I was sick for a whole week and skipped last week's update, but I've got some exciting things to share with you now.
At the time of this post, we're on day 53 of flowering.
While I was down with a fever, the plants suffered a bit due to drying out. The big one was hit the hardest. As soon as I started feeling better, I watered them, but the big plant experienced some gnarly salt buildup. Both plants were emergency flushed, and now the situation is more than good.
During this time, the male plants were actively producing pollen, which I collected. I've decided that I have enough pollen for future experiments, so today I culled the males to ease the workload.
In my small tent, the LSD auto by Barney's Farm is flowering. I might pollinate one branch to see what happens.
The big plant is struggling with the weight of its branches, knocking its neighbors' heads (it even broke off some male branches!). I've tied the heavy branches to wire supports attached to the main stem.
Now I can clearly see the seeds forming and maturing.
I'll keep the plants until the seeds start dropping onto the floor.
The plants have fully recovered and are feeling great.
For nutrients, I'm using AB at 40ml per 5l with an PPM of 1695 and pH of 6.1.
I'm giving around 10 liters to the big one and 3-4 liters to the small one.

Played Motown Radio. Drank 0.25 gallons plain water=36 ppm 5.9 ph 68 f. 65.8-75.2 38%-45%
Day 72 3/6:
Played Reggae Radio. I moved into my bloom tent under the HLG 300 to replace the Gorilla Glue that finished today. This should really help push this baby to finish. 65.7-73.8 36%-50%
Day 73 3/7:
Played Reggae Radio. Drank 0.25 gallons plain water=73 ppm 6.5 ph 68 f. 65.1-73.8 40%-54%
Day 74 3/8:
Played Hip Hop Radio. 66.6-74.5 41%-52%
Day 75 3/9:

Final Weekly Notes:
Well she is still not ready but is now looking better than ever. Ever since I put her inside my bloom tent she has been swelling stinking and back on track. I was really hoping for this to have been done already but I am willing to wait for the pain relief for us. Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!!
Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky.
Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth.
EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update.
—-smoke report—-
The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes.
High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level.
As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water
This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

This week has been a very great experience sour kush a is responding so well to nutes and training just removing older fan leaves. The stocks are growing thicc.

4/6:
The shortie is still drying, and I the bigger one is in the dark until tomorrow.
4/7:
I harvested the bigger one and washed her buds. Very berrry! Later that night, I jarred up the shortie....drum roll please....she came in at a whopping 314g!!!
It's very humid lately, so I'll weigh her again in a couple of days...she'll probably lose another 10-15g...but still...she fat. She very fat.👍
4/9:
Evidently, I'm retarded.
I must've put both #6's into the same drying rack. The photos I had posted of the "#6" were actually of a #3.
The combined total weight of both #6's is actually 314g...the shortie probably weighed about 180g and the bigger one probably weighed about 130g.
I'm still looking for the harvest photos of the bigger #6...

had to cut her very early because of some mold problems, but had about 50-60 grams of amazing, organic weed from this plant!

I'm really contemplating dropping Bruce & Diesel. They're developing very badly. We'll see how they continue to develop, another week and it will be clearer.

I haven’t been able to keep up with my diary as much as I would have liked to. Through week 6 a lot of pistils started to make a name for themselves. I defoliated when I watered them but was very worried I would lower my yield since they are autos and photos.
The beginning of week 7 is when zkittles started to suck up tons of water! She also started to have her branches stretch up, I don’t know if this is normal or if she’s trying to tell me something. The following days is when the rest of the plants started to suck up a good amount of water fast too. I’ve been watering every other day one day with bloom nutrients the next with just ph’d water.

Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in.
The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler.
I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop.
I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal.
Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point.
Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2
I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1
Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5
Mid Weekupdate:
Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag.
Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain.
The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud.
Smells like citrus.

On average I water each pot with:
Day 58 : 1 Liter
Day 62 : 1 Liter with 0.3 Gram of BoosterPK+
I alternate watering, one with booster in my water and the next without.
I add Bioenhancer once every 14 days +/-.
I add very few nutrients to my water because I have already placed Bio Nutrients directly in my soil 😉 (BioGrow & BioBloom added on week 1 & 5)

Culminé mi cultivo de Gelato 44 y quise compartir mi experiencia con el set-up completo. El fc6500 de Marshydro ofreció una iluminación uniforme que maximizó el desarrollo del dosel, mientras que los Adlite permitieron un ajuste preciso del espectro lumínico en cada fase.
A partir de la aplicación de XpertNutrients se notó un impulso decisivo en la salud y el vigor de las plantas: se desarrollaron cogollos densos y resinosos, con un perfil aromático muy marcado que realzó el carácter de la genética.
Este conjunto de equipos y nutrientes facilitó un cultivo robusto y de alta calidad, superando mis expectativas en rendimiento y acabado.
Sin duda, una combinación que recomiendo a quienes buscan resultados superiores.

Hi,
La sénescence se fait naturellement du fait d’une légère carence en N, j’ai quand même ajouté du Power Clean pour l’accélérer et améliorer encore plus le goût et l’odeur.
Les couleurs violettes se propagent petit à petit vers le bas de la #2, et très légèrement sur la #1, comme des reflets.
La puissance du panneau LED a été abaissé sur 55%
La floraison est prévu pour 7-8 semaines et pourtant j’en suis à 10, sûrement du à la carence post stretch qui a ralentit la floraison et réduit le rendement ; J’ai observé les trichromes le 28/10, ils sont presque tous laiteux et les premiers ambrés arrivent doucement..

Defoliated one final time, running out of height space fast. Hopefully they do not stretch much more in the final 6 days of stretch.
Also picked off a few lower shoots after pics were taken, it was quite a aggressive defoliation so hoping they recover well in the next few days.
Also raised ec by 0.1 as the ec dropped a point over the last few days.
