🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 5 From Seed (12/12 Run) Hello everyone, welcome to another update, and a big thank you to everyone following along, newcomers, longtime readers, sponsors, platform, and of course the breeders and creators behind these genetics. It truly means a lot to share this journey together. For those just joining: this is a 12/12 from seed run, approached gently and observationally. No rush, no aggression, just letting the plants express themselves while we listen closely. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Room Conditions • Temperature: 21°C • Relative Humidity: ~58% • Outside conditions: 4–5°C with 90–98% RH Given what’s happening outside, I’m actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. The plants seem to agree, posture, color, and overall vigor are excellent. • CO₂: ~666 ppm For now, this is perfectly fine. No need to push or supplement — steady and natural. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy (Top + Under Canopy) At the start of the week: • Only top lights are running • Power: 100% • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) As the plants stretch and rise above the under-canopy fixtures, we’re now introducing under-canopy lighting: • Lumiflora under-canopy lights • Starting at 30% power This is very intentional. The goal isn’t to blast the plants, but to teach them that light and photons will be arriving from more than one direction. We want a gentle adaptation — letting the plant reorganize how it uses light rather than forcing it. Power will be increased later, but right now it’s all about adjustment, not intensity. ⸻ 🌿 Training Approach (or lack of it) Because this is a 12/12 from seed run, we are being extremely conservative. • No topping • No hard training • No defoliation The only work being done: • Leaf tucking • Gentle leaf bending And the response has been incredible. These girls are reacting with: • Tight internodes • Bushy structure • Calm, confident growth Sometimes, truly, less touch = better performance. ⸻ 🌱 The Triple-Branching Lady (Main Focus of the Week) This week’s highlight is one very special plant showing clear triple branching. At each node, instead of the usual two shoots, she’s producing three distinct branches, stacking from the bottom all the way up. The structure almost looks like she’s tucking herself naturally, creating a dense but elegant framework. This is not something we forced. It’s purely genetic expression meeting the right conditions. She looks happy. She looks calm. And she looks like she’s planning something special. We’ll be doing a dedicated report on her by the end of the week, because this kind of morphology deserves proper documentation. ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition Strategy Water Source We’re using a mix of: • Rainwater • Dehumidifier-collected water This water is extremely soft, so this week we introduced something new: ➕ CalMag Pro Not because the plants were asking — but thinking ahead. Before adding nutrition, we want a proper mineral foundation. This helps stabilize uptake and prevents issues before they even show up. Aside from that: • No changes to the main recipe • Everything remains steady and predictable ⸻

All strains grew easy enough and didnt give me any problems from start to finish, smells lovely in my tent really excited to try them once they are ready. Day 74 - still growing, but not looking as healthy as I'd like. Leaves are curling downwards at the tips, and tips turning yellow/brown. I think this is a one of the classic signs of overwatering and over feeding, so have cut back nutes and watering, and will re-assess next week whether or not to go back to old schedule. Have also diluted the reservoir, so oping that a slow gradual easing will sort things out. She also looks quite stunted in growth to me - she's all of 50cm tall. The RQS data sheet advises 80 - 120, but she has been in the RQS Royal Dwarfs shadow, so perhaps needed more of the light earlier on. I was warned about overuse of the PK nute and am think I've learnt my lesson here. Fingers crossed all will be fine. On the up side, she's defintely flowering. Day 75 - might be wishful thinking, but tip curling seems to have been brought under control and looks to be recovering. Phew. Day 77 - definitely wishful thinking. Did some readings, and found ph has leapt up to 6.67, and ppm at around 2500. will ph down a little later, and continue to monitor.

hey guys so my welsh brother sent me some daffodil seeds called FTB1 from the Fast Buds company, and if i'm honest with you i'm so happy to be growing next year's autos, always been a dream of mine to grow the unreleased genetics, let's see if they sprout, i'm a bit nervous because they came unwrapped in the mail you know ... let's see. alright so first thing that happened is my propagator broke so i had to fix it up best i could with some cling film then threw it in the bathroom in the sink basically lol, day one many of the non test gens cracked and were growing, and fbt1 didnt yet, and i was like oh well, it was a long shot, it came loose in the mail, and it breaks my heart. Day 2 it had cracked and day 3 it had shot through the cube, check out the cookies week you can see the root sticking out from the bottom already, in the end it's definitely some strong gens and i cant wait to see it grow !

Seedsman White Widow is starting to get huge! I overdosed her with Recharge this week, (1 tbs instead of .5 tsp). She liked it! I'll be OD'ing the Recharge more in the future. 👍

Dam these two have just blown my mind in terms of ability to handle stress and environmental changes . The platinum bananas is the best looking plant so far the healthiest look and vibe , the ripper is also doing very well and looking very bright green and strong smell.. I'm going crazy till next week and can't wait for that flower time ..cheers

First 12 hour dark period begins at 5 a.m. on the morning of 04/26. I would say 70-75% of the first screen has been filled. ½ strength nutrient feeding today. All but one plant is starting to grow pistils. These plants are getting a little out of control being cramped in this 4x4. I defoliated just before flipping to flower, and they needed another touch-up. I'm a little worried this will cause me to have to do frequent touch-ups or kill one or two plants and create some space. I'm leaning more toward killing 1 or 2 plants, rather than risk all of them getting overly stressed from too many defoliations. I completely underestimated how much these Cannabis plants would grow, especially once they started to stretch. I'm going to start saving the water that is collected through the dehumidifier.
