This week went pretty well for my sour diesel auto. She Finally stopped growing vertically at about 48 inches to the top of the highest cola. We did have a serious heatwave and high humidity I been dealing with as well, but so far so good. The only thing I changed this week with nutrients is I raised my ec value to 1.6, at the advice of another grower, and the sour diesel took it like the piglet that she is. I am still on an 18/6 light cycle,which I plan to stay with the entire grow, and still feeding Maxibloom, calmag, and koolbloom. I am seeing some bright orange colored spots on the top leaves, but I am hoping it is just a little light bleaching. I have no experience with this as I have NEVER grown anything indoors before other than vegetable seedlings. Thanks for tuning in again. The ladies have been flipped. Few days before i have been adjusting my light schedule by reducing the light period by 15 every day to get them accustom to the longer nights. must say that the RH in the tent which used to be around 65 on a good day is now around 70%. Will have to ring out the dehumidifier. They are still on the same water regime but i think during this flower period they consume more water. Also I am unsure how to properly defoliate these ladies. So much mixed literature on the topic. I need to though as the girls are getting bushy and I have found some leaves on laying on top of other leaves and forming wet surfaces. A prime environment for PM and other shit that wanna mess with my harvest.

Removed all the new side shoots and the first set of fanleaves. Did this because I want the plant to focus all of its energy on the main stem. I dont need any new side shoots. I thought that this weekend I would flip them in to flower. But I'm going to wait some more. I want to see more height in the plants and I think that after this defoliation that hight will come quick😁🚀 PATIENCE IS KEY! On day 75 I changed the light colour from blue to red to see if this can promote some stretch before changing the lightcycle to flowering. ‼️I did not change the hours of light‼️ On day 76 it seems like there has definitely been some kind of reaction from the plants overnight. They seem to have stretched a little bit. I'll keep a close eye on em these coming days.

Veg day 39 week 6. These plants were mainlined to produce 12 to 14 colas ( branches) , completed last round of topping. They are now free to start growing upwards. They have developed really strong thick branching due to pinching the stems, H.S.T. Have done my share of damage to them, getting a little bit rough with some of the branching, splits & breaks in stems. Although they are very hardy plants & don't seem to be affected by it to much & it also helps to strengthen stems & branches to support the weight of BIG DENSE BUDS, & also aids in the increase of nutrients being delivered to your plants because it also increases the size of the Nutrient highway! (The hollow inner middle of the branches gets bigger allowing the uptake of more nutrients and water.
