Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. D85/FD57 - As per last weeks update, no real change in the SCP. Pistils peaching up so ripening beginning. The Cull of the Cookies has brought down the humidity by 10-15% in the tent so hopefully that will lend itself to saving these girls from "The Cheese"!!! Couple of really decent colas in there so I would be heartbroken binning bud like I did with the cookies!!! With the work last night culling the Cookies, I was lazy tonight, just did an add back (Didnt clean the ilma out like I do every week). Put in at normal ratio's but as the base water was EC0.7 (Rather than 0.2), the same recipe took me up to 1.5 (I should have adjusted but seeing as I dont know whats out, i'd rather give enough of whats needed and just dilute through the week (even if daily!!!). Expecting water consumption to drop now with the cookies halved in size and now just waiting on the ripening! Anyway, happy growing all!!! 💪

What a long and interesting week with these. Flushed really well this week, then cal mag'd them. Wk7 I will be adding yet more cal-mag. Runoff PH is 6.2-6.5, soil ph direct is 6.5.-7ph, Feed Ph is 6. EC runoff is a bit high, betting its from the LUSH at the bottom. Going to just cal-mag and water.

UPDATE: New dry bud jarred up and bud shot pictures as well as ice bubble hash run pictures. Harvest day! Oh how amazing it has been. After 48 hours of darkness with just the dehumidifier and fan going, the smell of sweetness and gas filled our nostrils when the tent was opened to get the girls out. Unfortunately I couldnt get very good pictures with the lighting against the tent but got some decent results where I could use natural lighting. Ive got some more pictures on the way so check back for some dry bud shots as well as some macro shots of the trichomes. With the help of a couple good friends, we got the gloves and trimming scissors out and trimmed the girls down in about 2 - 3 hours while listening to music and smoking some joints (wth some added scissor hash between trims 😜). We only did a basic trim (taking off the fan leaves as well as the larfy/popcorn buds which then went into the freezer which will be used as a fresh frozen ice bubble hash run) as I like to leave a good amount of the leaves on during the drying process but not too much as the humidity is quite high at the moment anyway so I dont have to worry about overdrying. Overall this strain was super easy to grow but I can chalk that up to the environment and nurtients being on point as well as the light upgrade which has made a massive difference. They didnt stretch as much as they would do under a MH or HPS bulb but I was happy with their size but may look at going bigger in the next round (the diary for the next round is currently up so check the progress of what I hope will be monsters as I will be adding more light to the flower stage!) Once the girls have spent 7 - 10 days drying, I will be popping them in their jars and doing a smoke report with some pictures of the finished buds and some trichome macro shots. This is my first week of flush! Day 1 of week 13: Today I first watered 0.5l of tap water with a ph of around 8. Since there is minimal runoff I decided to water another 0.5l of decholrinated water with a ph of 7 for a total of 10% of the pot volume. Runoff was around 10% of that litre. From now on I think I will be watering less often at around 0.5-1 litre at a time. (with enough time for the medium to dry out in between PS: The sun will definitly help with that). I also water twice to keep the ph value of the medium in check without needing to use up all of my destilled water. Day 2: Plant was way to wet to water so I left her. Day 3: Earth has already dried out completely and I watered with 0.5 litres of distilled water. Day 4: 50/50 mix of distilled/tap water (250ml/250ml) Day 5: Plain tap water (1.25 litres) [todays temp: 37 degrees] Day 6: No water Day 7: Plain tap water (1.25 litres) [todays temp: 32 degrees]

I soaked the seeds for 24 hours in a mixture of BioAg Ful-power, 6.3 Ph water & aloe Vera. I then inoculated the soil with the mixture of ingredients I listed above. After that I placed the seeds 1/4” into the soil & placed them under the humidity dome after spraying them with my pump sprayer. Current temp is 75 degrees F & Humidity is 89%.
