Hey now, so this week went very well, I topped one of them for the last time on day 22,, and I wanted to top again but I started seeing some white pistils so I decided not to. I am now feeding 3 times per day with a total EC of 1.4 I am giving .4 to Cal Mag and 1.0 to Maxi Gro. I am also utilizing LST to try and keep an even canopy. I felt like my last grow produced far too many fluffy buds, so I am trying to focus on fewer bud sites, and denser colas. I am also testing the runoff and I am getting readings of 1.5 to 1.6 so I am good with that. Thanks for checking out my diary, be safe and blaze on!

This week has gone great! At the beginning of the week we flushed the remaining Fox farm nutrients we had been using before with Sledgehammer. After we treated with an organic compost tea brewed by our local hydroponic shop. We started with the Cyco Platinum Series this week. It’s still a bit early to tell but we will see how this nutrient line performs. I am very optimistic. As you may be able to tell I have a reservoir with coco coir mix on top with a drip irrigation system. I’m going to be trying out this system and an ebb and flow system in the upcoming weeks. I’m looking to maximize quality and quantity and believe these two system offer some of the best results. We look forward to starting that project! As for the lady she is looking extremely healthy. She is recovering well from being topped and lst. We’re going to let her grow up a bit now and stretch her out across the first trellis. My experience says this should be in 2-3 weeks and the. We will let her grow up through the second trellis. All in all I believe I’m looking at a 7-10 week veg. My goal is to shoot for a minimum of 1.3lbs from one plant. Gave each medium around 15L water flushing, Will continue to give only water for the next 14 days or so. Flush began 30tht August.

How the time has flown by. She completes her flush this week and will start her dry, Sticky, smelly and buds are thick. Extremely happy with how she handled these last few weeks! Excited to taste her.

the race continues. at the moment both are still on a par. a good 5 cm in growth. there is currently a lot of sunshine and really good temperatures. apart from that, not much has happened yet.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Day 36 - Starting week 6 and she’s coming along nicely. Pistils are just starting to show so hopefully she’s be going into full flower in a week or two. This one is definitely a late bloomer but looking like I’m not gonna need flip to 12-12 to get her started. Day 37 - She’s still doing some stretching right now and has a few more pistils showing so I’m happy about that. She’s definitely getting light on the water so will probably give her a good drink and feeding tomorrow. Tucked a few leaves and letting her go for the night. Day 38 - Decided to hold off on watering and feeding for another day or two. She still didn’t seem quite dry enough to don’t want to push it. Re-tucked some leaves and will check things out tomorrow. Day 39 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today and she’s still stretching. Not much of buds forming yet but still tossing a few pistils out. I’m hoping she’s start throwing out some more or I might have to switch to 12-12. I thought I wasn’t going to have to but if she doesn’t start really preflowering by next week, I might have to. Day 40 - Went ahead and turned my second light on in the tent to try and get the temp up just a bit and it did the trick. I think this one is liking the other light cause I noticed quite a bit more pistils so again, I think I’m not gonna have to worry about flipping to 12-12. Tied a couple other branches down and out and opened her up a bit more. Day 41 - She’s looking great and really taking off now. Pistils are still showing and she’s stretching close to a half an inch every 24 hours. I did remove a few fan leaves and all the new branches I tied down are standing tall again. Will give her some water and nutes on Tuesday. Day 42 - The end of week 6 and she’s doing great. Nothing else new to report and just updating some pictures. She’ll get some water and nutes tomorrow.

Last week, instead of 2 g of GHSC Powder Feeding, I only gave 1.5 g p l of substrate so that I can give you another 1 g per l of substrate next week so that it lasts until the end :-). It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-). The bottom shoots have now also been removed :-). As always, the humidifier was refilled every day and the lady was checked for her health. I hope you enjoy the update. Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

I would believe this variety again ... I think it could be better ... and do not make some mistakes in it ... I recommend it to all growers ...
