Stem rubs are light lemon cake. Some have no taste. 3 are pretty big, 1 no smell nothing special. One is unwinding twisted root but has tight nodes lots of new growth but no stem rub. They all nice n hairy good immunity some are very fast and nice smell! Culled the two shortest ones after snell n node test they were just nothing special. Down to 3 with one lanky one small nodes but hairy n good smell gonna give her a week n see.

Doing great and starting to chunk up very nicely. After moving her a bit closer to the light her leaves started to burn a bit yellow/brown, which is weird because it’s still 30-40 cm from the light..

I continue to see yellow leaves and cannot figure out the root of it. I can't tell if its a nutrient deficiency or a PH issue, if the nutrients that I add do no suffice then I will go get some PH down, as my soil PH is slightly high at 7.0, but I would not believe that could be the cause of it, only time will tell. To end on a more positive note, even with some yellow leaves some of these plants are bursting with life, and starting the 3rd week with some monster leaves for such a young plant. *UPDATE* We are now currently near the end of the weeks and the plants are beginning to truly thrive with some nice stalks and an explosion of colas. The yellowing seemed to stop now that I give it a regular supply of nutrients, also trimmed off any excessively yellow leaves. I did some very light pruning as well to allow more light to the newer colas and may have accidentally topped to runt plant way too early haha whoops so lets just hope for the best for the little guy.

Day 52 looking just beautiful I can’t even with this lady. She has impressed me every step of the way. So happy with how she is frosting up and showing out. Jeez fast buds hitting it out of the park with these original release 🔥🔥

Start of week 8. Week 7 went very well for the Do-si-dos, she also filled in her buds, very dense and lovely smell! She's got crazy trichomes and is almost as sticky as the Glueberry OG.

Oct 12: super warm still so the season is still going. In previous years we’ve had a -10 C sort of hard frost by now. Anyway, Bruce here is taking advantage of the warm weather. Sunlight is weak so not producing as many trichomes as she could under stronger light, but she is still putting on weight and the buds are decently firm. Most fan leaves turned purple at which point they’re no good for photosynthesis so I figured it’s better to remove them here in the home stretch. Might harvest in a few days, or might not… Oct 13: first round of 940 g wet buds, mostly as fresh frozen, with 80 g of that hanging. Buds are less dense than the Gorilla Cookies so despite Bruce being the bigger plant, it looks like the final yields will be similar. Left biggest cola on plant to see how much further it can ripen. Oct 14: watered with 26 C water with some potassium sulphate. My TDS meter has been broken all season so was estimating. Oct 15: nice weather continues. Oct 16: +4.2 C temperature anomaly over last 30 days, and this is “extremely hot”. Yay. Oct 18: sun is so low now that I lose direct sun by late afternoon. Weather turns soon and there are just four more days to go. Bruce will be harvested this weekend.

Week 6 Days 36-43 (a lil over a week) Both phenos are strong. The right one is bigger but the left has more shoots but smaller. I actually think I'm gonna get 2 different phenos. If that's even possible with 1 seed. They should be the same or its either 1 is bigger cause its taken up more, but, its hard to tell at this stage. They're acting very similar. But different in ways. The smell on one is my zingy, and the other is real deep candy lemon. Plant(s) smell amazing. Happy they went well be uppoted to a 20L pot. (I actually cut the pot away like you would a dixy cup placing it into new pot already back filled with soil. So no stress. Ruined a pot. But, hey. Wtfc right. Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! This week started out well. After topping both sides started growing pretty quickly. Later on in the week I decided to see how flexible the new branches were, they seemed pretty flexible so I wanted to start fixing them down, but not too low. Sadly one of the branches snapped off. I quickly tried to reattach it, but it got loose and died off. New plan, I left the second node intact to fill up some possibly empty spaces, but now they will have to serve as the right side of the manifold. Part of the timelapse is a bit weird as the camera kept sliding out of position because of the wire pulling it down, but that should be fixed now.

Started off week 2 with heavy defoliation // they took it like champs // they instantly started to fill the space again // back right corner is still a bit behind but the rest of the canopy looks crisp 👌🏼 End of week 2 // kolas starting to form up // currently 27° at 60% // gonna lower the temp to 25 very soon // also collecting the water every day and then water them daily // gonna start using green power phosphor booster in the next week

Didnt take a ton of photos this week. But flipped the light schedule to trigger flowering. The canopy has filled out beautifully. If i was more patient I would have vegged for a week or two more.

Although these plants might look small for 7 weeks old, it's because of the way I've been training them, to grow horizontally & all the H.S.T I've performed to get a really strong, thick structure & also as I've had to manage the height as they will be in veg until the plants in flower are finished & I can transfer them & start flowering. Continue tying branches down as they grow & separate growth tips. Also defoliate leaving only top growth as this will be removed later anyway. Very hardy plants that have handled all the H.S.T & my accidental abuse with no worries. Very thick strong branching. Finished training & now letting them grow upwards to get a bit of size before they get put to flower. Tough week lol after some trial and error due to germinating in paper towel and placing directly into 3 gal pot killed the first seed of seeds I believe due to under watering :( Tried germinating in paper towel this time, THEN transferred to peat pellet once root came out about 1/2 inch. Misted top and placed in a tray with a humidity dome and a heating mat, keeping temp around 81. Waiting til 2-3 leaves come up so I can transfer. Anyone know if I should be adding light yet? Or no? Thanks everyone!! If it wasn’t for ur advice I would no be here lol. 🌱🌱🌱 til next week 🙏🏼

03/22 - Night/Daytime shots - Both have grown about an inch since last week and are thriving - I will be running drip lines on them probably by the end of the week for consistency with feeds. 03/23 - They got a little funky on me last week so I fed them both to run off and realized their PPMS/PH where insane!! - Flushed them out hard last night and in less then 24hrs they are already bouncing back - Will stick to just clean water feeds for now - They will begin a low-dosage nutrient feed (Micro-dosing) in about a week.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎 03/27 - After flushing to combat the PPM/EC/PH over kill they are bouncing back accordingly - LST'ed them both to make room for mid root zone coverage and try to even out the canopy early. 04/01 - Closing out the week humbled - got 2 comfortable and impatient - they took a minor hit but are rebounding accordingly - She new week for current update.
