Poor Skunk Apple really is the runt of the litter. I think we can blame my rookie mistake of giving it a gallon of water that was way too strong. It's been struggling to recover ever since. Hopefully this little guy will catch up eventually, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet! I can't believe how much my plants have grown during this stretch! It's like they've been on some serious plant steroids. They've all at least doubled in size, some of them even more. I have a hard time with overwatering, especially now that it's harder to let them dry out. I just don't know if I'm damaging the roots with all this growth.

I had a fun experience growing this strain. She started out strong and finished pretty strong! The buds are covered in THC and smells sweet. The only thing I would really do better next time is trying not to nutrient burn her as much as I did towards the end. I also experimented with harvest time and came to the conclusion that the it's best to harvest a few weeks after their recommended time if you want denser buds (in my opinion). I do wish the buds were a bit more dense but I'm not a pro grower and that could be the reason for that. It's all a learning experience. It could be the strain because I'm going a Gorilla Cookies (FastBuds) and those buds are huge and don't have as many leaves. Overall I'm blessed with the outcome and I'm going to enjoy the perfectly dried buds soon :D I hope you all enjoy the little videos and music! haha I've only grown one plant before this which resulted in less than an eighth of bud so I'm beyond happy to say the least lol Let me know if you have any questions regarding growing and for some possible tips! Well, I am not so afraid of heavy defoliation any more. 😁 I can already see the benefits. I do have to be careful when reaching in to apply bondage or make adjustments. I unfortunately lost some buds. This speaks to early training, and earlier pruning. I will plan to have better access to each branch. No mold, roots are happy. The smell in there is spicy floral and dank, almost rotten. My filter is old, and not suited for the high cfm needed to keep the heat down. My ONA bucket is also a bit old. I will have to give that room a periodic ozone blast.

The plant continues to progress steadily and looks very healthy overall. Buds are stacking nicely across the canopy, with clear increases in density compared to last week. The beautiful pink coloration is spreading further down the plant and becoming more pronounced. Aroma is intensifying day by day, now strongly reminiscent of sweet apricot jam and very pungent.

The one in the middle is struggling a little, but I'll just keep it and see how it turns

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

There getting thirsty watered every 2 days last week twice with nutes and once with phd water with molasses coming up in week four Sunday I will do one last defoliation after that I will only pluck leaves that are blocking bud sites !!! Really healthy. I've mixed it up with ripen a bit. I know its only for the last few days, but I'm trying something out, it suits my growing style, I know what it does. So I've lowered the PPM to 480 on this water change, I've cut the bloom down to 1/3 .33 and I've matched ripen ml/ml .33 and to keep some N in the mix I added half of the bloom boosters. So mixing them like this works out a really good NPK ratio. I reckon 2-5-5. I've changed the water, haven't added any H2o2 yet, as it's not needed and it'll only attack my roots, it's been a learning experience with h2o2 but I think I'm getting close to getting a better grips of how bacteria works. I adjust the PH 2-3 times a day, I won't need to today as I've only changed the water so should get 40hrs or so out of it. I'll have to add H2o2 tomorrow. Water temps will jump up to 26c before lights go out tonight. So I should be fine till tomorrow. I haven't had to do much but just keep a eye on the water, watch for slime, I know the smell of rot and root water now, both a foul but rot water is unmistakable. My roots are very weak, I'm afraid to add silica at this point because of what hit my other DWC I do not know. All I know it had silica in the water. So, I've pult back off it and the h2o2 has taken a beaten on my roots. But I'm learning and the degradation is a lot less, and to be able to grow a healthy plant at 27c water is just amazing I think. And I know no hydroguard wouldn't keep the rot away at that temps. The roots are black now just because of the PH + adjuster has turned them that way but they are healthy and so is the plant. She has her old wounds of course and I could get rid of all them leafs to show a 100% healthy looking plant but if I were to do that, I'd have to remove 20% of the leafs and the top is already very thin on leaf growth. Just going to keep a close eye on her and try get her over the next 20days. The buds are getting so heavy branches are having real trouble keeping themselves up. I've had to keep tucking them behind stronger nodes. The buds aren't big and have long colas like my soil mainline but these buds are smaller but still big stand alone buds that are rock hard and have very little trim. She's extremely frosty. I had a little taste of her, she was sadly very disappointing. DWC definitely needs to be cleaned. All I could taste was nutrients. Very hard to get a taste of the weed, that I know is there, I got super high of it, but was super harsh, I know chemical cough when I smoke it.
