Turned on 6" mini fans to get the lanky stalks to dance a bit and strengthen, fans are about 2 feet away at 45 angle set on "normal" power nov. 14 19:00 - humidifier is able to get the tent to a low rH of around 60%+ nov. 15 14:00 - one hour after turning on lights without humidifier on and the rH drops from 53% (as it levels out to when lights are off for 8H) down to 40%. Nov. 16 17:00 - seedlings looking a little sad and in need of some water - the younger seedling’s leaves are starting to twist a little bit (like a propeller), this could potentially be from the mini fans moving them around. - gave both plants 3x waterings of 50ml each, over the course of 5 mins. Watered until run-off, soil was extremely light and dry as to encourage greater root growth. Water was measured at 6.92 and the run-off is measured at 7.21 for the younger smaller seedling but 8.14 for the larger older. Hello present and future growmies! Welcome to the start of week 9 for Queen Citronella. First things first, please go and check week 8, I update daily and the week is now complete. Day 57: Her majesty is parched and so overgrown in her space that I've decided to give her a haircut. It will hopefully make her easier to move about too. I've fertigated 10l today and performed LST adjustments and significant defoliation. Made a little collage to show the training I did. Day 58: Tried to colour correct photos. Any good? Day 60: Disaster! SOMETHING has gone horribly wrong! The Queen is unwell and now I shall try to figure out why. It seems like heat stress but I don't get how. Alright I think it is heat stress but I am not sure how, the temp hasn't gone above 26 degrees to my knowledge. Two things have changed this week first my house has been about 3 degrees warmer, and second I switched the main tent to 20 hours. I wonder if the additional time and the extra heat in the house has caused it to get too high. I have opened a flap at the side of her tent, and I am going to drop the light in the main tent down to 19h. As well as this I am now leaving a window open when the lights are on. Hopefully I can stop it getting worse but it is all over the plant. :( Okay soI think I have caused nute tox/shock - specifically I think what happened was an accidental big overdose of CalMag raising the EC too high. These symptoms came on way too fast to be a simple deficiency or lock out, and the PH wasn't so far off as to cause these issues. I've treble checked and the temp hasn't exceeded 26 degrees, nor dropped below 17. I flushed her through with PH water today approx 40 litres - until runoff was clear and correct PH. I am not going to nute her for a day or two. Day 62: I have ordered the queen a new tent. 75 x 75 x 200. She's still asleep at the moment but I'll photo her later. She's really taken a hammering from, what I now believe is, nutrient toxicity. Day 62: Her majesty is looking much revived compared with the last few days. I THINK she will be ok. I've made a video assessing the damage. Ouch. Sorry your majesty, please not off with my head! Day 63: Alright I have a new tent for her majesty arriving next week and I've new airflow for the main tent. She seems to have recovered from the burn and is stretching again. End of week summary: First big mistake and first serious issues for Citronella. Sorry about that. However she has now recovered and is growing again. I cannot undo the damage but I think I have halted any further damage. Let's see what happens next week.

Going good so far, starting to show some frost. Draining the ac Infinity self watering bases every other day. The grow dots seem to be giving it what it needs. Added the ac Infinity s24 with the Evo 4 in a 3x3 today giving the tent 500 watts. Day 52 she's looking great, nice bud sites forming. I can't believe early on I almost gave up on her because she was so small but she has really turned it up and will be a 4 ounce plant easy.

Welcome to week 6. Day 36: Took off a few fan leaves today and gave water only. Day 37: Height 28cm Day 39: Fertigated with an extra strong mix, I'm going to up the nutes now until I find her maximal tolerance, she is starving. Day 40: Still starving. I'm keeping her constantly topped up with quite high strength nutes but it's not enough. I think 200ml may have been an overly generous estimation of her root space volume. Day 41: I knew this would be a challenge but it is proving more difficult than I expected. I hope the effort is worth it! At least so far I have learned more about autoflower flowering triggers with this grow. Day 42: in trying to get enough food in to her I have nute shocked. Need to somehow flush and hope for the best. I may have dealt her a fatal blow. Alright so to end up this week I have flushed the ever loving crap out of this lady. I've burned her with too much nutes, I didn't think it was possible but I went really over the top. So I have used a combination of a straw and 2l of PH corrected water and a lot of time and patience to repeatedly saturate and then upend and allow to drip out (with the aid of blowing bubbles in there with the straw). Eventually the run off stopped being dark brown. Then much later it became clear. I do not know if I can save this plant now I have really hurt her she looks in BAAAAD shape. Let us see what happens over the next week. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week.
