Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. New diary new adventure and hopefully new colors and flavors before i get to the details i want to give a special thanks to everybody and i mean each one of you for your grows i gained a lot a knowledge being here so thanks to @growdiaries for this great platform and thank you guys ... for this grow i have 4 tents and difference set up and methods for each one of them 1 tent is 80×80×160 with 400 watts hps with 2 mexican airlines in 15L pots (LST) 1 tent is 80X80X160 with 250watts hps with 2 lsd-25 in 15L propots (LST) 1 tent is 80X80X180 with 400 watts hps with 1 chocolate mint OG feminised in 20L propot (Scrog) 1 tent is 120x120x200 with 400 watts hps with 3 sixshooter and 1 lsd-25 in 15L propots (LST) Im only showing you guys LSD25 with the LST And the Chocolate ming OG under SCROG The other 2 grow tents being LST'd aswell ill show u only the harvest but i will do the same low stress so you will be able to pick and choose from the method you like the most. Advanced nutrients and plagron light mix for six shooter lsd-25 and chocolate mint OG VS biobizz for mexican airlines ( i want to see what is best for me! ) Switching saving lsd's for another grow got a free cheese CBD from dinafem and free so imma try that first

So far 44 grams total dry weight of flower. I have 1 zkittlez girl left. Smoke is amazing and the sedating effects come after the peak. Overall great looking and tasting bud.

Day 1- 22/10/21 at 13:00pm I have started germination by putting 20 Afghan kush auto seeds into a glass of water for 24 hours the I will place them on a plate with wet kitchen paper till they are ready to pot!!!!! Day 2- 23/10/21 seeds have been transferred onto a plate with at kitchen paper!!! Day 4-25/10/21 most the seeds have popped. Most of them I am putting in pots now and the slower ones tomorrow!!! Day 5- 26/10/21 all the seeds have now been potted and placed into the tent!!!! Day 6-27/10/21 first sign of plants coming through about 6 out of the 20 have popped out!!!! Day 7-28/10/21 almost every seed is out and now we move onto the Vegative stage check out out the video!!

Week 4- A(Day 32), B&C(Day 28) A - continues to flourish, no signs of deficiencies despite me keeping nutrient feedings at a low dosage and frequency. No signs of slowing down, I continued with LST this week and she responded well. B- still doing ok as she continues to catch up with her bigger sister. Continued LST, and her new topps are coming in nicely. C- still the straggler. She was pretty angry with me earlier in the week. Defoliated her a bit, giant leaves were blocking all the new growth and with her being so short and stout, some had to go. Got pretty wilted, she was too dry. Seemed to bounce back after a few days, I was even able to start the LST. She seems much more finicky. *Update* A is showing pre-flower hairs!

One thing I noticed is that its smell went away. But I figured it’s gunna get a lot stronger during flowering! I’m trying to find a way to aerate the soil because it’s so compact along with the roots that I sometimes feel like not all the soil is getting soaked properly, will find a big enough container to bottom feed, maybe it’ll help loosen it up a bit. And mites as well : oh well

Lots of hairs this week had a bit of an airline issue on the airstones I fixed it and the leaves stopped curling downward so they are looking alot better did my usual weekly feeding 6 oz of each remo nutes and ph water 5.8 added as well cannazyne for the breakdown of old dead roots helps keep things clean and productive lots of hairs and new top development through each plant right plant started getting some yellow leaves I defoliated then and will continue to monitor for any issues but also going to re defoliate and take out those bottom useless larfe nugs

As you can see the white powdery mold is starting to lose my thoughts were getting a HEPA filter into the room . 2) because this mold mostly lives on leaves what I did is I locked out the soil. This was a technique passed on by a legacy grower in my area.The way it was explained is by making the pH higher than seven the plant would no longer be able to receive nutrients through the soil and it would have to eat whatever nutrients are left in the leaves. This woukd change the pH of the leaves aswell to help kill the mold . Lastly I greatly increased my wind movement so that air would be continuously moving no matter what it was a little bit hard on the leave tips that burnt a little bit but at this point windburn on leaves is pretty irrelevant when you're looking at the whole picture. I don't think this would have worked with any other genetics but exotic seeds mostly because from what I've seen with them is a very high resistance to mold and I think that played a huge part of the process. Also having diablo nutrients monster wash, without that I do not think I would have won this battle

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. This plant is doing good. Growing well after sitting so long, 8 weeks, with only it first leaves out. This plant is really 16 weeks old. See week one for pics and story. Hope it's strong... I like strong... I like it's shape... OK. Keep growing Straight. Chuck.

Well, I shouldn’t have spoken so quickly. There was actually a start of bud rot on the top bud, as visible in the video. (I had opened it beforehand, it didn't break by itself) I removed the damaged part and a bit more before hanging the plant. I let the two bottom branches grow for a few more days as planned, since there are still white pistils shooting and the buds look healthy. I weighed the plant with the stem at 250g. I think there’s about 100/120g of stem (I weighed a small portion and did the proportionality). So, I am expecting around 150-175g of wet buds for this harvest, counting the two remaining branches.

Well week 15 and 5th week of flower started yesterday, 9/12. I did a little more defoliation over the weekend, maybe cut 20 leaves altogether. Everything is still looking good. Temps are good, rh is good, airflow is definitely good. And judging by the frosty trichs that are showing I'd say everything is right on schedule. Starting to get more smell. That's about it for now. 4/27 I'm fairly certain that I watered everything. If not I only would've held off on a smaller plant that was about 17 grams over dry weight. Pretty sure I did them all though. Having a scale makes watering in these cups SO much easier. Had a rough few days with a lot going on so i uavent been writing as much. Transplant will be happening soon. Most plants have or are close to having there fourth node. I'm not going to top/FIM until after transplant and they've settled in nicely. The Kush plants are getting close to needing that transplant. I'm waiting for the leaves to go beyond the edge of the cup. Despite the fact that some havecthree fingered leaves hanging on their own stem. The transplants will go into 1/2 happy frog half ocean forest. All in all things are going good. Some plants will probably be transplanted this week. Plants in this diary are different ages. 4/28 I watered what needed it by the scale. A few were close but within range so I left them alone. I'll check later in the day and water when they are within range. It sucks sometimes because I need to make that decision over just a few points sometimes. I usually do it based on plant size and response. Oh well, these girls are out of seedling stage thats for sure. Realistically this week is closer to week one of veg then the seedling emerging on day one when i started this. I just wanted to get this diary started. Then I had to get replacement seeds as some didn't germinate. These girls are looking pretty good so ill probably save the other beans i have for next year. I MAY do a lilac/diesel auto from Ethos when it gets warmer but we'll see. I am wicked excited for this season. Planning to clean and sanitize grow area and wash pots today. Everything seems to be doing amazing. 4/29 I watered a few but many weren't in range yet. I'll be there later this afternoon and check again. Boy things are going good. Planning to grab the rest of my soil this morning. Things are popping off. Transplants will be coming soon. I just want that big rootball first before they go in the 1 gals. I picked up my soil but they shorted me 3 bags of haply frog. It was like a war zone there. Construction everywhere and people hollering at each other over the mechanical racket. Only the drive through was open. I did some quick calculations to reach what I needed for soil bit after they told me to go back in because "they didn't have it." I stop and get out and it went back on my card. Apparently they were hassling my legally blind disabled wife to move the car. She offered them the opportunity to do so but they would need to deal with me after. I wasn't in anyone's way. The car behind me went around me just fine. Anyway I remembered the little local store one town over. Ten minute drive and they have a deal where if you buy 5 bags of hf you it's only SLIGHTLY more than 3. I headed out that way but had to come home due to an emergency. They've got a bunch and they aren't in the city. I'll make it over there this afternoon or in the morning and pick up the rest of my happy frog. No roots organic 707 this year. It's the same price as ocean forest and I really like ocean forest. Lots see how they do with just happy frog and ocean. 4/30 Watered the front row of the aerogarden. Others seemed to be within range. Pretty sure I watered everything under the L.E.D. Things are moving forward. I've got a lot of work to do. I'm going to pick up my remaining soil. I need to clean and sterilize grow bags and the 1 gallon pots and I need to clean and sanitize the grow cage itself and do any little repairs that may need it. So far I'm pretty happy. I don't want to make a mistake and transplant to early. I think we may have an early season this year. It's been nice the past few days. 5/1 It's been hot the past few days. It's looking like we are going to have an early season which is totally OK with me. I WATERED TODAY. I think I did the entire aero garden. I watered the majority under the l.e.d as well. I think when it gets that close (weight wise) it doesn't REALLY matter whether they get that shot glass or not. As long as the weight is like 217 or something. Some plants have leaves going over the sides of the cup. I transplanted to early last time with seeds. Not REALLY to early but they could've stayed in the cups longer. And they take up less space that way but within a week I bet these girls will be transplanted and spending some time outside. I'm looking forward to it. 5/2 Plants are looking great. Watered everything I think. Some weights were high (e.g. 216) but I watered them anyway. I'm starting to be able to squeeze the cups and feel the roots. After I run these few errands and bring wife to the soctors I'll get the rest of my soil and I'll clean my 1 gal pots. The past few days they could've gotten some sunlight. It's been really nice out. Raining today. EDIT: PICKED UP THE REST OF THE SOIL FOR THE SEASON. PLANTS ARE DOING GOOD. SINCE THE FIRST BATCH WAS A LITTLE STUNTED SOME OF THE OTHERS ARE IN SIMILAR STAGES. I "COULD" TRANSPLANT NOW BUT ITS EASIER DEALING WITH THEM IN THE SOLOS. AS SOON AS I TRANSPLANT THEY'LL JUMP IN SIZE. I'LL NEED TO PUT AT LEAST ONE HPS LIGHT UP AS WELL. HOWEVER, IT'S BEEN NICE ENOUGH HERE THAT THEY'LL BE ABLE TO SPEND TIME OUTSIDE DURING PART OF MOST DAYS. LAST TIME I DID SEEDS I WENT WITH 3 GALLONS BUT IM GOING INTO 1'S THIS YEAR WITH FINAL GROW BAGS RANGING FROM 20G-50G. I USIALLY USE A MIX OF FFOF, FFHF, AND ROOTS ORGANIC 707 IN EQUAL PARTS. THIS YEAR I'M USING ONLY THE FOX FARM SOILS. IVE DONE THIS BEFORE WITH GOOD RESULTS. 5/3 WATERED EVERYTHING BUT ONE TENTH PLANET AND THE ONE BEHIND IT WHICH I BELIEVE IS CHEM DOG #4. I'M FAIRLY CERTAIN I WATERED EVERYTHING UNDER THE L.E.D. These girls are ready for a new home. There's a couple that I Gould hold off on but some are at the point where they NEED A transplant. IT would be much easier to light and carry around in these cups but I want to veg indoors and on nice days bring them outside to harden off. There's only a COUPLE slow starters that could wait but only a couple. I have this year's soil. Just need to wash the pots and mis the soil and transplant. Today is busy but tomorrow is open so I'll be playing it by ear.
