Both phenos are pushing pistils everywhere, covering the canopy with bright white hairs—a sign that flower sites are established and stacking is about to begin. • Pheno #1: Taller, more aggressive stretch, stacking sites fast, almost frame-filling. • Pheno #2: Slightly more compact, slower to start, but now catching fire—showing dense bud initiation with tighter internodes. The studio photo session this week captured the exact transformation: the difference between “pre-flower promise” and “flower reality.” From here forward, every day is about bud development, resin production, and stacking density. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Bloom Formula Dialed In The nutrient program continues blending Aptus precision with Plagron bloom support. The girls are thriving on this synergy—lush green leaves, pistil burst, no signs of excess salts. At this stage, stable environment = stable flowers. New Irrigation System – Mars Hydro Foldable Bucket Drip Kit This week, we also welcomed a new tool into the grow room: the Mars Hydro Drip Irrigation Kit (link here). 👉 Important note: I’m not running it on automation or timers. I will manually control it, plugging it in and off when watering. This way, I get the benefit of precise, even distribution, while keeping full hands-on control. What it is: • A bucket-based drip system that distributes water (or nutrient solution) evenly to multiple pots through adjustable drip emitters. • A way to reduce manual hand-pouring and ensure more consistent soil hydration. • A tool that can save root systems from “wet/dry pockets” that sometimes happen with hand-watering. What it is NOT: • It’s not fully automated irrigation (unless connected to timers or sensors). • It doesn’t make plant care “hands-free.” You still have to decide when and how much to water. • It won’t replace observation—plants still speak through their leaves and posture. What to Expect: ✅ More even watering across pots. ✅ Reduced runoff mess if dialed correctly. ✅ Less physical strain compared to hand-watering each plant. ✅ The chance to experiment with “precision irrigation” in future grows. What NOT to Expect (yet): ❌ Fully automated feeding schedules. ❌ Perfect calibration out of the box (it takes a few runs to dial flow rate for each pot). ❌ A substitute for plant observation—eyes on the canopy are still the most important tool. Educational takeaway: Drip systems are bridges between hand-watering and full automation. They give growers consistency without completely removing the grower’s role. For many, this is the sweet spot—technology supporting, not replacing, the human touch. P.S. #2 – Pheno #1 vs. Pheno #2: Different Timelines Another important note this week: the two Mango Kush sisters are not in the exact same stage of flower. • Pheno #1 – More advanced. She is already in full flower mode, pistils bursting, bud sites defined, white hairs everywhere. This is the classic “week 3 flower look.” • Pheno #2 – Slower. She is not yet fully in flower. Why? Because she was germinated later and is effectively running a slightly younger internal clock—closer to 11–13 from seed. 👉 With the 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 off), Pheno #2 is taking her time to settle into bloom. This is not a problem, it’s genetics and timing. Each seed is unique, and sometimes phenos stagger into flower. What this means for the grow: • Don’t expect both plants to bulk at the same time. • Pheno #1 may finish earlier. • Pheno #2 could become the “late bloomer,” giving us a longer harvest window and potentially different terpene expression. Educational takeaway: Not all phenotypes follow the same timeline, even under identical conditions. One may stretch earlier, another may flower later. As growers, our role is to adapt and respect the individuality of each plant. 🌱 💚 Growers love to all 💚

The grow was one of the best I've done, the strain itself is awesome, taste, smell and effect are all 11/10. If theres one strain I would grow again it would be this, if you haven't tried it.. it's a must grow. A hidden GEM for sure. Do not miss out!

It's week eight of flowering, and Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle has developed really nicely. The buds are relatively thick and firm, and the sweet aroma got me looking forward to the first taste test. Unfortunately, Lemon Cherry Gelato has not developed as well. The buds are not as thick and firm as I would like yet, but the smell is truly breathtaking.

Long hard life for this babby nearly died inside under scrog due to ph problems put her out side early summer and it cane back slowly but shurely so couldnt expect as much as usual love it tho all the way around goood stuff packed with crystals it really didnt appreciate cold climate either i dont think but turnout was great

8' semaine de floraison déjà Passé, elles ont 100 jours dont 56 jours de floraison. Ayez j'ai commencé le rinçage depuis le jours 95 . A1 à reçu 2x 1.8L cette semaine et B1 à reçu 3x 1.8L . Valeur EC début de semaine A1 : 263 ~ B1 : 220 , valeur EC fin de semaine A1 : 112 ~ B1 : 140 . Encore 2 bonne semaine pour espérer que les bourgeons grossisse un peut et elle seront proche de la récolte. *Week 4 Flower 09/24* Both Mimosa girls appear to be running fine with Mimosa (1) running a little behind but is catching up accordingly. Small oversight in early growth resulted in a minor stunt but she is improving dramatically. Water Feed has increased by half a gallon ( 1gallon clean - .5 gallon nute feed) *Week 4 Flower 09/28 - Mid week update* Both plants are flowering accordingly - Mimosa (1) is a bit taller then Mimosa (2) Buds are becoming dense and covered in trichomes. No deficiencies - No areas of concern - Potassium and Phosphate feeds continue *Week 5 Flower end of week recap - 09/30* Both Mimosa's are flowering nicely - Budsites covered in frosty trichomes. Mimosa (2) looks shorter but that is because her COLA was tied down to expose bottom budsites.

Grow Diary: Durban Poison Girls (Week 6) Dates: April 17 – April 23, 2026 Status: Vegetative Stage Overview The girls (DP1, DP4, DP5, and DP6) are looking robust and vibrant as they hit their stride in Week 6. The foliage is a healthy, deep green, and the stem strength has significantly improved this week. We are maintaining a strong indoor environment while watching the Easter Colorado weather closely to time their move to the deck. Weekly Environmental Log The weather was a bit of a rollercoaster this week. While indoor temps remained stable, the external conditions impacted humidity and light intensity coming through the windows. • Temp/Humidity: Consistent indoor temps at 22°C–24°C. Humidity was slightly lower this week due to the breezy outdoor conditions, requiring a bit more frequent misting to keep the "Sweetener" uptake optimal. • Weather Highlight: April 17 was quite chilly (5.5°C), but by the 20th, we saw a beautiful spike to 26°C. The girls enjoyed the extra natural light boost from the back porch windows during those sunny afternoons. Feeding & Maintenance We stayed the course with the organic regimen this week to ensure no nutrient lockout before the big transplant. • Nutrients: Half strength FOOP Veg and Sweetener administered on Tuesday (April 21). • Watering: Soil was drying out faster this week as the root systems expanded. Switched to a slightly heavier watering volume to ensure the 50/50 soil blend stayed moist but well-aerated. Plant Observations • DP1 & DP5: Showing the most vertical growth. Might need a final top above the fourth node if they continue to stretch toward the light panel before Mother's Day. • DP4: Very bushy! The LST is creating a nice wide structure that will fill out the 25-gallon fabric bag perfectly. • Pest Control: The African marigold seedlings are coming along nicely—no signs of fungus gnats or mites on the Durban girls. Upcoming for Week 7 • Prepare the 25-gallon fabric bags with the 50/50 Miracle-Gro mix. • Monitor overnight lows; we are still about three weeks out from the safe "after Mother's Day" transplant date. • Begin checking the "Garden" calendar for hardening-off windows.

Day36, 37, 38: Seems to be growing a set of leaves per day now. Super growth! Stretching to the top. Day39: I had a hiccup with the camera. For some reason it stopped responding at 04:30 in the morning. I only realized it much later. I still don't really know why, but reseating the data ribbon fixed the issue. Day40: After fixing the camera, I decided to take this view again. The Lady is starting to show some nice growth and this view will show it best. If you look carefully, you'll see that her branches are not green, but rather reddish. Definitely related to genetics :) Everything else is within limits. Plus, the leaves look super healthy. Day41: Here you can see the stem colour better.

Day 50 - Day 3 - 9/2 - Moved up to 3/4 strength of Plagron today, no extras, just about 5ml of cal mag. 850ppm @ 5.8ph. - 9" tall today still Day 51 - Day 4 - 9/3 - 9.5" tall! woohoo!! - Gave 4 liters today, wash her out a bit but kept ppm same. - Runoff coming out about 1000 ppm. Day 52 - Day 5 - 9/4 - 10" Tall - Gave another 4 liters today, but added in some power buds for some fun! Day 53 - Day 6 - 9/5 - 10" tall still - Accidently added my additives before my bloom today....I mean I'm just using one additive i guess, LOL the Power Buds. Well....I'm not remaking, she can yell at me if she doesn't like it LOL - Still giving 3/4 strength at about 850 ppm Day 54 - Day 7 - 9/6 - 10.5" - Went a little under today, gave only about 710 ppm at 6.1 ph. 4 liters. - Noticed a couple of tips today, will bring her back down, probably go back to 1/2 strength over the next few feedings. - Still on 5ml of cal mag. Day 55 - Day 8 - 9/7 - Lowered her today, Gave about 13ml of bloom, no additives. 15ml/gal is 3/4 strength btw LOL. 660ppm @ 5.8ph. - First runoff was in the 900s, so gave full 4 liters to lower a bit, but only made it to the 800s. - Went ahead and just made a small cal mag rinse of about 250ppm and a bit of SLF real quick to bring her ppm down some more. Gave her 2 liters. Got her to 720ppm @ 5.7ph runoff. - 10.5" - Will go to normal feed tomorrow at 1/2 strength (10ml/gal). Day 56 - Day 9 - 9/8 - IT'S MY 24TH ANIVERARY TODAY!!! 24 years, 2 beautiful boy that are all grown up now, and 12 wonderful cats. It's been an amazing journey! - Week 2 of Flower starts today! - 11" tall - Normal feed, but at 1/2 strength now, about 636 ppm @ 6.0 ph. Added some power buds too today. Gave 2 liters. - Runoff was 700ppm @ 6.1. Perfect! - Think I found her sweet spot, 1/2 strength at about 650 ppm for now....at least till next week LOL **Happy Anniversary, Babe! Well, she started to hold on to some salts after her flip into flower. She liked that small flush I gave. I will keep her low on the ppm side. She'll be dropping that cal mag soon too! Don't want to forget that, I forgot to drop it in Trillianz and got some orange leaves. I swear, I have to rely on Alexa to remind me of EVERYTHING! Maybe I smoke too much.... Slushie is gorgeous! Loving those bushy leaves and the cats are too! Nice pretty color too. She should start stretching more soon. Can't wait.

Plants started getting real bushy a couple of days after topping. Low Stress Trained all the plants at the end of the week by tying them down using rubber coated garden wire to spread out the newly grown tops. Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.
