Week 3 of flowering is in the books for the Auto Gelato girl from Fast Buds Genetics <3 ... this week I did some minor cleanup with dying leaves, and the lower branches that were being blocked out by the top colas. This girl has recovered exceptionally well after being supercropped the previous week, so excited to see how she'll continue to grow and stack up in the coming weeks! Considering I snapped the stalk while cropping, I was really surprised to see just how well the wound healed up over the week. These plants are awesome! Both Blue Dreams, WiFi OG, and Purple Urkle have been harvested. I will update once they are dry. Grandaddy Purple will continue to flower for maybe another week or two.

Everything is looking good. Gave these girls a shot of recharge and fish shit. Prepping there new homes and getting ready to transplant.

I think it was related to being underfed or underwater. Midway through the week, they started to recover and grow taller. North is on the verge of flowering. I also lollipopped all plants to try and clear the lower region so it's easy to water and so the plants can focus growth on the important parts. Overall the AKs have been drinking up a storm (watering almost every day at this point), I'm trying to keep an eye out for overfeeding. I'm feeding every watering for now until I see issues pop up, then I'll slow down. Next week may be the week I start flower (guessing since these are autos). Day 42 (Jul 8) - Plants look the same as yesterday pretty much, AK1 & AK2 are doing less of the 'preparation droop'. The major yellow leaves are starting to crust off and it seems like the mid/upper leaves are not getting paler / translucent. Hey there! Welcome to this diary! I made it easy back in 2021. Sorry in advance for the Spanish audio. For my germination method I always use both the glass of water and the paper towel. Let me explain, the glass of water only goes for 6 to 12 hrs, it's just a soak that also contains 3-4 drops of hydrogen peroxide, this way we kill all pathogens that the seed may have on the outside. Then to a warm, moist and dark place with the paper towel, this seed sprouted pretty fast using this method. Then, once it has that tiny mouse tail of it goes to the pot, I keep it moist by putting a transparent cup upside down. Just to keep the dates, it just took from the 17th to the 19th to go from the cup with water, to the paper tower, to the soil, AND SPROUT!!

hello growmies! day 51 finally the pre-flowers begin to appear. I apologize for the few photos but unfortunately they really filled the box and I find it difficult. overall I have to say they look in perfect shape! Beginning of week: Can't tell yet if the branch i broke is going to mend or die yet. Light defoliation today focusing on the upper canopy and tapering to the bottom to allow the lower branches to catch up as much as possible. Midweek: going away for 3 days. Put my net down to help breakup the canopy more though it wasnt really needed this thing loves to grow sideways. Added Cycos suga rush at 1ml/L and a light defoliation. The branch i thought I broke hasnt shown any signs of dying and has continued growing 😁 I also have started watering with worm casting tea in between feeds.

Second week with the mini humidifier here and so far mixed results. I need something with larger capacity so I don't have to refill it every single day, but still small enough to fit the IKEA box. Strongly considering to add a heated mat too at some point. There seems to be quite a bit of temperature difference between the plant and the bottom of the pot. Maybe just some insulations. Sooo many things to try, but let's focus on not overfeeding them 😃

So far all plants have been harvested. (3x Bubba Pupil, 1x purple wreck, 1x AK-47, 1x Godberry). The first bubba pupil and AK-47 were harvested a week and a half ago and now have been jarred for 1 week +/- a few days. All pictures are of the bubba pupil and AK. I will come back and update once the other plants have been trimmed. The first Bubba Pupil, which was the tallest of the 3 and most stretched out, yielded exactly 4.5 Oz dry weight. The smell is starting to get stronger after a week. It smells grapey but has a weird funk to it. It must be the “pupil” funk everyone talks about. This plant looked like it wasn’t going to yield much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lowers were dense and compact which contributed to a good amount of decent sized buds. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with the yield and quality from this plant. The AK-47 seemed like it was going to be a heavier yielder, but it ended up only yielding 2.5 Oz dry. The main colas were far during flower and dense when dried, but this plant had little to no lower quality buds. Everything below the main canopy seemed like it was airy and not worth jarring up. This plant smells a little bit fruity, but I can’t really put my finger on it. Super dank smelling, not skunky, but it smells like it is going to be gaseous once it cures up a bit longer. The Godberry yielded a total of 3.25 Oz. She was the best smelling by far out of all of the girls in the tent. Super fruity and sticky as hell. The resin content on her was definitely the highest of them all. I will be back to update once the last 3 plants are trimmed and jarred for a final weight and overview.

Week 10, Week 10 has been fun. The buds are becoming denser and starting to almost look like a finished product. I am planning on harvesting the plant the first week of next month, so three weeks or so and counting! I am adjusting the tie downs twice a week trying to get the buds as much sunlight as possible. I am watering every 3 days with 6.0 ph water. I have been putting a teaspoon of FloraNova in the water with a tablespoon of molasses mixed in but it appears she received a little nutrient burn. I'm not to worried about it because I wanted to make sure the flower sites received enough nutrients to make some dense dank buds. It isn't a huge burn but a little. As a result I started mixing only half a teaspoon of FloraNova in the water to make sure any future burn doesn't happen. I am excited about the plant, she is starting to look like a thiccy ha I am probably going to starting flushing in three weeks. Let me know if you have any questions/concerns/comments. 28 days huh... I don't know what to think here right now. The plant looks completely healthy, no over or underwatering symptoms, no nutrient deficiency or excess symptoms, completely healthy in my opinion. The plant is growing as seen in timelapse, would not say it is stunted. It is growing a shit ton of side nodes but nothing is stretching and I don't know why. I did see some stretching at the end of the week, either the plant will stretch drastically over the next week or I will end up with a Basketball-sized XXXL Bud. To be sure I re-calibrated all probes and they were fine before calibrating so no error on that side. Mixed a new batch of nutrient solutions and did a full swap of the reservoir. Added support bars and a net. Values are average of the day. This week i harvested her on day 88 from seed week 13. This girl had some issues. She none the less survived long enough to finish up. Around the 2 week of flower she began burning up underneath the led's ( which don't get that hot). It's really weird, because out of 3 plants that were under the led's i run, this candy kush was the only one to react this way. I narrowed it down to this being the issue after flushing and verifying run off ph, defoliation, and nutrient decreases.She was also transplanted during preflower from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon pot, which she took to well and really grew alot bigger from. I pulled off soooo many damaged leaves from the issues that occurred from the burning. It was so bad, i eventually built a greenhouse for her to finish up in. Although i think she could have been grown better and produced more, i cannot complain. I did oven bake some bottom branch larf buds and rolled up a sample. Of course the terpines were garbage and she tasted like shit haha, but the high was pretty good and intense! After she is done drying i will supply dry picks and weights, then she will be going into them curing jars. Oh and she was flushed for one week using only tps signal and molasses. She will indeed get another run in the future.
