The plants are growing like and hell and some plants more than others. I therefore have to super-crop the plants, which is a method promoted by SOMA from SOMA-Seeds. I take the stem of the plant at appr. 20 cm under the top, directly above an internode, and squeeze it hard between my fingers. So hard that I can feel the fibers brake inside the stem. I squeeze in a circle around the whole stem and then bend the stem sidewards until the whole top of the plant is bent 90 degrees to the side or even points downwards. This way I dont have to top the plants and save the big top buds. The stem will heal and the plant will continue to grow, just at a lower height. I use this method since many years and it works GREAT. The BIO-TABs nutrients still do thier job VERY WELL, all plants have a healthy green color. The SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lamps are still hung at 75 cm distance from the top of the pants and do an OUTSTANDING JOB.

Auto Black Opium 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W6 F1 Black Opium grew 3 inches again this week and is now 11 inches tall. Because I have iridium and copper in the water, the ph meter fluctuates due to breaking bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen. The fluctuation range I see is between 6.4 and 6.9 so I’m reporting 6.6. So far, I don’t see any negative effects of the iridium & copper on the plant. The soil base is Happy Frog, Coast of Maine, Mushroom Compost and Super Soil. I’m giving only ph water to her for this grow. I defoliated 8 large fan leaves to open up the center. Beginning of week 8 of veg and this girls has been topped for a second time. All of the side branched ate developing well and looks like they all will eventually be nice tops. Full strength Advanced Nutrients and she is loving it. Loving for to placing her under a scrog net and throwing her into flower in a couple more weeks.

Week 9 for this absolute specimen of a female Shes still fattening up incredibly, normal colas are forearm sized, poly cola is getting on for leg sized proportions 😂😂😂 Still a bit to go on her too, awesomeness Smelling like proper amnesia now unmistakable 👌😎👍😁

Been battling caterpillars & powdery mildew , gave them both a spray over night with some Lost Coast Therapy for the mildew & I will be spraying in another day or two with Monterey BT for the caterpillars, a lot of the mildew disappeared, about two more applications it should be totally gone. This will literally be my last major outside grow

All going well as they start to stretch into early flower. Lots of bud-sites forming which is nice to see. Seeing a noticeable pick up in speed of the daily growth now along with a slight change in smell. Not much maintenance just some minor defoliation and adjustments to the scrog and ties to help open things up. ✌️

☆♡ Gorilla Cookies: I've noticed a leaf fell off the bottom. I think I may've overdone the nutes. She's growing tremendously. I top dressed with the below, as the rest of my plants. I will only use PH'd water for the next several waterings, probably with Biosys or seaweed. ♡☆ 16.2.25: I decided to check out the lower canopies of all plants to see if I need to get rid of any foliage. I did get rid of a few small branches and leaves. However, whilst I was doing this, I saw more garden pegs from my LST remaining. There were about 6 or more in Pink Mist alone. Additionally, on Watermelon, there were some left in, too. I'm so annoyed to see that because the plants are really stretching, and I could've potentially disrupted this by leaving the pegs in for all this time without realising it. 🤞 that I haven't compromised things too much. We'll see. I watered today with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients; ♡ .8g Green Leaf Nutrients PK booster ♡ .5g Ecothrive Biosys I ordered quite a few things for the garden. I got Greenleaf Nutrients Sea K(elp) and Mega Crop Parts A+B. To go with their PK Booster I got last month. I'm excited to try it all together. Next run, maybe just using these. We'll see how it goes. 18.2.25: The plants are going crazy for water! Everything is getting used right up so fast! Today, I decided to add some more Black Strap Molasses to add some carbs and other micronutrients. I'll add the jar with the label in the photos section above. I watered a very small amount to each plant. What I put in: ♡ Black strap molasses 150g ♡ 2g Sea K(elp) Greenleaf nutrients. I dissolved everything in 4ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. 19.2.25: I received the majority of the garden purchases that I made. I'm still waiting for the Ecothrive Life Cycle. I wanted to top dress, but it's been delayed unfortunately. I am using my Greenleaf nutrients products which I bought on Amazon. I got the Mega Crop 2 part system Part A and Part B. I have the Sea K(elp), and the bud explosion PK booster. I really wanted to get some of their sweet candy asking read many positive reviews. Unfortunately, for me, this is unavailable to buy currently. So that's a little disappointing. I needed to do a good watering so when my nutes were delivered today, I got excited 🤗 I watered 2ltrs of dechlorinated water per plant, PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients: ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part B ♡ .5g Sea K(elp). The plants drank this up within a few hours. I'm going to try and hold off on watering in hopes that my Ecothrive Life Cycle will arrive so I can top dress and water it in then. 20.2.25: My Ecothrive Life Cycle arrived yesterday, and the plants are ready for their top dress and a good watering in. I have some Biobizz Light Mix, Canna Coco,and perlite. I'm going to use this as a base to mix my amendments in. I'm going to fill my 5 gallon bucket with about 4.5 gallons of my top dress mix. I will distribute this across 6, 4-5 gallon pots. Then I will water in well with Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Parts A+B and Sea K(elp). I've made a crude attempt to video mixing my top dress. Don't listen to the audio. lol, my YouTube didn't stop playing whilst I recorded this 😂 So anyway, I added the following amendments to the above base mix of 4.5 gallons; ♡ 3 TBSP Ecothrive Life Cycle ♡ 3 TBSP Vitalink Bat Guano ♡ 3 TBSP Ecothrive Charge ♡ 1 TBSP RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 6 TBSP Ground Cinnamon.

Day 104. Last Tangies chop day. So , as you know three girls have dry results at the moment. Fatty tangie 69.65 Foxtail tangie 72.03 Slim Fat tangie 65.03 Upsidedown tangie still in dry tent, but one hanger was left with most of leaves for dry trim and other two made 29+ and 35+ , so its AMAZING that this plant will make 3 oz, look at week 4 and you will understand why i am so happy and amazed ;) Lanky aka Sativa dominant tangie which is choped today could still go, its day 104 from seed. This girl and really all of them except upsidedown should be defoliated, but its my first auto run purely indoors and i read so many crapy results, didnt want to stress them a lot. From 6 girls only 5 sprouted. All very diff just two fatties where lookalikes . Upside down had strange life and she looked and was trained ( toped ) other way than her sisters. Foxtail early started so quick and so strong but ended with airy foxtailed buds and last lanky aka sativa diminant had loads of colas in videos before harvest its easy to spot she should be lolitoped higer, again i would ajust it during grow, but fears about autos prevented me from using many tricks. With all love to RealGorillaSeeds , this bach was crap. Day 108. I have holidays and UpsidedownTangie with leaves was still damp as was Lanky Tangies all bigger buds ( if that airy long strech but crystaly as f@#k crap around stemp we can call weed or bud ;)))) ) So both where left for extra 3 weeks overdry ;))) hope it wont be harsh from that. I can guarantee that Upsidedown is the Champ at moment, those 4 top branches will have an ounce in them, so plant will be 90+. With Lanky Tangie is diff story, she is airy i needed to trim and lolitop her a lot more, she just couldnt feed every bud, still that pheno is super crystaly. I like it and from 2 bottom branch hangers i got 35+, so 3 other will have like 45-50 on them, again loads of .... Thats my nutes, in bag epsom salt, it was first grow with all of them, as you see for 9 plants I used almost nothing. In 3 weeks i will have full weights and smoke report, i like Tangie more everyday, still not even close to my fav taste ... P.s. i had a bit of leftovers of topmax, bio grow and bio bloom. Max like 200 ml. Bio grow still have a bit left in promo bottle. Less is more ! Day 125 Upsidedown Tangie 93.4 - current Champ, its amazing what she managed to do ... Lanky Tangie - 76.8 So total for all 5 Tangies is : 376.91 Not bad, still i will update later and ill explain why i didnt liked them ...

Welcome friends to week 14. 8/6-12. I did defoilation last week of most of the feeder leaves. The goddesses let you know what they want and dont want. When I was defoliating, if the leaf was hesitant in coming off, don’t force it, because it will bring part of the bud with it.That being said, I have 3 small buds that came off during trim. Close up pics above. I have these drying on a fruit bowl in the kitchen and will give CBG a try in about 2 weeks. 8/6 No water today. Adjusting to yesterday’s defoliation, outside time and fertilization. This is day 106 since popping the soil on April 17. Based on the last auto flowers I grew, I anticipate these will be ready to harvest at the end of 2 weeks (Aug 19-20). I don’t know how long it takes for trichomes to start turning amber but I see almost 100% milky, just no amber yet. 8/7 I’m pushing an extra day without water and not running humidifier. This is pushing VPD higher into the excess range. I read that this stress can motivate the plant to make bigger buds. Harvest time will determine if that’s so. 8/8 Ferigate 3 gallons using TPS1 23.75ml, Signal 9.5ml, EC 1.19, PPM 820, ph 7.5. I only gave them 1 ½ liters each today. 8/9 No water. Still not seeing amber trichomes. How long will it take? 8/10 light fertilize today. 3 gallons with 15 ml TPS1, 7.5 ml Signal. Each received 1 gallon. They were in the tub so all run off went down the drain and I didn't get measurements. There was a summer storm today so I utilized the time to go thru more boxes. A woman’s place was in the home. My grandmother, father and mother were all high achievers in their careers, and interests. All won awards for their achievements in work activities, teaching, and arts. This type A behavior was instilled in me from the start. In everything I did I had to be my best. I worked a variety of jobs from jewelry sales to office clerical during high school and college. Attending school and working at the same time and maintaining straight A’s is typical A behavior. I started picking up industrial psychology courses and some business. When I got into accounting, my male accounting professor said I was really good and I should consider it. The economics of business was changing. Women were breaking the glass ceiling in large corporations with more women were becoming CEO's of big corporations. So, I changed my major of study in college from science to business and accounting. I entered a difficult field. Once out of college, I started in the accounting field and remained in the same career for over 35 years. I did not have the desire to travel the world so I remained in Tidewater. My career began as an accountant responsible for payroll and accounts payable at a hospital, then went into banking. From there, I entered government accounting and finance. Over the years, I was promoted from staff accountant to manager, then director of financial reporting at Tidewater Community College (TCC). Interestingly, I came across my mom’s college yearbook. She attended Teachers College of Connecticut (TCC). My mom began her teaching career in college, and I ended my career while working in higher education. What a coincidence! My need for perfection is causing stress and anxiety since I’m having difficulties. Even though I followed the TPS1 autoflower weekly recommendations, I still overfed. This caused nutrient lock out for which I flushed with no nutrients for 3 weeks. Once I resumed 1/4-1/2 strength the required solution, I started seeing new white pistils in the existing buds. Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. One study found that acute, high-dose UV-B had a greater effect on genome stability than chronic, low-dose exposure. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.
