Hello herbalists. Second week of flowering passed, generally all going good, all 4 babies looking pretty good and healthy. PM1 streched out really huge, have to bent him under scrog properly, otherwise it's going to cover other sisters;)

I let her go for another week and after checking her trichomes I decided she was done. It‘s not like I had much of a choice anyway as I‘m leaving for a trip in a few days. I cut her down branch by branch, collecting the stalks and fan leaves in one container and the buds in another. After that the buds went into plastic bags which was then put in the freezer. I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

Start of week 3 everything is looking good so far

Week 9 | Forbidden Runtz Auto | Flowering Week 9 and the Forbidden Runtz is deep into flower. Height locked at 70cm — she's done stretching and is putting everything into bud production now. Compact plant, but don't let the size fool you. The main cola is stacking hard, calyx on calyx with barely any gap between nodes, and the trichome coverage is already thick across both the buds and the surrounding sugar leaves. Up close the whole top half is frosted. Side branches are following the same pattern — dense, resinous, well-developed bud sites all the way down. She's the smallest of the outdoor run this season, but she's also one of the earlier ones to commit fully to flower and push resin this aggressively at this stage. A compact, efficient plant that's clearly prioritizing quality over size. Conditions stable: 16h natural light, 2L per plant per 24h, pH 6.2, EC 1.4 mS/cm, 60% humidity, 25°C day / 18°C night. 4 semana de floración. Se están formando las flores en las puntas y a lo largo de los brazos, empece a aplicar abono de floración pero en bajas dosis, conforme la planta vaya creciendo y necesite mas nutrientes voy a ir subiendo la dosis, quiero evitar a toda costa la sobre fertilización que ha sido mi principal problema y obstáculo en cultivos anteriores. De momento las plantas crecen muy bien. Esta semana voy a aplicar un preventivo para hongos foliares y bichos chupadores (trips, cuanto los odio!). I Pruned all the lower herming sections and lowered the far red % as well. Lots of trichomes, which is always awesome. Smell is amazing

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. 2024.09.12 D64 Its been two busy week, as i trim the 1 pond mother, get aknowledge that my wife use my grow sniper two pruned is badly infested rose bush, since 2 week and never proper clean it whith alcool.😱😱😱😷 in result a massive PM & mithe contamination in my grow tent... 😱😭😷😭 all plant have been shoot with H2O2 at 0.5% and set ouside for 2 day, wich turn to be rainy as f***, until i clean and serilized everything, twice and run the hepa filter .😷😰 the plant look ok, lightly over wartered, but no more pest or PM sign as they return in the tent.. 3 days later PM hardly bonce back, no choice to use more agressive treatment so they all have been shoot with saffer's defender 3 in 1. after 3 shoot in 24h and another tent desinfection we should have get rid of it 🙏 8 day laters everything look fine👍, all damage leaf have been removed, i also prune some unrelevant lower and inner grow

Week 6 Day 1 10/28/2023 Water Change Day!! Added: 36 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.3mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-6.5Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2.5mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 4.0mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal I setup my PH automation system.. I will start it running in 24 hours after the system settles in. Week 6 Day 2 10/29/2023 Going to be interesting.. I left the old monitor in to do a double check behind the new auto PH monitor.. not eh problem is I configured the New one and I am pretty sure that it is more accurate than the previous one I was using but the difference is 5.9 on the new one and 6.19 on the old. So it leaves me to questions if I was always running my PH higher but still just within safe range? or is this one off by that much. Questions, Questions.. But so far it is working I had to make several adjustments to dial in how much of each gets released but right now they are sitting around 5.9 Week 6 Day 3 10/30/2023 Worked on adjusting the auto PH system and I think I will need to change out some of the gear to make it work better.. Right now the suction/ flow rate has to be up to high in order to get the Up or down out of the Containers and the UP kicks on before the Down has a chance to settle.. I would have hoped there is a steady reading for X seconds before it starts the other.. but there isn't it is automatically kicking off the Up even while it is still adjusting from adding Down. Week 6 Day 4 10/31/2023 Today I did nothing but take some pics.. Nice day.. the experiment of the PH auto system is a bust as of right now.. the range is out of what I want.. and it keeps immediately kicking off without giving the water time to balance.. since this is a res system which the water moves.. not the best.. it doesn't have a wait time before release more.. and it keeps releasing even after it starts reading in range.. so it drops it lower than it should.. I could probably dilute the PH up and Down and make it a little more effective.. but not sure what I want to do at this point. Week 6 Day 5 11/01/2023 Today I did nothing but take some pics.. Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

Harvested day 97. Buds started to break off

Melon Gum is not doing so good. I got root rot and she is struggling to finish. It's summer here and really hot. It's hard to keep water temps down. She will likely finish. Just not in all she could do. Leaves filling out, bud sites forming. In need of another trim to clean up the canopy.

and here we go. another week has passed and she is still doing very well. the stem is nice and thick and the buds are also getting thicker. there is not really much to report. we are at about 12 hours of daylight. some leaves have got an autumnal colouring

Going really well moved lights up so still sitting 18" above highest point and keep LSTing, tucking and defoliating regularly she looks good... I Think.
