A bunch of deficiencies coming along.

The Jack47XL Auto was germinated in a Peat Pellet which took seven days for her to break ground. Within two days there were roots popping out of the bottom of the Peat Pellet. After she sprouted it was ON! By week two she had three set of leaves and she went into a 5g fabric pot to live out the remainder of her life. She started out short with tight node spacing and I was thinking she would be a fairly squat plant. But once she started to flower at around Day 30 +/- she absolutely took off on the stretch from hell! As she stretched her node spacing widened allowing plenty of light penetration through her canopy and her foliage never got super bushy requiring removing leaves. All in all she was a growers dream! I let her run for 10 full weeks and after her last Top Dressing at Week Seven she received only straight water that was ph'd to 6.7-6.8. After checking her trichomes daily during Week Ten and determining that she was where I wanted her, I placed her in the dark for 60 hours @ 64℉ and a RH of 45%. When I removed her from the dark I cur her off at her base and hung her whole in my Drying Room where she spent nine days drying @ 64-66℉ with the RH running at 50% for the first 24 hours, then raised to 60% for the remainder of the drying time. Being predominately sativa in her lineage, she grew fairly tall and maxed at 32". In addition to her height her really wide node spacing, which made defoliation or leaf tucking completely unnecessary, was so nice to deal with (or actually to NOT have to deal with!) and because of her structure and the way she grew, I decided not to do any LST other than gently bending a couple of her branches during Week Four when she was still short and bushy. After she was dried I trimmed her up and placed the flowers in two large Mason jars to cure. The flower is currently at 68% RH and I'm 'burping' the jars three times a day until it drops to around 62%. I did do a 'Test Press' with 7g of the flower and saw almost a 28% return of super light colored, almost clear, rosin that is some of the best I've pressed lately! 🔥 When you crack the jars your hit in the face with the sweetest aroma you've ever had the pleasure to smell...smell nothing like cannabis, more like a jar full of sugary sweet candy! 😍 Needless to say, I'm hooked on Sweet Seeds and head over heels for their Jack47XL autoflower and can't wait to run her again soon! Day 6 update - adjusted tie down points and watered. Still no pests and no other significant signs of stress. They ladies are happy and healthy. Day 3 update - Two of the plants have started transitioning into flower. Next week BB1 and BB3 will be dubbed in flower. BB2 pheno is strange I just can't quite tell if it's even in flower... it's lanky and strange. Temps have been steady and now that the heat in the home is on I have to watch heat stress again. BB3 has recovered fully now with new growth looking absolutely perfect. No problems with pests or anything else at the moment. ....Previously.... (day 7 of week 3 - day 1 week 4) One feeding of baking soda to raise the PH of the soil. I decided to tie the girls down the last day of week 3. The topped plant (Bb2) looks more like the strain should than the other 2 phenotypes according to pictures. But the BB1 pheno is so bushy it will be a bigger yeilder for sure. The Bb3 pheno has recovered a bit we will see if the baking soda addition to the top watering helps rebound her better. Selective defoliation was done on all 3 phenos with some under growth getting removed and a couple target fan leaves blocking prime budsites.

D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! Everything is going good happy with the progress, I flipped the lights about 5 days ago and put another net up yesterday just to see the stretch progress, I started to use bio bloom and bio topmax with feeds. Hopefully I start to see some little buds forming. 😃

A Excited Welcome 🏆 I have just added this extra week in my diary as I have so many great photos of my beautiful Watermelon Auto girl from RQS which I must recommend growing as she is a stunner with large buds that smell delicious.😊 This girl is now defently finished and I'm getting ready to chop her down she has gone past and I would recommend giving her a good 10-12 weeks as it's not until late that all her colours and smell comes out. I'm now not watering her for a couple of days then into the dark for another couple of days fortunately she hasn't many leaves to trim she's all bud. I'm sad she's done but excited to smoke. Day 56. Plants look good today almost ready to flip into flower, but I have a vacation this weekend so they will have to wait. Day 59 Back from vacation and the plants look great! Today is their first day at 12/12 light schedule. Tured the Growers Choice ROI-720 led up to 50% and I raised it to maintain 24" from canopy. I did some light defoliation around the base of the plants. I watered Plants B and D today. Day 60 Couldn't get humidity to drop below 75% so I got a dehumidifier and dropped it to 65%. Day 61 Plants look good. I'll try to water plants A and C tomorrow morning Day 62 Watered Plants A and C this morning. Did some more defoliation and bent some more tops down under the net. Plants look good besides plant D had 1 leaf that was completely wilted and dead. The rest of the plant appears fine.

Thật tiếc vì tôi đã không chụp lại thật nhiều ảnh của chúng. Sẽ có 1 cuộc lựa chọn ở đây vì tôi chỉ cần mỗi loại 1 cây, và tất nhiên những cây khoẻ hơn sẽ được giữ làm cây mẹ.

The little growing really good,so helped her a bit adding some flowering nutrients,that she's welcoming strongly.so i did some defoliation,maybe change a bit the lst then let her grow before defoliating more later. Oh,i started a New grow with 3 different seeds so you will see them on later pics surely 😏

Wieder einmal nicht zufrieden! Die Ladies sind super super langsam in der Entwicklung gegenüber allen photoperiodischen Sorten die ich in den letzten Jahre gegrowt habe. Ich verstehe nicht was hier falsch läuft. Normalerweise würde ich jetzt neu anfangen und diese Ladies töten😁.Aufgrund eines Umzuges geht es aber nicht und die Zeit ist beschränkt. Klima passt, Substrat wie immer, die zwei Parameter die ich zum ersten mal teste ist der Dünger von Advanced Nutrients und Autoflowers….bei einer Ladi sind die ersten Zeichen der Vorblüte zu sehen. Wenn die Ladies nicht noch richtig viel wachsen gibt es eine Katastrophe. Wenn jemand einen Tipp hat meldet euch gerne. Temperatur zwischen 21 und 24 Grad RLF zwischen 50-65 % Düngemenge 60-70 % der Empfehlungen lt Düngeplan. In meinen Augen müssten die Ladies doppelt so groß und breit sein. Die Idee ist jetzt das erste mal zu flushen, ist eigentlich immer gut. Bis nächste Woche…. Peace
