February 2, 2021 (Week 4, Day 29): The plants grew enough overnight to top at the third node. This is the second and last time I'll be topping these plants - this is the Nebula method of manifolding. I also took off the second node of each growth stem as well as the original fan leaves. I've pressed them in my plant press to save the memories of my experience with my first grow. I also redid the LST on every plant. The new growth sites I've pinned to the fan leaves. I really enjoy doing LST, it's quite therapeutic to figure out just how to support the plant without harming it. I think I am getting great lateral growth so far. The main growth stems are swelling a lot at the bases. Medium is still wet from yesterday - lightly tilled about a half inch of top soil. I've turned down the humidity another 5% this week. I'll keep it there most likely until I start the flowering cycle. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. Plants are happy, and I am happy. 😸 February 3, 2021 (Week 4, Day 30): Plants are looking good this morning. The nitrogen toxicity in Unknown 2 is beginning to subside. Now Unknown 1 seems to be having a nitrogen toxicity as well - slight leaf curling at the ends with a very lush and dark green color. I am assuming this soil is still very hot. As I've lowered the humidity I suspect more nutrients are being sucked in through the roots instead of transpiration through the leaves. I think the plants are going to take a little bit to get used to the hot soil, but I bet once they do they'll be as happy as ever. Medium is still slightly moist this morning, no watering. I tilled a half inch of top soil again to keep everything aerated. Most likely will water tomorrow or the next day. My LST seems to be holding nicely. I tied down Unknown 2's first growth tips as the fan leaves have finally straightened out after the topping yesterday. New growth tips are emerging nicely from the third node of each lateral stem. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else to report for today. February 4, 2021 (Week 4, Day 31) : Growth looks good overnight. I think this second topping is confusing the plants a bit. Lots of bulking of the stems, but not much lateral growth. I have a feeling they'll take off over the next few days. They're still growing really well. I posted a grow question last night having to do with little white bead-like structures growing on the surfaces of the leaves on every plant. I was concerned it may be a mold or fungus starting to grow. I did a bunch of research and it seems to be early trichome development called "sessile glands". I still have the question open and I am trying to get confirmation. Really hoping if they're trichomes that's a good sign that these plants are going to be frosty. I uploaded some pictures to show the development. Over night they started to grow everywhere on the leaves - hopefully they really are just trichomes and I am being over-vigilant. Better safe than sorry. I watered the plants today without nutrients; 3 liters per plant pH'd to 5.8. Runoff sitting at ~6.5 pH now which is much better. I'll continue to run 5.8 pH solution until I see the pH of the soil come down to at least 6.2-6.3. Tomorrow I'll most likely have to defoliate a bit and tie down the second sets of growth stems, as they're beginning to stretch and grow vertically. Averaging 60% rH and 76℉. Happy growing all! 😸 February 5, 2021 (Week 4, Day 32): The plants are exploding with growth now. I defoliated the fan leaves from the first node on every plant and tied down the growth stem for lateral growth. These plants are meaty as hell. The stems are thickening really quickly and I am getting tons of foliage and stem growth. The third nodes are starting to come around. I think I figured out the "mold" issue I thought was starting. They're definitely trichomes, not mold. I touched the leaves that were sparkling and my fingertips got sticky, oily, and reeked of weed - so that's great news. The smell in my grow room is getting stronger every day. While defoliating this morning I found my first pre-flowers on Gelato 1! It looks like all the plants are female, but Gelato 1 threw some pretty pistils at me to get my attention. Seems like the plants are reaching maturity. Depending on growth over the next few weeks it may be time to switch to flower soon! I am aiming for about 16" in veg before switching. Seeing these pre-flowers made me so anxious for flowering. Unknown 1 and Unknown 2 are doing great as well - all the signs of the nitrogen toxicity have subsided. Unknown 2 has more trichomes on the leaves than any of the other plants, and its foliage is a beautiful deep green. They are either different phenotypes or different strains entirely as the two of them are growing and looking quite different. Unknown 1 is much lankier so I suspect a different strain. Unknown 2 is especially squat and I suspect it's 100% indica or close to it. Medium is still wet. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. No other news today. February 6, 2021 (Week 4, Day 33): Last 24 hours I have seen at least an inch of lateral growth per growth stem on each plant. These girls are absolutely loving life from the looks of it, they're growing incredibly fast. I redid a bunch of LST today. Had to move every tie up one node. Medium is still moist. Lightly tilled half inch of top soil. Gelato 1 is shooting out more pre-flowers. Thanks to my wife we have new friends that have joined us in the smart pots. 😸 Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. Happy weekend everyone! February 7, 2021 (Week 4, Day 34): These girls are chugging right along. Tons of great lateral growth every 24 hours at this point. Having to adjust LST pretty much every morning to accommodate for the crazy growth. Gelato 1 is a freak of nature - the fan leaves are gigantic. Defoliated again today; took the fan leaves from the third node of each plant. Will be defoliating the first node of the secondary growth stems tomorrow most likely. Medium is slightly moist. Tilled the soil again. Will be watering tomorrow morning most likely. There's still a little dropping at the ends of the leaves so I will hold off on nutrients until all nitrogen toxicity has subsided. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else for today. February 8, 2021 (Week 4, Day 35): Watered today with 3 liters of 5.8 pH filtered water per plant (no nutrients) - runoff around ~6.7-6.8 pH. Will most likely resume nutrients upon next feeding depending on how the plants look. Defoliated entire first node from center four growth stems and tied down third nodes. Readjusted outside LST. The plants are almost to the outside of the pot which is when I'll switch to vertical growth. Unknown 1 is very close to being let loose, it's also pre-flowering now. Gelato 1 is now covered in pre-flowers - it's definitely a happy plant. Unknown 2 is still the runt of the group but also appears to be almost 100% indica by how stout it is. It's showing sex but no pistils yet. All three plants seem to responding well to mainlining and the stress isn't making them skip a beat. Stems are getting huge. I downloaded an app on my phone to check how well my lights are doing and, if the readings are accurate, I am very impressed with these lights. I've read cannabis can handle around ~65 DLI, so I am right where I need to be. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. That ends week 4 of veg. Time is flying. Hoping to switch to flower in two weeks for a total of six weeks in veg. Getting super stoked to switch over! Happy growing everyone! 👽

Hello Diary, The fourth week of flowering is over and we are slowly heading towards the end. Last week I did defoliation, so now there is better air flow through the whole plant. The leaves took on a yellowish color, but the flowers were not affected. They are covered with trichomes that are now visible to the eye and have been given a beautiful dark purple color. The volume of the flowers themselves is smaller than that of her roommates Purple Punch, I hope it will fill up a bit. As you can see in the photos, the Watermelon has a nice shape, it just looks gorgeous to me. In one watering I added Biobizz and that was the last addition of nutrients for her. From now on just flushing. Conditions in the growbox are good, the temperature varies around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Now comes the stage when I start observing the development of trichomes through a microscope, it’s a special experience for me, like I’m looking at something from another planet. Here's a brief overview of the week: 11/03/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I didn’t add any nutrients, I just lowered p.H. water at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 36% humidity. 13/03/2021 - Day 46. Watering. p.H. I downgraded to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the current week. This will be the last addition of nutrients. From now on only clean water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26 degrees and 39% humidity. 16/03/2021 - Day 49. So to start, I did a small leaf strip a few days ago. I like to do small leaf strips ones a week the last few weeks of flower. Now not big, Im Talking 15-20 leaves tops. Don't want to over stress the plant at this stage but also want to make sure the buds below are getting enough light. The temperature has dropped a bit outside so the tent is running cooler then it was. Honest it got all week was 22.5c, but also only got up to 20c one night. Unfortunately this tent is right next to the door out of my grow space so all the cold air is coming through. Going to need to look at replacing the door with something that fits a bit better, or look at adding something to this door to help. Next to that the plant is looking amazing so far. Hey folks into week 15. Ladies are in full flowering mode. Just the usual watering but we are now adding 100ml of molassas to 5 gal of water. Also been doing selective defoiliation so prime bud sites can get good light pen. See yall on the next update.

We are getting a nice quick start just like always from fastbuds. I'm starting this week now with a video of our 5 gallon home. I will add more pics through out the week. Please come back to follow along! I'm so excited about this grow! It's been a few days but I wanted to update you all. The #1 plant got eaten by something. I threw that soil out and started over again. The # 2 plant has a tap root showing and is in the pot as of today May 30th. I'm keeping a close eye on the bug situation. May 31st- the replacement seed for plant 1 has cracked open has a tail and will be popping up any time now! I do have fungus gnats, I did a soil drench with sns 709 and put out stick yellow traps. Hopefully this will do.

Still week 12 changed to 12/12 on day 90, thought my system is working properly now and nutrient solution seems to be alright now.. maybe it can improve but its fine for now. They are growing ridiculous fast even when its not in perfect conditions, im definitely staying with rdwc the stem of this plant is about 3-4 cm big wich is insane before flower

******** Week 9 - Feb 3 to 9/20 (Days 57 - 63 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs are turning this week. Kind of a boring week in a way because she has been such an awesome girl to grow!! Have not spent anytime looking at Trich colour this week.....too early anyway. Trying to keep her environment correct so she is happy and those buds swell. Continue to reduce the temperature slightly during the day and night as well as lowering the humidity. She is a very pretty girl and has certainly impressed me now at weeks 7 to 9.......this is a learning grow though because I was not sure what to expect in weeks 3 to 5 but now understand the genetics better. Growing another girl in a 1 gal pot at the same time, just short of 2 weeks behind, and learning from that girl as well so we know the best way to run the last 4 seeds. Hint......I don’t feel 1 gal pot will be the winner and suspect a 3 gal might be the one for me and my style. What I have reflected on is that this girl has been very impressive to grow even though I have thrown curve balls at her. A little more attention to the LST ensuring a more even canopy and lighten the feedings, this girl can impress!😍 She didn’t like the light intensity in early weeks and preferred a lower pH. Given that she was slow growing at the start I was unsure of how far to push LST and obviously should have tied down her main cola but she was more resilient than I gave her credit for. On bigger branches I would clip off another one of the lower nodes than I did to give a little more energy to fill in the tops. Not sure this girls top cola will fill in as much as one would like but her side branches are making up for it and will definatley add to the weight.........take your time girl😀 Much debate this week over how long she will run in order to determine her last feed.🤪 She had her last feed three times😃 but it was finally Saturday Feb 8, Day 62 as the last day of feed. Plan it to just flush with water and Rezin & Liquid Weight to the end.....or early 70’s anyway if she will hold out that long🤞 She still has several nice white hairs but the red guys, drying, did happen a fair bit this week. She is ripening up. Almost picking up speed but hard to say.....my guessing so far has been off when trying to read this girl so “I am just along for the ride” hope she has a couple more weeks in her yet.😁 The long lanky grows often have you wishing they would have stayed just another 6” shorter.😀 Had to keep the lights higher in the tent to accommodate this girl and now tough to raise as high as I would like for Skywalker. It’s all good though as she is filling in along with the other girls👍She has pretty buds to look at but they are not swelling as much as I would like yet. Hope that comes soon and will continue to lower the temps. Environment is getting colder at night. Crystal production has been strong and very impressive! Changed the light schedule again this week. Moved her to 19.5 hours of light because she is still not falling to sleep at lights out. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, will likely use Flawless Finish to flush the medium. Little more detail: Feb 3/20 - Day 57 - Water feed today. Runoff in tray was 5.95pH from yesterday. - 3L plain water with Sensyzime @ 1.5ml/L. 100ppm and 6.4pH going in. - still trying to raise the medium slightly to over 6.0. Sensyzime to clean up the roots and eat the waste making more food. - Her red hairs are coming out pretty prominent now on some buds. Feb 4/20 - Day 58 - Full feed today. Pot still had some weight. - 3L off full feed with 1125ppm and 6.05pH - Runoff water in tray before feed: 800ppm and 6.1pH - Runoff water in tray after feed: 1000ppm 6.0and pH - Heavy leaf strip today. Almost anything with a stem was removed. Feb 5/20 - Day 59 - nothing today. - She is ripening more now. She is happy and her tips are up:) - Red hairs continue to come out towards the top of the girl. - Light cycle changed to 19.5hrs on and 4.5hrs off. Feb 6/20 - Day 60 - Verify medium today....close to flush - 3L feed of Sensyzime and Rezin @ 2ml/L and Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L. = 100ppm and 5.8pH - Runoff was 1050ppm and 6.05pH. Feb 7/20 - Day 61 - Nothing today, still heavy. - She appears to be swelling more on her buds. Feb 8/20 - Day 62 - ********Last Feed******** - Giving a bit of a flush with Sensyzime, Rezin, and Liquid weight @ 2ml. - 6L feed with 100ppm and 5.8pH going in. - Runoff - 600ppm and 6.15pH. Good numbers but wouldn’t mind the ppm around 1,000. - Evening giver her last full strength feed as listed for the week. - 2L feed going in was 5.7pH. Want to try and keep it around the 6.0pH mark as she seems happy slightly lower pH. - Medium got a good soak and good runoff amount - That will be it. Hope she goes 10 to 14 more days.... Feb 9/20 - Day 63 - Dry out day - raised the light a bit.....will use lower pH water in flush thinking 5.8. - She has some nice buds. She has fattened up and her buds are forming “tips” now. - Again....frosty frosty girl. Been busy lately. Missed some updates. Week 10 just punched out. Been quite a ride, the girls are looking fantastic to my liking. Some nute problems with NL but she seems happy now and on her way to finish strong. The Purple punch smells just delicious i wouldn’t believe if anyone told me the plant could smell mango+pineapple. So sweet. Cant wait for the trichs to show a little amber and chop them down. The buds a so sugary.

Day 48 Gelato - day 48 - Defoliation was done. The broken branch healed and sprouted new branches. She cannot boast much about his height. But it is very beautiful, I hope we will grow 50 centimeters in flowering 👌 Day 44 Peyote - The growth process continues unabated. I am waiting for the desired size. 8 days after flowering it didn't grow as much as I thought it would, so we went back to the growing season. 👽 Day 49 Peyote - I decided not to cut the leaves anymore after much defoliation. It easily tolerates strong stress easy to grow.
