Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

Day 21 of flowering more defoliation. Added 7 tablespoons of rock phosphate to each container. House is starting to smell like fruit infused gasoline despite the two carbon filters and Ona gel all over the place.

Week 6 — ride with me till bloom, these buds ’bout to get thicc

Just did the switch to 12/12. Decided not to scrog. It’s my first time not scrogging. I have been training them a bit. One of the plants has been abused by me a bit. It didn’t love being topped. Not sure but it grew very bushy and I’ve been working hard on it. Using it as a bit of an experiment.

Así, que lo que no quería hacer, lo he hecho he metido a tope de nutrientes y más... Espero no liarla más...

OK, So I'm into final 14days and started Flushing them on water. So every 3days I will change the water until 14days are up. Then I can begin to harvest and hang finally lol. It's been alot to learn and take on board this run I am jist hoping the final product is as beautiful as she smells and looks. I do not there is still growth spouting and hair that are still white. However I am assuming that another 14days will be sufficient and that all hair would have turned Amber. Speak soon. Peace and love growmies. ❤️

Week 7 Flower Let the Flush commence! 💦 Both girls started flush on Day 41. Twin2 is definitely finishing sooner than Twin1, but as they've both been tested the same, they'll both be taken down on the same day after a 14+ day flush. We're having a rise in heat in my area so it's interesting to see how each pheno reacts. Twin2 seems to be showing slightly more heat stress, by shooting a few fox tails, but at this size it's only a good thing 😉 I've also only just found a new trait being expressed on both twins, but much more consistently on Twin1, and that's the double serrated leaves you can see in the photo's. It doesn't mean or affect anything, it just a cool trait 🍁 I run approx 30+ltr water through each pot each time they're flushed. Before doing so I check the ppm and pH value of the run off from each pot and take records. To do this, I gently pour a few litres in the centre of the pot until a sufficient amount has drained into the tray below. This can then be tested with your TDS/EC pen and pH pen. I still use Activated EM1 (EMA) throughout flush at 1ml/ltr because microbes are always a benefit. Once stretched/activated it goes a very long way so if I don't use it throughout flush, then it may go over it's 6-8week shelf life. They're both looking great and still filling up. Both twins are coated in trichomes and have their own distinctive smells. They both smell very floral; Twin2 smells a lot sweeter, but Twin1 has a more earthy, almost gassy kind of smell to her that's just as nice. De un día al otro han aparecido unas moscas muy pequeñas que leyendo un poco se tratan de pulgones, en la gran mayoría de cogollos estaban pegados .He quitado a la gran mayoría, y para prevenir que se sigan expandiendo prepare un remedio casero con jabón blanco, y realice una aplicación en toda la planta,(al menos lo que note es que no han aparecido más, pero a la planta les quedaron las hojas un poco blancas).

They are getting bigger and now they’re blooming 🥦💚

They are going slow but steady. Holding back on watering to help fight the gnats. They were with too many last week. Some yellow points because of an 'on the limit' foliar feed. Nothing to worry about. Still very lush greens. I'm thinking the main reason for their slower growth, is the fan that is on high. My mission from the start s to get thick stalks and branches, to facilitate larger buds. Also, I'm pushing the SP 3000 to its max for the age of my plants, they don't have to reach for the light, resulting in shorter, bushier plants. I don't mind, I think the flowering stretch will make up for that and fill the tent. Still very happy with the SP-3000 from Mars Hydro, a much more constant and manageable climate in the tent, a dream to work with. I made a thank you video for @MarsHydroLED, of course, to also show off my music. I'm thinking one or two more weeks before resetting the light schedule for flowering. The lemon pie has sum stuff going on not sure if I under-watered her a little bit I did wait 4 days to water that one but I thought the soil was still good until I picked it up and it was light as a feather so I gave a cup of Ayer maybe a littler more and had I slight VPD problem I think it was 84 with like 50% humidity I added a second fan today it bounced up to 65% at 82 degrees! Please help am I over thinking or is this something bigger
