5/14: A ended up falling over so I decided to move the dirt around and see what I could see with respect to its root structure. It had one very long, extremely thin dried out root that extended about 2-3 inches and ended in a little tangled up taproot. There was a little worm/nematode/larvae something crawling around in it. I attached video. I'm assuming I need to dump all my water and sterilize, re-ph, etc. Everything is already watered for tonight (should have pulled A first in hindsight) so too late to do anything about the other 2 plants, though they do look pretty healthy still. --------------------- 5/13: Transplanted E into her pot this morning. Same soil mix (3 parts FFOF to 1 part perlite). Seedling C is crushing it, with second set of leaves already forming. E is probably going to go quiet for a day or 2 while it recovers from transplanting. Seedling A looks like it might be overwatered? It feels pretty frail compared to the other 2 plants and the downward curl of the leaves I think suggest too much H20. Will be letting them dry out a bit today. Also, turned up the lamp to 600W and moved it to about 24 inches from the tops. Temperatures are consistently 74-77F and RH holding right around 50%. Still no nutrients. I plan to add them around week 3, unless I see signs they need it sooner. -------------- Out of 5 seeds we started, A, C, and E remain. E a few days behind A and C but growing faster. Planted A and C in FFOF/Perlite 3/1 about 4 gallons total in a 5 gallon bucket. Will do the same for E in a couple days. Moved the light up a bit to account for the buckets. Water ph'd to just about 6.0. Light still on 250W but will be moving up to 400W when they wake up later today. Will go to 600W once all are in pots and at a relatively uniform height. Currently just trying to keep the RH close to 70 and the air temp less than 80. No nutrients for 3-4 weeks unless they look hungry, since FFOF has quite a bit in it to begin with. If not for me killing seed B and seed D never germinating, I'd say we're off to an OK start. The 3 that are growing, seem to be growing extremely well. I put together my own ScrOG that I will install once the light is out of the way, and plan to top these a few times each and LST. I was hoping to have 4 plants to fill the space but we will do our best with 3.

Another week done. She's pretty much on autopilot. Still got quite a few weeks left though, must be very Sativa dominant 💪

Week 2 plans are to water when dry between 6.2-6.6 PH, as nutrients are organic slow release. Plan is to also keep light height around 36" to allow some plant stretching. Environment 50-55 RH, temps around 23C. Making sure to water bottom of fabric pots to encourage lower soil to be moist for root development. Update pictures as week goes along, ladies seem happy so far.

Ich besorge demnächst SF-Nematode und gelbe Tafeln gegen die Trauermücken. Die Trauermücken hatte ich schon vor dem Grow in der Wohnung aber sie können auch schon in der Erde vorhanden sein. Dazu kaufe ich noch Mulch. Ich glaube ich kaufe wieder Stroh um die Erde abzudecken. Bis bald Liebe

week three flower everything looks fine so far :D eight days after defoliation I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops gelato 1 threw some balls, but I removed them as soon as I saw them, I'll keep watching it!

Hola!! Bienvenidos a esta nueva aventura. En este diario cultivaré la genética de dición limitada del banco GB Strains bajo una luminaria LED de mars hydro, la sp 150, que da unos 140 watts de potencia nominal y en espectro completo. El armario será un trafika de 60x60 y el medio de cultivo 11L de coco en maceta de plástico blanco. El coco va a ser un ladrillo de ugro de 3L hidratado con agua a ph de 5'5 y sin recirculación del agua. La germinación será en papel y usaré el seedboster de plagron ya que he leido varios casos de problemas en la germinación de esta genética y únicamente tengo 3 semillas y me gustaría gastar solamente una. Como novedad para los seguidores escribiré este diario en español, mi lengua nativa, dado que el banco de semillas GB Strains opera principalmente en España, y creo que también en Francia y me suena que Reino Unido, pero no estoy completamente seguro de eso y la idea es que sea lo más útil posible para otras personas. En cualquier caso recordad que en la parte izquierda de la página se pueden activar opciones de traducción a varios idiomas. Sobre la genética remarcar que el banco indica unos porcentajes de thc de 30-33%e n condiciones óptimas con un uso recomendado medicinal y con efecto de relajación intensa. Si no tengo problemas durante el ciclo de cultivo y éste se desarrolla correctamente realizaré un análisis de cannabinoides al finalizar el secado y si este no fuera concluyente o diese valores de menos del 20% que es una desviación bastante sustancial, realizaré otro tras el curado para verificar. Hace bastante tiempo (años) que no cultivo una genética fotodependiente pero espero no tener ningún problema Para los abonos utilizaré GHE/terra aquatica que ya he utilizado con muy buenos resultados (de momento) en mi primer intento con coco y añadiré también fulvic (o diamond nectar) de la misma casa Germinaré la semilla una vez tenga montado el armario de cultivo en los próximos días o semanas. Tambioén grabaré todo el ciclo y crearé video timelapse global y semanal para apreciar reacciones de la planta a estímulos y seguir mejorando la técnica La semilla ha germinado en 48 horas. La dejaré un poco más antes de moverla al jiffy de turba Ha tardado pero finalmente ha germinado la semilla y ya está en el jiffy en el armario. He usado el agua sobrante de mojar el papel para germinar para alimentarla estos primeros días. Cuando muestre sus primeras hojas (no cotiledones) empezaré con el abonado. Finalmente será la serie flora de GHE, no la específica de coco. Este es mi segundo intento con la genética, en el primero falló un programador de riego y generó problemas irrecuperables en la planta por lo que la deseché.

Bumped up the nutrients this week. not by much, though. Just enough to top off. I prefer to make gradual increases and underfeed rather than overfeeding. To me it's easier to correct problems of underfeeding than to correct the problems from overfeeding.

Update: 29/07 - Thought I would include a short video which shows that I have quite a small space to work with and my setup. She’s looking good and seems happy, swelling away in her garden and is even starting to get purple tints! She’s living up to her name, the purple pheno is quite rare so I’m super chuffed. Welcome to week 10! As you can clearly see by the pictures, she’s doing well and covered in sugar! Pistils are still quite white although a few are starting to darken, trichomes are becoming increasingly cloudy with a few that are amber but still a small amount. I am going to harvest a bit later to grab a bit more CBN. Buds are fattening up and she’s turned out to become a real stunner, for a first grow I’m sitting quite proud of myself. 🌿 Grow Update: Week 6 of Flower 🌸 Hey growers, We're cruising through Week 6 of flowering, and I gotta say, things are looking solid in my grow setup. This being my first rodeo, I'm pretty stoked with how it's all turning out. The plant's rocking a deep green, which could be a bit of nitrogen overload or just her natural vibe. Regardless, she's thriving, Ive been so stupid letting her get so big in a 5gallon i wouldn't be surprised if she is rootbound.. Got a bit of a snag with some lower bud sites getting overshadowed by the top canopy. Didn't want to push my luck with more defoliation i cant really at this point of flower, but hey, it's all a learning experience next round, I'll be more surgical. Already thinking about the next grow — tossing in a couple of plants in 5-gallon pots, keeping veg short and sweet at 4-5 weeks. Gonna tighten up the training game for sure. Despite the lower buds not getting as much love, the top ones are coming along nicely. She's a thirsty one, so I'm hitting her with 4 liters at lights on and another 2 liters a few hours before lights off to keep that coco from drying out. Got about 3-4 more weeks to go, and I'm itching to see how it all pans out. Can't wait to see the final yield and taste the goods.
