More Fantastic Grow News! They have been still doing great and developing the flowers and buds - I am VERY happy with how everything has been turning out! When opening the tent you are immediately hit with the subtle smell of maturing, ripening ganja - Each flower has a mixture of white hairs, orange hairs and an incredible amount of frosty leaves and trichomes. I notice that my Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic #2 is sprouting the red hairs faster than the rest - I hope she can hold off until the rest of the girls are completely finished! The Cal-Mag seems to be working - I am noticing dark, dark green leaf color right next to the biggest buds - I am guessing that this is the Cal-Mag doing its thing. I see that the leaves that were damaged from the deficiency are slowly turning back, however I feel as it is this far along, the plants are most likely focusing on the flowers rather than the leaves - which seems to be what I wanted. The dark color next to the buds give me hope it was a good remedy. When touching each of the flowers, you are left with a VERY sticky, leftover goo than stays on your fingers. Each flower smells extremely distinct - which is somewhat unexpected. This just goes to show you the power of phenotypes! These seeds came from the same dispensary bag, and each one seems to be just a little different. You can especially see what I am talking about from the Macro shots I took this week - look at the descriptions for the full breakdown. Wish me luck! In general I'm very happy growing this strain. The germination rate was 100%, all 3 sprouted, even though one ended up dying after some weeks. My fault here, she grew upside down and when I moved her she didn't reacted well. The growing conditions were initially a little unstable as I couldn't find the right balance between temperature and RH, having the latter one constantly too low, making me buy an humidifier to keep the level higher. Well, too high in the lights off period, and when distracted could reach up to 99% RH, which isn't good. Again, lesson learned for the next grow. Maybe I've defoliated the plant a little too much and that might have also affected the crop a little. When it comes to feeding, didn't use so much plain water, the feeding were nutrient based all the time. Not sure if this had any negative effects in the plant. Was fun to train the plant and I could see actually some benefits in doing some LST in her. After all this, being able to finish with this amount of bud makes me generally happy and positive for the coming grows. Overall I think I made a few beginner mistakes that affected the plant growth and flower, but again, having no pests, plagues, or any diseases was already a very good accomplishment and I'm really looking forward to start the next grow, and enjoy the smoke from this little one. As it was the first diary ever, was very fun to do it, and helped a lot controlling crucial parts of the growth. Definitely will keep posting here my future grows. found a new soil bacteria product I thought I'd try out. it only contains 3 of the most prevalent bacteria found everywhere in nature. I took the min dose 2.5mg and brewed it out for 3 days with 30ml per gallon molasses. It all about the microbes.

Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. it's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what mine gets.

An exciting week again training this girl. Was spacing her out throughout the week using the low stress ties. As you can tell did a lot of defoliation and some minor lollipopping. Getting rid of the lower growth that'll be larf. Watering every day right now. Added the AC Infinity self watering device to this girl. Because of that and how much she stretched, I'm a little close to my lights. I've spaced out the clips as far as I can to raise it up but I'm just outta room. It shouldn't negatively effect the plants with this much space but still not ideal. If I run into any issues I'll turn the lights down to 80%. Maybe 2 weeks left on her. She is getting denser by the day. Smells so strong and sweet. Getting very nice fade now, will stop feeding next week and then just water.

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. Tables to be built this week after trim is installed Week 1 Spend - $2080 Week 2 Spend - $350 (mostly on hardware store visits) Total so far - $2430

This week was the last time i have fertilized, and from next week onwards they will only be given a little Canna Cannazym. I think it will take them about 2 weeks to finish.
