Mass defoliation and more tie downs in prep for 12/12. Might flip sooner than first planned. The Barneys Farm strains are looking amazing. The others are coming along very nicely. Flipped to 12/12 mid week due to various reasons. All 9 are looking incredibly healthy. I swear by Biobizz, always good results. These will be frosty AF.

7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days. Going good a few leaves here & there that got a bit of discoloration but I'm not worried. So far anyway. The Wolverines is starting to impress me & the r2ar , green crack, zkittles started to take off nicely. The midnight looks a live & evolving nicely. The CBD strain so far seems like they want to kick some ass. Acdc took off fast & is staying ahead but the past week the cbd # 1 is slowly catching up. Changing them around the tent trying to make sure they all get enough light. Probably gonna invest in better lighting for next crop

Flushed it

Almost there. Will start flushing tommorow. Smells mental now and plenty of frost. Buds are rock hard even the lower ones. Interesting to see what they yield. The tops are all quite small but so dense. Can’t wait to try it now.

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

Cherry A causing me all sorts of issues. She's falling on top of Cherry B. And in turn, Cherry B is hitting into my other plants (Grandpa Stash). Also noticed what looks like pollen sacs on day 78.

Day 86: Everything continues the same way light, ventilation, humidity... water intake raied up 450ml daily. Buds are getting thicker Zkittlez form the Bakery Seed Co. is in flush with 2nd week now... No fertilization 2nd week...Next week is harvest time. I start flushing Blue Sherbet S1 this week and stop fertilizing as well She should be ready on the 14th-15th week. Fruit Tree and 24K Gold need more time so my plan is to start flushing them from next week to be done by the 15th, 16th week. Today I watered them after 2 days except Zkittlez because she is in flush. I am happy with them only one thing that I don't like is the LED I bought. It is weak, I should have sticked with the previous one. It can be stronger better results with more dense buds but I think I have done the maximum with this LED. But the Girls are nice let's see the outcome soon. ✌️ Day 87: Very strong smell in my room! !!! Marijuana ❤️🤭😂 Day 89: Last day watering for Zkittlez. Friday, Saturday, Sunday no more water and on Monday is harvest!🤭 Day 90: Today I have changed the old lamp just wanted to get rid of it and placed a new Viparspectra PAR 600W.

********Week 1 Flower - Sept 19 to 25, 2020******* We switched to flower this week and put in the first SCROG layer.....been busy😃These girls have been pretty happy this week given they have grown quite tall and buds are setting and moved on to stacking already. Great signs so early on😎🤞 I had LST on the girls and then decided to remove the ties since they were topped and under a net so maybe stretch wouldn’t be too bad.......ties went back on at the end of the week😃💪🤪 Pheno 4 has on branch that had HST done and knuckle formed, still growing up so had to keep it tied down as well. Down side to running a 9 week veg, if they want to get big, they will😂😂😂 Pest maintenance this week as we are getting the last days I am able to comfortably spray the girls. Lost Coast Plant Therapy to keep the gnats, aphids and thrips in check😃 Keeping the waterings up and getting a fair bit of runoff from the feedings but that is best for Coco to avoid lockouts and pH issues. There were only three feeding days this week. We switched to bloom nutes for base and added silica for supplementals. Vitamin B and Kelp coming from B52 and sweetener for the microbes from bud candy, Bud Ignitor doing its thing as PK boost. As well as Sensyzime to let the enzymes clean up the root zone because they have been in the pots for a few weeks now. Little more detail: Sept 19/20 - Day 1 - Plant Therapy @ 5ml in 1L water. Ph to 5.4. - Folier spray applied to whole tent half hour before lights on, used 3/4 of mixture - Feeding mixture was Sensyzime @ 1ml only - 25ppm and 5.2pH......missed it a bit. - each girl given 3L - SCROG put in Sept 20/20 - Day 2 - Sprayed the last of the IPM mixture on the tent tonight. - Noticed several small shinny spots on leaves later today.....suspect from Folier spray on leaves. Sept 21/20 - Day 3 - Nice full strength week 1 mixture applied today - Rhino Skin, Cal Mag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom A&B , B52, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy @ 1ml. - 625 ppm and 5.7pH - 3L given to each girl.......not enough runoff.....bump feedings up to 4L going forward. - silica added today. Sept 23/20 - Day 5 - CalMag @ 2ml, Rhino, Sensi Bloom A&B, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml. - 850ppm and 5.9pH - 4L given to each girl. - better run off amount That wraps up the first week of flower........The net is in and the lights flipped. The girls were ready for flower and now we just need to keep giving them what they want for the next 6 weeks and then coast from there👍 These are some strong and fast growing girls.....keeps a grower on their toes! I expected the heights to be where they are but must admit I was hopeful that was the end of week 2. Issues will come in when trying to ripen the bud around week 8. They are growing so well right now.....keep them happy and in the end everyone is happy👍❤️👍 Such a solid strain @Sweet_Seeds......a great hybrid you should be very proud of!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.
