Hello! I am back! Welcome to day 76, almost the end of week seven for Poppy the Purple OG Punch. I am not going to be able to compete in the contest as she is not yet ready so my first two competition entries end in total failure. Poppy has suffered multiple snapped colas in the move, and a lack of training, but she is doing okay, buds are fattening nicely. Height 82cm, she was fertigated 10l about 4 days ago, and 7.5l today.

-Sensi Seeds Research: The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? Week #11, week #3 of Flowering, flowers opening stage is doing well, white hairs spotted everywhere. It’s also the, week 3 trimming, week where you must clean your legs from all the lowers shoots. Technically everything under the trellis must go away ( see on pictures and video ). This is why I recommend to smash your plants under the trellis (see previous weeks, in week 8) to avoid growing long legs. The plants won’t waste any energy on the bottom, everything will be sent to the top, and it creates an airflow under the canopy ( you can add a small desktop fan ) to avoid any mold due to high RH as they are going to start to drink like maniacs in a week or two and to evaporate all this water. Last week of Veg nutrients to finish the stretch with no deficiency, will switch to Bloom nutrients next week. Adding 1gr/plants of Bactrex (Trichoderma) mixed with the solution. The ladies has been having issues since day one, but im not giving up on these fighters! I have only been feeding ph 6.3 water, with no nutrition. Monitering moisture level in soil, and feeding before dry. -Temps - 26-27 day / 22-23 night -RH% - 65%(+-1.5) day / 70% night (+-1.5) -VPD 0.8 - 1.0 KPA 👉12/9 Climate on point, still recovering. 👉13/9 Letting them be. 🙏14/9 Praying every day. 👉15/9 The 3 bigger ones, is showing signs of adapting and overcoming the struggle. 👉16/9 The 3 smaller ones is still behind by a lot. 👉17/9 Topping two of the biggest and cloning the tops. *********First nutrients added to watering. 01.07. White Runtz Day 63# Condition much better. On the plant, after the last update, the crap started to spread, 2 or 3 days after the last update I removed a lot of destroyed leaves, from then until today it is no longer spreading, this morning I noticed (probably not earlier) on 2 leaves it is barely visible and a little while ago when I went around the plants I noticed that it had not spread at all, so I can freely say that the plant has recovered, and it was the second in the row in the most critical condition. I removed those two leaves and I'm still monitoring the situation, but the plant is already growing nicely and has put on a lot of leaf mass, so almost as much as it lost, it's healthy, don't complain, I think it's recovered. The last two waterings she received only clean water, the next watering is food, stimulators, vitamins, amino acids… Today is the end of the ninth week for the plant. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

I started hitting them pretty hard with the nutrients this week and topped every one I could find. Might’ve fimmed one. I did a little early LST on them the whole week because the system I’m using grows woody stalks and if you wait too long you’ll never get a bend on them. They all more than doubled in size and technically this is week 3 day one of veg since they were put into the feeding system. I plan to get them another 8” taller with their new multiple tops and then place the scrog net over them. At this rate I’m guessing two weeks or a little more and they’ll be ready for the 12/12 flip.

End of week 6, pistils started to form so I decided to switch to a 12/12 light cycle and move them in the tent. Defoliated both, and did LST on one and super crop the other.

I didnt pay much attention which plant turned out to be which, so I'm not too sure which plant is depicted on the pictures. They were all harvested within one week of one another. In total including hash, it was about 1.8 kilo dry weed on the scales:) They all tasted differently, but they were all very very tasty. Some were really earthy, others were fruity. Absolutely loved this grow.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment...
