day 7 Flowering: Hi all . It has been the start of their flowering this week and the initial stages of their stretch period. Time to exploit the burst of growth and set them in position for full light absorbing relaxation. The less stress to get light , the more focus on creating the beauty in flowering hopefully. I took some time to do a clear out of the small scrappy growth low down the stems to focus on the happy growing bud sites higher up. With their shape and size , the flowers would have been within the ball shapes and unable to develop properly. The shape of the plants from the tip spreading is very helpful now. I am able to tuck the really big powerhouse fans , underneath the developing lowers. This supports the lower growth to head higher but also keeps the main stem powered by the very important big fans. As these are autoflowers and able to use the available light through the huge fans , it can only be beneficial to keep them as long as possible while they are not blocking anything. The difference between the strains is noticable more now with the Strawberry Pie wanting to spread her branching more . Tip spreading has kept them smaller but their nature still has them wanting the long node lengths and cluster bud structures as opposed to long donkey di#ks. The other strains have benefited more from it and in particular, the #2 Six Shooter has an amazing amount of hopeful mains all fighting for focus so should be a good example of how tip spreading really works to create productive , squat beasts. Fingers crossed.lol They are still being fed just water with no additional boosts beside the last top dressings. I will be watering again with the biosys tea but they look so happy and green that I wont be adding any other products unless I notice a need. Cal.mag being the exception as I want to avoid the expected deficits from using l.e.d , before it can slow anything down in repair/recovery. The light is covering them all perfectly and with the height still to be lowered after the stretch is done , I know from previous Mars lights, the big solid nugs will appear.... I have used a video to show the past weeks growth rather than the usual pics and hope this will be more interesting than having to scroll pics. I also noticed a few leaf miners among the other plants and suspect we have some migration here too. Not too serious as yet but before it gets too bad , I used a store bought spray ( organic) to hopefully get to grips before they do. Failing this , a good smoke bomb might be used. Another good week. Been trying to water with my mix a couple times a week. Otherwise I've been using the blumats. There has been twice though I overwatered with those and flooded slightly. Still trying to adjust them just right

Starting to see little pistols so guessing this will be the last week of veg before the transition into flower. All in all Happy Growing

1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Everything looks great. onto Tomorrow!! 1/17/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 7- Today I filled the humidifers, checked the PH and just let her grow.. Grow baby Grow.....

Ich bin recht zufrieden mit der Entwicklung, größenmäßig sind nur ein paar cm dazu gekommen aber die Blüten machen sich, ganz OK. ich werde aber langsam ungeduldig und fiebere der Ernte entgegen. Das Wetter bleibt wechselhaft bis schlecht! So langsam bessert sich das Wetter. Leider habe ich einen massiven Befall von Trauermücken, Nematoden sind auf dem Weg. Der Sommer ist nach Deutschland zurück gekehrt und das freut nicht nur mich sondern auch die Ladys😎

Just been feeding her water once a week..she continues to swell I will give her some molasses one for the road and just water until week 8.

More defoliation, it never stops. She looks super healthy and ready to go into flower. Today was her last day in veg. Bring on flower and let's pray to the bud development gods to be kind 😂

I started flushing her on day 51, the buds already look like they’re swelling more aggressively. She is also expressing some dark purple tones on the buds up top. I had an issue with her almost falling over on herself so I gave her some resistance towards the opposite side. A few more flushes and I’ll cut her down. Day 60- her purple tones have really been showing up, today they were very noticeable, still no sign of amber trichomes, the majority are cloudy though.

Buds look great. I think shes got about 1-2 weeks to go. Some brown spots have been apearing that look like bud rot... Update week 15: I have been flushing them for a week now. I will let them go an additional week and then I will probably harvest depending on the trichomes. They smell lovely, the DGx3BOG smells like gummy bears and the Tangie smells indeed very citrusy.

Ladies and gentlemen, i'm happy to be growing this girl.Using the growdots so hopefully we have good results with a lot less effort .. i'd like to think Herbies Seeds for making this grow possible.. I've always been a fan of purple haze, so i'm hoping she is true to what I remember and love..
