Just took some clones from this beauty and we have about 4 weeks until i begin flower.Will increase nutrient dosage a little bit as i feel i could push them a bit more.. My feeding schedule is interchanged daily between nutrients and regular ph'd water as it is very hot and these pots dry out daily. The tap water in my area is about 250 ppms so i am working with that until i get an RO filter.. This is still my first grow so im taking it one step at a time.. all advice is welcomed and would be greatly appreciated .

so i let the plants veg out for another week (per my girlfriends recommendations). here's a plug to CocoForCannabis.com, I learned a lot there and I give a lot of credit to high frequency fertigation in coco. I defoliated twice just this week, and within a day or two all of the leaves have come back. i did one large defoliation today as I plan to flip to flower on Tuesday. I'll let all these grow vertical and then I'll do one final cleaning at the end of week two. I'm loving these barneys farm genetics - the plants are strong, and I'm getting the craziest lemon scent - like lemon candy. not a lot of skunk coming through yet, but I'm sure that will come in flower. i also cracked on of these plants right down the main stem when doing the quadline LST, and it just powered straight through and didn't even show and stress signs. full credit to the genetics on that one. included some before, during and after pics of defolation. unfortunately my timelapse got messed up AGAIN (stupid wyze cameras) so I only was able to pull like two days, but you can see some of the daily quadline training and how fast they flip back up and grow out

Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks – hell yeah 💰) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress – just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco – never again in one go 😅 The Kickoff 🚀 This run started off wild and direct – no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors – not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend 😆), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom — Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 — they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25°C vs my usual 30°C). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up – officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2–5 Flowering 🌸 These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy — classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. I’ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30°C with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot CO₂: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. I’ve kept it low-stress — no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks 🔧 Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal – less CO₂ loss. CO₂ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. I’m not going all-out with gas bottles; it’s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants don’t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) 📆 We’re deep into flower now — week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow — set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. 🌞 Check the latest pics — they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) 💭 This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though I’m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over — the structure, the vigor, the smell… mmm. Now we wait for the real magic — the last few weeks of flower. 📋 Comments Zoap by MSNL is a really good strain, very rapid growth early on in its life and continues at a nice rate right up to harvest. From my experience I'd say this was one of the easiest plants i have ever grown. 📋 Data Seed to havest=112 days. Veg time=40 days. Flower time=72 days. Wet weight=990g Dry weight=79g 📋 Smoke report Trimming this was a delight. I let her hang for 15 days before trimming. Nice easy plant to trim. I didn't have any real larf either, the trim is coated with trichomes so I'll do a hash run with it. The buds are pretty damn solid with plenty of sticky trichomes all over them, just like we want. I was getting a citrus smell when trimming. After 2 weeks curing in the terplock groove bags I had a sample (miles better then jars). 1st sample was using my pax plus. 2nd sample was a joint. I'm getting an earthy cherry taste with a sweet aftertaste. This high is great, I'd guess at 25%Thc or more. 📋Grow stats for GDG 22 #1 Lemon cherry gelato=104g #2 Zoap=79g Total=183g Lights on. 20hrs×7days=140hrs 18hrs×33days=594hrs 12hrs×78days=936hrs Total hours=1670hrs Light power=211.09Kw Rad power=415.73Kw Extractor=43.5Kw 4 gang=56.62Kw Top fan=27.82 Total electricity=754.76KW Electricity cost @£0.25/Kw=£188.69 Average light power a day=1.78Kw Average watt per hour=106w g/watt=(183÷106)=1.72g/w £/g=£1.03/g 📋Final word. Considering how cold it's been i have managed to get a decent VPD throughout the grow, I'd go as far to say the extra money spent on electricity was definitely worth it. I didn't run into any major problems and the Plagron nutes were excellent, I'm thinking these are going to be my goto from now on. I combined the trim from both plants to make a hash run and managed 14g of hash. That takes my total to 197g for the grow. Very happy. Back soon. Gave bloom mix of fertilizer. Starting to get chilly here so have to figure out the other extreme of the temperatures… bought a small heater and seeing if it will do. Just set lights to 12s. Countdown to signs of flower! And eyes out for any balls.

Week 6 of flower 9/13/24 Changed the nutrients to fit week 6 of flower. Runoff PH and EC daily (EC 1.3, PH 5.1). using H2O2 with every watering (to help the PH stabilize at 5.5-6.5 range if there is a root problem). plant seems happy and not showing necrosis/ nutrient burn problems. Hand watering ones a day at the beginning of the light schedule.

Hey Growmies. 😎This is a back post...sorry took me so long. Nov 8th (sunday) She looks nutrient deprived. Little did I know the VPN (low) was so far off after changing my pre-filter that the negative pressure wasn't allowing her to want to pull up nutrients. Has been a problem longer than I realized. I had no idea that my fan was too strong for my tent. Can kill a plant. Live and learn. So, now comes the story of nutrient toxicity because I DX wrong and gave some amendments and nutrients that she didn't need. So sad. . …. Soil PH is at 6.7 Watered about 3/4 gallon almost 1 gallon Growers recharge With soluble kelp Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution) NOV 9th RH is 52 and temp 72.5deg (RH is dropping due to increased airflow) She does not appear to be stressed this morning. Growth is still very slow but the new leaves appear to be healthy with no Brown tips. There's still New Growth appearing on the old nodes where fan leaves have been removed due to burning lower down on the stems. I'm hoping there's not much more lateral growth and more of a filling out so that I can flower.(room for the stretch) I hope the lower humidity is conducive to her growth and not going to cause Mite infestation due to stress and defenses down. On that note the tanglefoot needs to be reapplied. On about a 10-minute inspection I see no visible signs canoe leaves or might damage. The wettable sulfur seems to be stove in them off. I'm also doing my best to boost the immune system of the plant. I've been meaning to do a compost tea in order to infuse the soil with more microorganisms including both bacterial and fungi.  Still learning about “living soil” and probably making tons of mistakes but am bumbling through. NOV 10th Defoliation NOV 11th On this day she was still looking so deprived of nutrients. SHE WAS. Only not for reason of them not being in the soil. Environment was off and she was just protecting herself by not taking in the necessary food. I was of the midset to save her with soothing things which are good for “plant stress” and some nutrients. WRONG I was again. This is what I gave her that day. (A great combo but not what she needed) Soil PH 6 Growers recharge coconut water (30ml per half-gallon)  aloe juice (1/8 cup in half a gallon)  With soluble kelp  Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution)   NOV 12th IPM: Foliar spray right after lights out: micronized sulfur- 1/5 tbsp per 1/2 gallon ,Aloe Vera 2 tbsp, yucca extract NOV 13th removed some dead leaves Soil PH 6.5 pot was medium /heavy- leaving it so I can put compost tea on tomorrow evening.  Defoliated any dead growth and any tiny branches that didn't have a lot of nodes on them.  Changed the timer for the FAN to 15on and 15 off. I had upped the heat in the house to 72 deg instead of 71 and things are VERY DRY! Too dry for the temp. The VPD just way off here. Explains some of the dryness I am feeling on the leaf surfaces, slow growth etc. This climate issue has to be checked. Also, added back in a second humidifier! Brewing compost tea........

Another week closer.... This grow went really well, we are at 43 days budding only have about 15 to 20 more days to go. Both the Gorilla Glue #4 and the Shiskaberry grew without any problems, Great genetics.. All 3 of the Shiskaberrys were the same and you would swear they came from a clone but no from seed and grew like twins..... Not much else to say. Hey guys, Like I said last week, this week was another cold rainy week. Discoverd some budrot on my Shamans, but not mayor problems. Therefore I decided to Harvest my Shamans at the end of this week. Knowing that in the upcomming weeks it will get even more colder, more rain and more bud rot. Luckly I only gave them water and one time with Humic-Blast and enzym+. Thats not a proper flush but better then full nutrients in the soil/plant. If it wasn't for the colder climate, i would had let them flower for another 1 to 2 weeks because they really started to thicken and the flowers were swelling. But at the end i rather have smokable buds then budrot buds,,, Weather for the upcomming week is 70% to 92% rain with 11-14 degrees Celcius and at night even 7-9 celcius. So there is no point by risking all of my buds to rot, in hope for some swelling which may never come with this colds The Critical Kushes where in their 4th week of flowering, going into the 5th. I have no other choice to keep them at least for another 2-4 weeks, lets see how it goes. I don't mind spending nutrients on maybe a lost cost. Welcome back!!! It’s the beginning of week four. I now consider this plant to have finished the seedling phase, now move onto the veg stage. THURSDAY - Day 22 10 October 24 - Switched the blue spec light out for the red spec light. - 380 PAR/ PPFD at 26 inches distance. - Topped the two bottom branches. - Started doing a little LST by adding a few staples and a little bit of branch manipulation. - She’s slowly shaping to my vision for this plant. - Gotta start thinking of up potting her soon into her final home. FRIDAY - Day 23 11 October 24 - Added two more LST staples. - Just a day under the lights. SATURDAY - Day 24 12 October 24 Watering day, 1 litre of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 1 litre - 61.1 PPM Final - 1 litre at 6.45 PH at 62.8 PPM Runoff - N/A - Thinking of removing those giant fam leaves soon, they’re becoming cumbersome. - Did my final planned topping of the two top branches. - I tweaked a top branch and there was a pop at the knuckle, not a complete break but there’s a bit of damage. - I’m fairly confident that she’ll send resources to fix it and make it even stronger. - No stress, we push forwards and roll with the punches cause that’s what we do around here. SUNDAY - Day 25 13 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - She doesn’t seem too bothered by yesterday’s branch tweaking. - There’s a but of a split but it seems to be scabbing over. - I’ll keep monitoring it over the next few days. MONDAY - Day 26 14 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - Also a good recovery day. TUESDAY - Day 27 15 October 24 Transplant day into a 5 gallon pot and her final home. 60% Gaia Green Soil 20% Worm castings 20% Perlite 8 Tbsp Gaia Green All Purpose 4 Tbsp Gaia Green Power Bloom 5 Tbsp Diatomaceous Earth 1/2 Tbsp Dynomyco Amended this mix and transplanted. Watering day, 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 5 litres - 61.2 PPM - Add 2.5 ml Cal-Max - 172 PPM - Add 5 ml Supermax - 206 PPM - Add 15 ml Miicrobial Mass - 337 PPM Final - 5 litres at 6.61 PH at 337 PPM Runoff - N/A - Removed the LST staples to let her acclimate to her new home. - Will resume LST in a few days. - Removed the lowest fan leaves. - Some leaves are funky but they also are in the way of the important growth so they may get removed in the near future. WEDNESDAY - Day 28 16 October 24 - Just a day under the lights recovering from yesterday’s transplant and extended light hours. - She’s perked back up and looking happy though. - Probably resume with LST staples tomorrow. - The tweaked branch looks like it’s going to recover just fine, just a little weary about working it too soon. This is effectively the end of week four, it’s been quite eventful but we’re done with topping and transplanting so we’ll see how she gets on these next few weeks of pure unadulterated vegetation. Plants looking good, I removed two fan leaves to allow more light to reach the lower branches. Im trying to encourage horizontal growth not vertical so I try to do everything I can to coax the plant outwards and not upwards. I regularly bend the stalks downwards gently with my hands. Watered with fert again this week. Nothing else to report. Next grow im definitely gonna try main lining as always any tips or comments always appreciated -

Well I said I was leaving her untrained but on day 56 I gently tied back a few branches to open up the canopy. This is looking like it's going to be my best grow yet.
