Welcome to my RQS Roya Gorilla Auto diary Weather is very cold and a lot of rain, so she's on survival in my outdoor tent Flowering would set, but i think it was too cold. so... let's hope for better weather

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. I realized there may have been a bit of a light leak in the late morning. I taped everything up more. In the future I want to maintain better reflective integrity on the inside of the tent. Everything looks good. The buds are still growing a little taller and filling out. The CBD Blue Shark is super frosty. It's actually absurd. Orange hairs are coming out in all plants. I was hoping to be able to keep the exhaust window open overnight to let the overnight temps drop 10 degrees to encourage the purples in the WC genetics, but it's too humid now to have the window open without the grow light on. Otherwise the rh goes up to 70% overnight and it's not worth the risk. Next year I'll flip earlier when it's still colder and drier out for the harvest window. This flowering period has been really cool. I've really been noticing the process of flowering. The calyxes open up and turn into pistils and sugar leaves, and more keep appearing and popping every day. It's awesome. March 04 watered again with straight water. They're finally drinking more than once a week! The pistils seem more red today than yesterday. I got a $30 micro camera to check trichromes, they all seem clear for now (there is some glare in the pics). No amber for now at least. March 05 found some amber trichromes March 06 lots of leaves are going yellow. We're definitely in the home stretch. March 06 I've been a little worried about the size of the colas. There's not much sticking out past the canopy. I've also noticed a bunch of new leaves that have started popping out and I was a little worried that the buds were foxtailing or herming. I've had temps go up to 30 a couple times in the morning before I open the window. But it seems that the buds are filling out more and getting fatter, not just foxtailing, and I think they're getting ready for one last push, not just getting full of leaves for no reason. It changes a lot every day. Tomorrow is the 23rd week of the grow. I switched the lights on a Thursday so this Thursday will mark 8 weeks of flowering time and the beginning of my harvest window (8-9 weeks for both strains).

This plant is my first real plant because the first one had a genetic mutation coming from the seed because I gave it exactly the same conditions as this one and therefore I will consider this plant as my first plant. I am very proud of myself to have obtained such a yield (188g wet) with very few problems during the culture of this Steacky Beast Automatic from Zamnesia. This plant resisted very well to a nitrogen deficiency due to a too high ph because of my ph metter which was out of order but also to a small burn to the nutrient. I started rinsing on day 54 (it lasted 2 weeks and a half). I couldn't put you pictures of the trichomes but they were perfect for the harvest and the pistils were also matching so here is why I waited until day 73 The heads are hung in the culture box with brown soft ties (I removed everything except the extractor and the filter), the box is plunged in the dark so it's perfect for drying Thank you for your interest in my growing diary! ***** Week 7 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 43 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 44 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - side branching doing very well on Candyland girls. Jan 18/21, Day 45 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 46 Veg - measured the girls today and Candyland1 is 14” tall and CL2 is 13” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. Jan 20/21, Day 47 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 48 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 49 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on reducing the small stresses they seem to be experiencing more next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week.

Hoy fue la peor semana del cultivo y de mi experiencia cultivando, siendo el tercer día de la semana 5 se me desprendió el ventilador en el indoor y se me cae sobre una planta quebrando la punta principal (blue moby). día siguiente queriendo doblar el tallo principal lo arranque literal, ahora está en un mal estado, en comparación a la blue moby que recupero. Leo criticas y concejos! Bh

Esta semana ya estamos en plena floración, así que eliminamos Bio Vega y doblamos la dosis de Bio Flores. Realizamos una segunda poda baja de toda la sala. La potencia de las luminarias LazerLite Pro 720w la ajustamos al 100%. En fase nocturna no conectamos los calefactores, ya que queremos que pasen algo de frío controlado.

🔄 Looking back: Mimosa Evo #3 (Day 0 of flower) is still doing well overall, but continues to show signs of overfeeding 🚫 She doesn't seem very hungry, so I’ll lower the EC further – aiming for around 0.8 or maybe even 0.7. 🕒 Flowering begins: This week I flipped Mimosa Evo #3 to 12/12! Stretch is just around the corner 🌿📏 Really curious to see how much she'll take off in the next days – it’s getting exciting now!

Training still going well. Top is pretty even with some slower lower branches I may remove. Have a mite problem so I introduced 5 ladybugs that immediately went to work on the soil and leaves. Watering when dry but may end up transplanting into new soil if the bugs keep on bugging. Continued training a bit and decided to defoliate and take off some of the lower branches lacking growth. Continuing to water when dry while preparing to add more nutrients for flower production. Hoping she takes it well!

Love this 1st grow. Even though its small. Hope I got good weight out of this. Smells great whenever I open my cupboard. Cant wait for my next grow green gelato auto. 😁

I didn't use the Bio-Grow and Bio-Bloom the whole week because of slight nutrient burn in the tips of the leaves on the upper part of the plant. I asked on a forum (grower.ch) what it might be, and they said it probably is too much potassium. I really do hope it will get better with time, but right now it has gotten a little bit worse, although it still is a minor inconvenience. I really thought that it is very hard to feed too many nutrients with biological fertilizer, but I had not thought about the soil. It seems that the prefertilized soil must be the problem here. Next week, I'll use just the Bio-Bloom at 50% of the recommendation and won't use Bio-Grow anymore. I do hope that it won't get worse. She is in bloom and needs nutrients. There seems to be a little lack of them since one leaf on the bottom is turning slightly yellow, so she is redistributing nutrients. I need to look for new soil, and also I'm going to change my approach to fertilizing in the upcoming grow. Other than that, she is now too tall with her 118 cm to keep her on my window, so she hasn't and won't see the real sun again. She got a lot more buds this week, and I really enjoy looking at her beautiful flowers. She has a very nice and sweet smell too. I am really thinking about setting up the grow tent in my apartment and not in my basement, just to take a look at how the plants are doing. I love plants, always have, but cannabis is just the most fascinating one.

Happy 4/20 all... Still on auto pilot. I've made very few changes this week. Process/Environment changes: -turned one of my ts1000s down after chopping my cheese auto.. it wasn't needed as much and it helped cool down my tent around 2 degrees Celsius. - humidity is set between 45- 55 percent. (45 lights off, 55 lights on) - rotating each plant in the tent so they they can get even light coverage I'm going to do a trichome check on Saturday. They are both pretty much close to being finished at 62 days post germination. Both have heavy trichome production Both smell very sweet
