Hello Diary, The first week of flowering is behind me and as you can see in the photos, the Medusas are developing very quickly. The flowers have formed and now the flowering begins. Trichomes appeared around the flowers on the leaves, which is a great sign for this stage of the plant. What you can see is that the plants differ slightly in structure, one is taller with fewer leaves and a more sprawling structure, while the other is more of a bush shape with lots of leaves. In the description of this strain, they should be equal in structure, which is not the case, at least for me. I removed the humidifier so that the humidity in the air dropped to about 50% and the temperature rose to about 24 degrees. Watering has become a little more frequent, which is to be expected given the size of the plants. Here's what it looked like last week. 18/02/2023 - Day 25. Watering. I prepared 5 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and watered both plants with that amount. 21/02/2023 - Day 28. Photographing and height measurement. The ladies are thriving! We're deep into flower now and the buds are really starting to fatten up nicely, I removed the first yellow leafs. Trichome production is in full swing, and the aroma is getting more intense each day. Still following the BioBizz feeding schedule and the plants are responding beautifully no signs of stress or deficiencies. Looking forward to the final stretch! 👀

03/13/2021 Side branches are developing nice, I may do a little more lst to help lower tops to catch up before flowering starts Ps. Couple videos uploaded Day #6 doing some bending, and broke a branch off so I dipped in rooting powder,threw it in some vermiculite soaked with Bonide Garden Rich Root & Grow 4-10-3 with (IBA) Lets see if she will root! Fingers crossed🙏

Alright all, it's been awhile since I've been able to update so I have a couple weeks to catch up on. Unfortunately my cheap phone was having issues last week and I had to do a deep clean and got rid of some photos, photos I though I'd uploaded to my drive that I actually hadn't. I seriously could have kicked myself. But thankfully I at least have a video instead of nothing. So on August 1st I got some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a mushroom farmer down the road. I crumbled the blocks around the base of each plant and watered them in. The purpose of putting the blocks down is that they still have live mycelium in them, and the mycelium creates a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant and it's root structure. The cannabis roots can only take up so much surface area, but the mycelium can take up the space the roots do not and form a network where in exchange for sugars the mycelium will provide nutrients for the cannabis plants. Also, watering with the molasses gives the mycelium the sugars it wants. I'm sorry I don't have more pictures, I wasn't even thinking when I was cleaning up my phone because I was so frustrated with it (there's a reason LG stopped making phones recently). It's just been wayyyyyyyy more busy than I expected or wanted it to and I've had hardly any time in the garden. It's all this rain! Last year I was complaining about how there wasn't enough rain, now this year there's plenty of it. When I'm not doing Garden stuff I'm working part time with my husband doing landscaping and tree work, which includes mowing lawns. Last year with the drought we were mowing lawns maybe every 2 weeks. This year it's every 4-5 days. It's crazy.

This poor, sad little girl. I feel bad for neglecting her earlier on. But hopefully she will live up to her namesake and persevere! (I guess it is a little messed up that the strain is Widow Remedy and I killed both of her husbands😕) Anyway... So bugs suck, and I sprayed with some neem oil and put out a sticky trap. Fertilized with some of the Coast of Maine and watered it in with some lime water. Heat wave is moving through right now, I hope she likes it hot😎 Forgive my slurred speech in the video, it's been a long week and my brain is addled😜

Pretty happy so far, kept EC the same as there was a slight tip burn when I tried to up the nutrients.

Another week almost over, the girls are beautiful and smell great. Apparently everything is under control, I'm really looking forward to the results. Happy growing! 🌱🌱🌱
