Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Another uneventful week.Daphne continues to bud and no issues with the Chamber. pH is staying steady @ 6.5 for now. Humidity continues to stay in low 40's and she is starting to acquire a very nice scent. Hopefully another two weeks on nutrients then a third week of no nutrients then hopefully a completed harvest.

20cm vertical growth in a week. The plant is huge, well it is in my limited experience. If I only had a bigger tent.....Was it the change to a 35l pot? Possibly... Flower nutrients started at 1/8 recommended photo period quantity. Will ramp up week by week to 1/2. This is by far the best growing plant I've had, not a bad problem but I've only got 4 inches adjustment left on the grow light for the rest of the grow. Onward and hopefully not so upward.

Bought the seeds few months ago. From Europe. Take 5 hour to reidratate. Once drowned moved in the pallet. So happy to start growing again! At the 5th day grow 3cm up. Amazing

Primera semana de floracion, 7 dias, ciclo de luz 1212 y ya veo los primeros pelitos. Empiezo a agregar pastillas easy to bloom, de Royal Queen a 2/3 de la dosis indicada por el fabricante, al bajar el PH con las pastillas agregro PH + y Ata Clean para mantener limpio el autopot, aunque se lo hecho en el riego a todas las plantas y les va bien. Las he ido doblando las colas mas largas para equilibrarlas en altura, aunque no hizo mucha falta, quite un par de hojas muy grandes y le aplique el ultimo tratamiento de prevencion con jabon fosforico e insecticida natural de aceite de Neem, por cierto, ha venido muy bien, 0 bichos. Quiza le aplique en un par de semanas cola de caballo para prevenir hongos.

What a week my buddy growers! What a week! The dogs literally ate my homework!😳 I understand that they are German shepards and got K-9 insitinct in their blood...but what the fuck!😱 Both my gelato & Nothern got dig out of the ground, leaving me with little hope...plus I had to build a shelter before this happend due to strong wind! But fast buds really has a kick ass genetic very resistent to all factors, and beside all she doing well!💪 As nutrients I added bio-tabs Pk-Bio and boom boom spray for all the stress she got. Love to all😘

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

Not much to say other than my inline fan fell and took with it everything on the cross pole in the tent-- that means both lights and all the cables-- and fell on top of all my plants 😂 I have to laugh now because otherwise I'll cry. The plant in flower is effed; crispy buds and the strangest burn marks, several broken stems that may or may not bend. This lil one though got away almost Scot free. Almost.

Harvested around 1 week ago, slowly drying with around 22° and 60% humidity. N2 the frostiest from the start but no smell at all, another 2 are quite stinky. N3 got some nice colours .I definitely prefer Opium auto.

Removed nearly all big fan leafs to get maximum of light penetration to the lower buds and more airflow to prevent mold. Should have weared gloves because it was a sticky mess :D getting more and more smell. I think i will start filling up the bucket only with clear water for one or two more weeks to flush. Think its harvest time soon. Eventually i will swap the whole solution to clear water coming week. ——————— Nahezu alle großen Blätter entfernt, um den unteren buds so viel Licht wie möglich zu geben. Hätte Handschuhe tragen sollen war auf jeden Fall ne klebrige Sauerei :D Stinkt jetzt langsam auch ordentlich die Pflanze. Denke ich werde die nächsten Wochen nur noch mit klarem Wasser ohne Nährstoffe auffüllen um ein bisschen zu spülen. Denke in ein bis zwei Wochen kann geerntet werden. Eventuell tausche ich auch die ganze Nährlösung gegen klares Wasser aus im Laufe der Woche.

Week 13 (04/07 - 10/07) 06/04 Chopped her today, planned to keep her going until end of this week but needed space in flowering tent She is smelling real good Couple branches found some leaves with spider mites She foxtailed quite a bit on the top due to her being too close too LED, couldn't get it higher

Foliar sprayed them with DIY uber hi-q by mixing fat soluble vitamin c with ro to protect terps from oxidation...supposedly. Trying to purp them with cold mornings and 10/14. Kush mints is frosty white, juicy c and bubba d similar because both share triangle kush, both smell so good. The jasmonate foliar is no joke i think it works and just like other anecdotes seems to increase limonene scents and bubba diagonal tastes light lemon n kushy sweet mmmmmm. Very potent even for me. Made me diagonal.
