Big mistake I made with lightning , which made this strain suffer a lot. Inderlit buds lead to larf, will reduce that next time. I didn’t really weight it, it’s going for hash, but left at least 100g as flower.

03.05.21 hab heute morgen die Pflanzen alle einmal durch gespült mit klarem Wasser ohne irgendwas natürlich Ph eingestellt auf 6,5 hoffe das das mein Problem behebt mal sehen wie sich die Ladys die Woche so schlagen. Werde dann wenn alles gut läuft mit halber dosis green sensation weiter fahren sowie ca halber dosis sugar royal, blüte dünger fällt erstmal weg bis aufs erste...... 04.05.21 heut stand nix an ausser beobachten der Ladys Töpfe sind noch gut feucht vom spülen hab fast 65% rh im Zelt In der Nacht ist nicht so toll aber muss ich durch Wetter ist auch beschissen was dem ganzen auch noch zu steuert zum kotzen...... 05.05.21 die Pflanze scheinen sich einigermaßen von der überdüngung zu erholen, ich hab das gefühl das die blüte weiter an schwillt auf der linken Seite. Gelato # 1,2 und 3 sind jetzt auch seid gestern dabei ihre stigmas in caramel zu verwandeln. Kann es kaum noch erwarten zu spülen und dann in den Endspurt zu kommen aber bis dahin sind noch ein paar Wochen..... 06.05.21 heute stand mal wieder nix an ausser mich an meinem Ergebnis bis jetzt zu erfreuen hab mir auch heute schon mal Gedanken für die nächste Runde gemacht werde wohl beim nächsten Grow mal nur mainlaining machen ohne netzt ach ja und es wird auf den Wunsch meiner Frau 4x purps og die Kaffee caramel lady.... 07.05.21 heute stand mal Die erste terp Kontrolle bei gelato 41 #2 an und siehe da es sind schon einige milchig dazwischen aber noch nix bernstein würde schätzen das ca 60% milchig sind und 40% noch durchsichtig also noch zeit bis zur Spülung hab mir heute gedacht ich zeige mal die Höhe der buds im Durchschnitt linke Seite ca 20 cm rechte Seite ca 10 cm der Geruch der Ladys ist eigendlich garnicht so typisch stechen nach Cannabis solange ich die Ladys nicht bewege sprich gegen die röhre vom Netz komme das bisschen wackeln am netzt lässt sie sofort stinken wie ein stinktier als würde sie versuchen mich zu vertreiben oder meine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich ziehen...... 08.05.21 heute stand auch wieder mal nur das beobachten und begutachten der buds an ich kontrolliere fast täglich auf schimmel und dieser Geruch ist einfach traumhaft heute hat er mich dazu verleitet zum Eis laden zu gehen und mir erstmal Haus gemachtes Eis zu kaufen ich werd noch fett wegen der Sorte dieser Duft macht hungrig auf süßes....... 09.05.21 endlich wieder eine Woche rum kann es kaum noch erwarten zur Spülung zu kommen dann kann ich endlich einen genauen Zeitpunkt für den cut festlegen und mich neu sortieren für die nächste Runde gibt so eine schöne Aussage die ich in meinem grow Buch gelesen habe "kiffen macht nicht süchtig, growen aber schon" ich persönlich empfinde es ganau so. Ich bin schon richtig Heiss darauf neu zu beginnen, während meine Frau einfach nur Heiss aufs Endprodukt ist.....

Not much to report, DS1 is the bigger of the two, both smell nice, very frosty and lots of purple. Will update in 7-10 days with initial smoke report and dry weight. Smell has really started to increase this week! The buds are starting to form and spiral up! Its been glorious! Humidity has still been fairly high but it hasn't gone over 60 so its slowly getting better even after watering! Up to 2g per gal of booster on feed days, no signs or burn. Getting pretty excited I think 2-3 more weeks!

I am a little bit worried it’s going too slow (compared to reference grows from other diaries), but patience is hard and there’s still 3 to 4 weeks of flowering to be done. The breeder advises 7 to 8 weeks, which is a bit optimistic, but they also advise 9 weeks for optimal taste and a smoother effect. The girls still grew a bit vertically, so even 5 weeks into flower, they aren’t fully focused on the development of the buds. Maybe this week, some serious XL bud stacking will take place 😊. I had some problems this week with heat and humidity. For two days, temperatures were at 28 degrees with lights on; a bit too high, but nothing extreme. More problematic was RH: it oscillated a lot between 45 and 60% during lights on and peaked at 70% with lights off. There will be some dry weather the days ahead, so RH will probably stabilize around 50% the following days. Nevertheless, I increased the power of both fans and the exhaust to the max, so there’s more than enough airflow throughout the whole tent. I did some slight defoliation, but nothing extreme. I don’t want to stress them out in this phase and cause them to herm. Hence, I took away max. 2 leaves per plant per day and only when tucking away wasn’t possible. The run off EC is at 2.0-2.1, while 1.8 (close to 1.9) is going in. pH of the runoff is around 5.9, except Iris’ run off, that one is always at 5.5. Hopefully, I will see some classical XL buds building up this week and head on for a nice harvest. Thanks for reading, stay safe and happy growing!

My experience overall can be best described as an interesting enlightening process. Since it was my first time growing it was definitely a learning experience. From the height being as tall as it was to the high winds in the area making it difficult to keep them from toppling when the buds were reaching full maturity. Thinking it would have benefited from more topping than just the once. The terps that this strain has are exquisite!! I am going to miss walking by them towering over me and just breathing in their berry cream aroma, taking in the sweetness like I had just had some dessert. Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule.
