fresh water 580ppm ph 6.2 i decided to go a bit lower in ppm as this is an autoflower stretch starts, there isnt much time left before flower maybe 1 week. i started counting “day 1” as when the seed popped open thats why it looks like this plant is 1 week behind day 40: little defoliation

This week I added 9 ml of nutrient per gal of water to prepare for switching to flowering. Grow 5 inches this week getting ready to start flowering. I lowered the light to eight inches which really had these plants growing faster and thicker.

Harvest day 68 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. First of all I would like to compliment Green House for this genetics. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. The growth was great from start to finish. She had no problems at all and also had no problems with animals 👍. I'm amazed at the great smell the beautiful buds give off😀. Of course I cut cuttings and if the taste is as good as the smell it will be grown again ☺️. A final report comes with the Smoke Report. My plant is growing pretty well. She has developed many new nodes, since I used fertilizer last wednesday. I want to top her next wednesday or so, becuase of my limited tent-height. I also put the light from 14 DLI to 20 DLI. I want to increase the intensity every day a bit more to let her slowly adapt. Edit: I rotated her so that she can absorb light evenly and therefore grow evenly. Update 08.04.24: Some roots have reached the surface, so I decided to cover them with some new soil. I also decided to top her today and bend some of her leafes down. Update 09.04.24: I actually didn't want to start LST until next week. The topping is actually intended to strengthen the growth of the secondary branches, but a few of these branches received little light. That's why I decided to start with LST now and continue to enable the growth of the secondary branches.

Nothing of note really to add here. One day maybe like day 10 or so, I forgot to water on a hot day and the plant slumped. Bounced back immediately after watering. Other than that we seem to be on course. Currently fighting the urge to start using fertilizers 😒.

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Big difference in the two Cali Snow plants! The centre "Plant 1" is well along in the flowering process with obvious bud sites forming along the small amount of LST I've been able to get going. Got a bit more stretch out of it but it looks like she's settling down but the sativa flowering of this strain is noticeably behind the indica LSD-25 planted same day in my other diary. The other girl "Plant 2" that is far left and was cooked under the dome early in the grow seems to still be in a pre-flower phase and I'm actually getting a lot of decent stretch/growth in the secondary sites. I'll keep an eye on it for the next week to see if I have to set it off myself with a 12/12 cycle but there are a few pistils here and there. Hopefully it's just a little set back in its timing because it's going to turn out to be the biggest of all 3 plants I have going now. Will have the best veg base for flowering for sure. Hopefully I won't have to set it to 12/12 and rob the other two plants I have further along in flower of a few hours of light a day. Gave another feed with upped nutes but still playing it on the low side. Going up a little each feeding and no signs of burn on any of the girls yet. Making sure I'm chasing feeds with plain water and spraying the top layer with plain water here and there to keep any build up at bay; Since the girls aren't big enough for full pot runoff feeds due to small size. Day 48 - 12/16 You can see how different the timing on the two Cali Snow are. I'm loving the extra time with Plant 2 to set up bigger secondary branches and the pistils still seem to be SLOWLY forming near the top and mature sites. In an attempt to avoid switching her to 12/12 to fully trigger the flower, I've let the temperature drop down a bit to the high teens with the light on by lettering in the winter air and keeping the tent open with lights on. Hopefully the lower temp here and there over the next couple days will get it moving. Plant 1 is well along in it's flower. The bud sites are well defined and the stretch seems to be wrapping up bringing it in just a bit bigger than my small LSD-25 in my other diary going right now. Pulled it out and reset some new LST on the plant with a less drastic lean. Clipped a few fan leaves and 3 fingers from the two Cali's, anything blocking light or bunching up too much but tried to leave as much as possible for energy production. The classic Cali Snow smell I was warned about is starting to come in. Even P2 with little to no flowers is throwing off a nice scent. Still tent contained without exhaust for now so no worries on that front. Day 50 - 12/18 Gave them their biggest feeding today in both nutes and volume. Both split a mix of 1ml each PH Perfect MGB with 1tsp Molasses in a gallon of water with a half gallon plain water chase. First time the plants have been big/thirsty enough for a run-off feeding. Will spray top layer in a day to clean top layer of any residue then top with D-Earth sprinkle to let sit until next feed. These girls have gone from identical to fraternal twins. P2 on the left is looking more like the plant I wanted in terms of size and spread. The set back in flowering time has really allowed me to train it up and get lower branches up to a pseudo-canopy. It looks like it's FINALLY about to make the final switch as the still bright pre-flower tops are starting to shoot more pistils and new leaf growth has that telltale upward point as the spread comes to an end. P1 is full flower swing is chugging along nicely as I opened her up main stem up with some selective defoliation and the thin sativa bud structure is slowly but surely coming in. As a new grower, seeing the fatten/faster Indica flower of my LSD-25 right next to the Sativa on the same schedule is a great observational experience. 👽 The smell of the two Cali Snows are finally starting to ripen up. 6/19 Knowing it was going to be over 100° for the majority of the day I WATERED the garden with 3 1/2 gallons. I went to check around 4 and everything looked amazing. We got some hard rain from a thunderstorm at 4pm but it seems like these girls like it rough and did fine. The take a beating and come back stronger. Knock on wood but I haven't seen any problems on the plant I snapped amd dict taped.. Everything seems to have toughened up and the leaves are an awesome healthy color. They grow observable every day now. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 100 again for most of the day before weather goes back to semi normal. I took a video but it will take way to long to upload. Tons of other pics didn't upload either. 6/20 Another day that's going to be over 100°. Plants seem to love it lol. I can't believe what I'm seeing. Bags still had some heft so I didn't water this morning. I figure I'll check them around noon and then plan on watering tonight if they need it. Hopfully they'll get some rain from thunderstorms. This crop has been through a lot. I think that has helped them significant deal with this unpredictable weather. 6/21 We had a MAJOR thunderstorm with sheet rain yesterday. I missed it but it was intense. I saw some videos. First time dad seemed concerned. Fortunately there was no damage. I was going to water today but I decided to hold off due to the look of the plants and the "praying leaves" at 4pm and feeling some moisture in the soil. Bags seemed to still have some heft. I'll probably water tomorrow. Need to transplant the 1 gals and need to figure out what I want to do for nutes this year. So far I've put in much less effort and I'm still doing great. I just don't have as many plants as usual. 6/22 Rained last night. Not much but the bags were heavy still so I held off watering. Plants looked happy and I can fix under watering much easier. It will rain tomorrow. I'll check throughout the day and update but things are going good. I should transplant those 3 seedlings in 1 gals. 6/23 It Rained last night and is suppised to rain today. It was raining when i went over. Just the kind if rain the plants love. I'll check again before church but I'm eventually going to have to water them. Those thunder storms helped a lot. 6/24 Rained about an inch yesterday. Plants loved it. Bigger everytime I see them. One seedling showed a pistol and I'll transplant it with the rest. It was the only one I was worried about. I've seen a FEW leaf hopper punctures and some other bites that could be anything. Time to get the ipm 6/25 Looks like its gonna be a nice sunny day. 75° at 10am. Plants are doing amazing and growing at a rapid pace. Haven't done anything ipm as of yet but any damage I've seen is localized to "A" leaf on "A" plant. I'll be paying attention and watching for signs of deficiencies. As of now though they LOOK great. I'll try to transplant the 3 seedlings today.

Start 25/10/2024 Harvest Day 74 - 06/01/2025 92 cm jet fuel was the taller No flush, flawless finish 2 ml a week an half before harvest then just watering with pH 8. 7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Red Rhino: Red Rhino is an amazing strain coming from Israel and boasts a 60% Sativa and a 40% Indica. This strian comes from crossing double gum and master kush. Effects are an increased appetite, as well as giving you ephoric feelings throughout the whole day. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day 1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Fell over today I am worried.., she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. Supported the Stems with little improvised pole to help her stand up. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth.
