Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Done some LST, maybe too much lol ( I’m still learning). Topped all 4 successfully . Finally feel like I’m getting some where I have learned a hell of a lot just from these few weeks. This is the first time I’ve ever done any type of training in a strain and photoperiods so I’d rather focus on learning than just yeild.

Room full of clones that I’ve ran before no surprises…1000w x6 room, 6 plants per light…stripped the big fan leaves of hung whole plants up. After the 7 day dry gonna bring in the crew of trimmers and get this done in one day…I hate trimming and I need room empty again so I can plant clones I have rdy to go in so it’s faster just to pay trimmers…I’ll report back with yield…I can already say it’s gonna be 12-15 packs I’m always hitting 2+ a light with these strains….I don’t weigh it wet it wold take too long and wet weight don’t matter none unless you running some fresh frozen and need to do math on yields

Week 12 looks girl #1 is coming to a end. I haven’t over fed or over watered and she’s starting to get yellow leaves. I feed her one more time at the end of this week. Starting week 13 I’m going to start to flush her. Her smell has gotten more intense this week also. She smells like sweet tropical citrus. Also she looks to be filling in more and her buds are starting to get a little dense. She definitely exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t have predicted from veg she would be this size. Girl#2 unfortunately never started flower and she’s going get 12-12 after I harvest girl #1. I’ll start another diary for girl #2 when that time comes. I knew she would be long winded but this is just extreme 😂. I know you experienced growers know this story very well, but for a rookie like me 😆 I’m pulling my hair out and punching the air with frustration 👊🤬🤯😁. This for me is a learning experience and I love the duality of this grow. I’ll know better next time I run into this time of issue. Thank you for viewing my diary. Fifth week of flowering. Too many pistils forming. As it was my first time I made a mistake and let the plant branch too much, so I have a lot of branches with small flowers competing for space on the screen with the big flowers. In my next cultivation I already know which branches to prune at the beginning. Finally, I am waiting to see these buds gain weight. Thank you all and see you next week

@ 1.4-1.5 kPa I discovered some spider mites, just an extremely small amount. I removed all unnecessary leaves over the last week and increased the humidity and airflow in the tent. Last but not least, I added some predatory mites to ensure the population stays small, likely because my RH was extremely low, in the 40 range.

10 weeks from seed to harvest. The nutrient line I was using didn’t give me optimal growth, for this strain and my level of experience. Had some great growth and veg time, about 4 weeks, but when flower kicked in they got beastly. I would say I had two different phenos of this strain, and the one pheno that is unique, had slightly looser buds than the other two. This could be because of the LST/super cropping of the main cola. The other two had nice rock hard frosty buds and have similar smells and profile. The other one has more citrus, and was a bit lanky, more sativa in looks. Overall, easy enough to grow, no major surprises, and decent enough yield for 10 weeks. This is a strain that could have been better had I not had some issues with either lockout/deficiencies.

Weak smell is finally starting to develop and it is amazing. Also starting LST this week on all four plants. I need help with the Royal Jack. The plant that started out so well is really struggling and I have no idea why. Any tips are more than welcome. Also I'm having a bit of a pest situation. Ive looked under the leaves and around the plant but was unable to find anything that could be capable of doing this damage. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance

Reviewing the plants i noted some small dots on the leaves which looked like typical bites from mites, so i sprayed some spidermite and we placed around 6 spical ulti-mite bags to prevent any further damage, lets hope it dont get worse but i think I've detected them just on time 😁 For the rest the plants are looking good, the buds are getting bigger and more thc is being produced 😁 we still have around 4 weeks to go 😅

Mandarin XL auto looks like she is done stretching. She is starting to for trichromes and start bulking. I did a solution change in her several days ago.
