2/1/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 1
I have 21 weeks until final photo is do.. I took 3 seeds out of cold storage and will let them get to room temp for the next 48 hours before I go with Glass of water for germination. I have 3 beans because I will start from the very beginning helping ensure I present the best Pheno. This is going to be a fun one.. I am a few days away from being able to clear my tent out for this run.. I have a breeding run in right now and the Seeds are a few days away from being mature enough for me to take down the girls.
Once I get them down I will need to get my tent cleaned up and turned over right away. This is going to be close, I will have to time them to the water and into the tray at the right time.. because I will need to get lighting on them right away.. I have my 2X2 and my light ready incase I need to hold them in the cloning machine if the others are not done in the next few days.. Glad I have options that can stretch me out for a week or 2 to give me a little more time.
2/2/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 2
I checked on my breeding run to see how close the seeds are and if the tent is ready for me to clear and clean but alas I am still going to need a few days. I setup the emergency 2X2 and that should give me 2-3 weeks. The plan is to still wait one more day to allow the beans to warm up to room temp and then drop them in Water sometime tomorrow.
Form my Emergency 2X2 I have the following:

2/3/2024- Germination Activities Day 0 - Dropped the Beans in.. Today is 0 day.. Go.. Go .. Go..
2/4/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-1 - Checked in on them this morning and no tap roots yet.. covered them back up and back in to the closet they went. I setup the Root Riots and the Seed tray for them. I Ensured my water that I was soaking the root riots in was PHed to 5.8 and I used RO water.
Afternoon Update: Checked on my Breeders and they are done. I started to harvest them, I took down the one I had reversed with STS and I took down the Black African Magic- All but one bud, I wanted to get some pics of that one today.
I was only able to get 2lbs into the Cannatrol because I had to be very careful to keep the bud from the plant that was treated with the STS separated from the other seeded bud that was pollenated from the plant I reversed.
Cannatrol could have held an additional 2oz of wet but not today. Ideally I need 1 more Cannatrol so I can take an entire Tent, but will figure that out. I put an additional 1.5lbs into the freezer to wait it's turn into the Cannatrol, I would have left it on the plant and taken it in 4 days when the dry cycle gets done but wasn't sure how much 2.2 lbs was equivalent to chopped and wet trimmed.
2/5/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-2 - Checked in on them this morning and 2 of them have very small tap roots out.. one still doesn't going to give them some more time. I will check in on them this evening and see if they are more open if so I will transfer the ones that are ready to their medium and seed tray.
2/6/2024- Planting Day TRUE Germination Day 0- Checked in on them this morning and all 3 of them have tap roots out. I broke the bottom of the tap root for #1 which was the biggest.. pretty sad.. I hope she survives.. I tried to be careful it just snapped off when I was trying to get it in the root riot right. Other than that all three are now in their in-between home in the 2X2 while if finish clearing and cleaning out their forever homes.
2/7/2024- Germination Day 1- Checked in on them and no surprise no sprouts yet. Sprayed the dome to moist it and light spray to the tops of the Root Riots.
2/8/2024- Germination Day 2- #3 is popped and it looks like #2 will be popped by this evening.. I got my second Cannatrol today so now I can take down the rest of the tent and get it into the dry/cure.
2/9/2024- Germination Day 3- #2 is popped as well.. so I have #2 and #3 up and still waiting to see on #1 but that might be a loss since I accidently broke off some of the Tap root when transplanting.
2/10/2024- Germination Day 4- #1 has Popped... We have ignition on all 3.. YAY!! I finished clean up and install of RDWC system, this time was unique the back left buckets 3 inch pipe wasn't seated correctly so I had to clean up about 12 gallons of water all of the floor. I also had two leaks coming from one of the Waterfall return junctions, this is why I do a full pressure test before I put anything in. I will continue to monitor it through tomorrow to ensure that I am good to go and then I will finish setting up the baskets and prepping the water to be ready for the ladies planting day!!!
2/11/2024- Germination Day 5- #1 Of course is going to be my trouble plant.. No matter what If she lives through planting in the system and making it, I think I might not cull her at all regardless, she has been such a problem, makes me wonder if she will be super worth it towards the end.. We will see as we go through this grow, but #1 has a piece of the shell on the leaves,
Other than that I set up a new thing I have been doing since last grow converting my Baskets into Sure plants so I can see exactly where the water is when I plant them and ensure I have the water up high enough that they are able to access it and grow but not too high were they are drowning.
2/12/2024- Germination Day 6- Everything seems to be going good.. will just keep them moist and let the roots grow for a few more days before I transplant to forever home.
2/13/2024 - Germination Day 7- Just keeping them Moist.
2/14/2024 - Germination Day 8 - Planting day.. they are now in the system.. :-)I had to fill the water to the bottom of the basket where I could see water on the bottom rocks and just coming up where I had created my whole/ sure plant.
2/15/2024 - Germination Day 9- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water. I ensured the PH is right at 5.98-6.02 range.
2/16/2024 - Germination Day 10- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water.

Blacked out all windows in the shed and moved Moby Dick plants here from greenhouse to ensure flowering as they are now in darkness for 13 hours uninterrupted. Growing very well for 7 week old. Ran into some nitrogen deficiency problems as these Phenos are very nutrient demanding but still no problems. Will keep in flower for 4 weeks and bobs your uncle

Неделя прошла в болоньей с желтизной и после обрезки жёлтых листков я думал победил все проблемы но Блекберри решил начать пускать пятна бурые пытаюсь победить их! В целом неделя прошла ровно!
Чуть вывалился из дневника, но следущий гров буде вести более внимательно и разберусь с этим сайтом) а пока перейдём на следующую неделю.)

En su 12° Semana llegamos a su fin. Hemos realizado un lavado de raices para dejar reposar la planta, eliminar todos los nutrientes que ya no aportarán mucho y con ello mejoraremos mucho el sabor de la hierba final.
Por esta semana no creo que actualice nada a no ser que haya algún problema pero en principio solo repasará para la semana que viene cortarla.

12-16-2024 - Plants continue to do well. Found some rust spots on several of the leaves for the Granite Runtz...could be a bit of over-feeding as I top dressed recently despite being on Grow Dots...not too worried about it though. These guys are drinking like crazy so there is plenty of time between feedings where they're getting a little flush action. I'm going to guess that we're about 3-5 weeks out from chopping these down and I'm impressed with their size so far. Now I'm really just waiting for the buds to continue developing and see what kind of size we can put on these gals. This grow has gone unbelievably well and I feel like I have the tent dialed in pretty good. More to come!
12-17-2024 - Well this morning the girls got a bath in Recharge and Sweet Berry. They were very thirsty! The nuggs on these plants are getting massive and I'm expecting to see branches start to struggle to carry the load. At this point I'd say they're probably 3-4 weeks out from chop...but that is a very loose estimate. I'll keep a close eye on them as we go. Having so much fun watching these girls grow huge. CANNOT wait to weigh these things dry. I really think I'm gonna be close to a pound with this tent.
12-19-2024 - Got some nutrient burn going on with the Granite Runtz...just the top leaves and other than some orange speckles on the leaves the flowers look good and overall the plant looks healthy. The GR's have by far the thickest/most dense flowers of the three. The Frosted Cherry O's look very balanced and is the most attractive plant in the tent. The Mystery Seed, which is the only one I topped, is just growing in every direction and has tons of flowers but is clearly behind the rest in terms of maturity. I'd say in a few days to a week it'll be much thicker. Today I watered each plant with 3 Liters of dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.5. I'll take a look at them on Saturday morning and see how dry they are. Basically they're drinking a half gallon of water per day. Probably 4 weeks out from harvest is my best guess right now.

How’s growing everyone, just to let you know that nothing new happened, the babies are in a fantastic shape. One of them is nearly ready so i will begin to flush it a bit. Otherwise, all is great, no defficiencies so i'm very happy. I hope you are all well in this terrific moment. The second wave is coming and i just hope we can all get well and do our crops. Week 8 for Black Lebanon by SSSC
She's also been loving the high humidity/rain as she's really starting to gain size😍She barely skipped a beat after being topped & a little defoliation. Just letting her branches get a little longer/stronger before i start to pull her side ways more.
She's generally a taller/lankier strain compared to the gelato 41.
With how its been raining i wont be watering her for a while easily until next week if not longer depending how hot its going to be getting as were expecting 33 degrees plus coming in this week.

This week was hottt.
I have been out sic l8ly sorry 4 no updates.
The girls r still growing strong. With very little maintenance.
I gave them each 5 gallons of water with nutrients on Sat, (early morning since it was a heat wave)
I defoliated (the lower branches became shaded out) and now the little bushes are taking upon a more tree like appearance.
They are all just under the 7 ft roof, with training.
They were hitting the roof and getting wet (morning dew), so i put more fans inside, (also the 90+ outside temps).
No problems with heat.
I will start making preparations 2 switch them 2 flower at the end of this month :)

Hello colleagues!
As I expected, in the middle of the week all the plants bloomed, especially pleased that almost in unison, including our medical strain. I did nothing except remove the extra large burdocks, I will do a thorough defoliation after the large "dandelions" appear. In the meantime, I continue to observe.
The lamp power is still 75%

These ladies are doing so great! Stretching up creating flowers along the way! I may need to trim the lower branches in time in order to not waste necessary energy being a solo but I’m feeling when I run Anesia autos in bigger pots in 6 weeks they’ll be no issues!

1.5 - This lady had some fungus gnat damage and reveg'd a bit so I decided to practice my bubble hash method. I didn't even weigh it haha, I totally forgot but looks about .75oz (21g) Turned out really well! Very strong stoney, sedative high. I accidentally mixed my 76-120 and 120-220 from the first wash, during microplaning, so it's like 4.7* I think. The 25-76um is a little better. Totally worthy of a nail, though I wish I could give it a melt on some quartz to see. :) The other big, non-revegged LA Sunset looks completely different and is thriving. Expecting to put her in the dark this weekend.0
1.28 - I harvested the second full size LA Sunset and it is amazing. Gassy, chocolaty, very pungent.

Mandarin XL auto is growing great. She had a solution change early week. She has been growing steady, but is not showing any pistils yet. Which is fine. I seen plants get really big when they take a long time to start flowing. Everything is looking good. Thank you Gen1:11, Medic Grow, and Ganja Farmer. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱

Hello everyone,
Even tho I've been busy around the house this week, I took a few minutes and transplanted these into 5 gallon fabric pots, get them going early in some super soil. Lets see how they turn out. Ill have better picture's for you guys next week...

hurz og is a great plant to grow nice early finishing strain shes absolutely covered in trichs and some beautiful colours she smells like a fruity kush and gets a great structure with good size buds all the way down looking forward to the harvest report thanks for reading happy growing guys

The plant of course is much more smaller with the restricted root zone causing a bonsai effect. However, she performed really well under the circumstances with a relatively large yield all things considered. I usually smoke high CBD but was very impressed with this high. Let's see how it goes after spending more time under the influence.
Review...
Growing in the solo cup sized container proved to be much more challenging than a regular grow. The plant soon became stressed dealing with the tiny root zone making everything hyper sensitive. The first issue was showing as tip burn even though the ppm was kept in the 650-850 range. Then the leaves showed a general yellowing overall specially showing at the bottom fan leaves. At this point I was changing the nutrient solution every 2-3 days trying different nutrient brands and concentrations seemingly without much success. It was a nerve wracking period which ultimately lead me back to General Hydroponics with amendments. I did learn that the plant can weather the storm even with less than perfect vegetative leaves while she focuses all her energies into calyx production. It’s was upsetting to see less than stellar health but eventually all the leaves drop and the flowers power on seemingly without issue.
The cascading diamond structure developed as a result of a couple broken branches that occurred during the training process in an effort broaden the plant profile with wider lateral spacing. Although initially upset when the fractured branches that withered after being bandaged up and . After removal of said branches it was exciting to see the new possibilities. The cascade formation called for additional side lighting to maintain uniform bud size all the way down the front lower end of the plant. I was looking to create a stadium like effect.
The experience of operating the visual hydroponic unit called for a number of practical adjustments along the way. Although initially, very excited with the system concept as an integrated design with nutrient solution supply and gravity drain through the pump, with the air supply inside the pipe with the air bubbler acting as the drain/root filter... in hindsight, obviously, it would not work as the root mass became denser and denser. The first issue, as the path of least resistance, the air was forced back down the nutrient supply pipe. This prevented the pump from priming itself and subsequently no nutrient solution delivery was even possible. As a result, the original air stone was left in place to prevent the roots from entering the nutrient tank and a new bubbler stone simply added to the tank itself.
Although the original idea was for the air to be continuously pumping directly through the roots, the flood and drain would actually be just as good when drawing the fresh air in and out with each pump/drain of nutrient solution. The ON cycle was initially set to 10 seconds which eventually became 30 seconds as the roots mass grew denser. This proved to be too unreliable as the fill level was no longer consistent which required constant monitoring to be sure that there was no flooding over and above the container lid. It which case, a simple feeder tube to the top of the root zone was the best option. The ON cycle was set to 5 seconds with a 15 minute OFF interval. Overall the biggest concern was the timer itself, which had several bad reviews for malfunctions with growers losing their plants. However, I have no choice as this was one of the few timers that was capable of cycling down to the second but it all workout fine in that regard… no problem.
Was it a perfect grow?... no, definitely not. However, as a relative beginner, it was definitely a great learning experience. Mostly, I need to work on the nutrient blend and concentration. For more control, a backup tank with float valve delivery to maintain the water level for this particular system would be a good idea as well.

She’s finally finished battling some phosphorous and calcium deficiencies, and she’s starting to get thicker. I’ve had to cut away a lot of larfy undergrowth and leaves, and I think she’s set all the way to finish now. Hopefully less than a month left, but based on the pistils it may take longer. Some autoflower 😂
