D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! If you're wondering where all my other not actually week 9 shit went, I moved it back to week 8. Who am I kidding, no one gives a shit! Everyone now has a Blumat Maxi watering carrot. Now that they are just fattening up I can scale back on them and start focusing a bit more on Phimo, who's just reached ScrOG! Two feedings of their weekly tea, Sunday and Tuesday.

they have had 4 days of extended darkness, i left the nutrient info there but i did flush for a week and a couple days extra (many experts say you only need to flush for a week but i like to do a week plus another 2-3 days just to make sure it's well flushed) if it doesn't display there is a video if you open the last picture and click the right side arrow button on it (next picture button) or i think you can click the little play button icon where it should display, they usually don't display properly for me on the page (also video upload is extremely slow i will add)

8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. I ALSO HAVE A BIT OF DEFOLIATING ON A COUPLE PLANTS THAT I NEED TO DO. USUALLY I'VE LOST TONS OF LEAVES BY NOW. I JUST NEED TO IMPROVE AIRFLOW. THE TRELLIS WILL HELP WITH THAT PLUS SUPPORT. Pre98 Bubba , oh how I’ve missed you for so many years! These ones came out absolutely gorgeous! Loving the the purple phenos 😍 ! These ladies liked to stretch quite a bit so you’re gonna want to use some LST on em but I also recommend topping at least 6 times to get a better bang on your yield ! Expect nice tight purple buds with a tremendous amount of frost covering, some of the frostiest Bubba I’ve ever had! Over all I give it 10 stars an would definitely over an over run this strain!

Fans all port outside, 2 exhaust with yet uncoupled carbon filters, 1 inlet with pollen filter. 6-7 air push fans (not all yet on 😂). SpiderFarmer 16L humidifier, inkbird RH control, inkbird heat control, heater, trotek dehumidifier (12L) with drain line and reservoir. Blumat system with RO fed 20L water butt, each pot with 3 long ceramic blumats. Data logger from SensorPush including WiFi hub and 4 sensors. One in cellar room (lung room), one above each plant canopy. Setup logger n sensors and track VPD. System running itself

Week 6 all done and the babies are flowering and smelling lovely! Nothing new to report this week, I've just been watering in the top dress from last week, did some light defoliation today and some new lst ties to expose all those bud sites. 😍 This banana purple punch's stunt seriously cost her some stretch so a few of these budsites are really tight, my bad. Getting solid and developing a lot of orange pistils and the tricomes are lookings super frosty. About 2 weeks left then out to the moon we go!!! Hope its a good grade (quality high), I decided to make Velevet because the flowers looked beautiful to not try out. This will be the last feed then flushed for the next feed. Going to drench it until it reaches a desirable ppm level in the soil. That would make it start eating itself sucking out all the nutrients providing a smooth smoke and a great after taste. When you dont flush you get a better taste and why would you want to smoke nutrients? Gotta make the leave turn yellow then you know its good. This is almost the end and thankfully its been going good so far, see you soon!!!
