This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

The beginning of flowering is going well. They were left alone for three days with temperatures that were too low (17–21°C); I fixed that today. The leaves are a bit heavy and droopy, nothing serious in my opinion! 🌱🌱🌱🌱

1st week of flush is done the expected results is the fade, this ladies are coming to the end of their cycle. one more week of just water, I will flush again on 2/1 then let them dry out in the pots for the last week 13. When they are dry I will black out for 48hrs to increase the Trichomes and then the chop. they look to have slowed down in growth from the time-lapse I don't think they will get significantly bigger than they are now. so I hope the flush will help with the smoothness and curing and white ash as a result.

1-5 week 4 of vegeration and the Girls goes very well. Distance between lamp and plants is 60 cm. Ppfd is 840 umol/s. 5-5 a nice screen of Green at the moment and i think first flowering begins.🙂

Just a little defoliation this week, not much else. The main cola is getting nice and big and it’s very dense. The rest of the coals are not very big but this plant has got little buds growing all over the place. I think this plant still has a couple of weeks to go but will have to wait and see, the pistils are still pretty white. This is my first time growing so i don’t have anything to compare this small size to, might be genetics or it might be that I stunted this early on by not watering from the bottom or wrong water ph or what have you.

Some of the leaves starting to yellow slightly but as it’s coming to the end I think I will let it ride out might give a little pk booster but that’s about it

So we are in week 2 of flower I ran out of Dutch pro and my hydro shop didn't have any in stock so I had to swap to canna 450ml A&B I've also added some bud blood. So today I did some defoliation to anything below my scrog net and tucked some of the bigger fan leaves to expose the new bud sites. I also raised my light a few inches to allow the ladies to grow into it. 21/5/21 The girls are growing fast I did some defoliation 2 days ago and I had to repeat today 26/5/21 Took some fan leaves off that where blocking bud sites only a small handful needed to be removed, I gave them a feed ppm 946 ph 6.3, bud sites are looking nice and healthy I've got plenty of air flow throughout my tent, have yet to notice any aroma but still very early days. Thick colas stacking from top to bottom, glistening with frost under the lights. The pistils are slowly turning color, and the aroma is deep, sweet, and nostalgic — that unmistakable BlueBerry essence that makes this classic a legend. The trichomes are swelling beautifully, and bud density is impressive. 12/12 - Pinky is doing her Pinky thing again... some leaves are curling down and I basically blew a raspberry at her this morning... It's almost as if she is double-daring me to actually go into a frenzy trying to correct it - but what's to correct? Half of the leaves are curling down, half of them are perfect... so if I try to fix the curling, what happens to the ones that are perfect??? So I blew a raspberry at her and told her to just do her thing... Sigh. She's also doing her sativa thing - holy cow! I had to double check her height this morning because I couldn't believe it! 10" in a week... she's now standing taller than #2Bruce who is sitting right beside her... Cripes! If I ever grow a Sativa again, I'm going to aggressively LST it from germination! This is bloody ridiculous! Meanwhile, in her 5th week on this planet and in her 2nd week of flower, the flowers are slow to develop (no wonder... damned plant is putting everything into trying to reach my 7' ceiling!). She and I have a weird relationship... on MY end, it's a love/hate relationship but for her, I think she just loves taunting me.... 12/13 - Well. I've never had THAT happen before! Her EC and her pH are EXACTLY the same as yesterday! Maybe she's chortling away at us after I blew some raspberries at her yesterday! Maybe she's saying "oh, ok... she's on to me, I guess I'll have to quit being a goof" ... but maybe she's got something else up her sleeve she'll hit me with tomorrow? Don't trust her... I really don't! LOL! 12/15 - Had a bucket change yesterday and today she's telling me I didn't give her enough PK... what a cheeky little gal... so I obliged her wanton hunger. I didn't want to give more of the KoolBloom as you can really overdo it with that so I just fed her 3 more tsps of the Bloom... and she's happy! :-D 12/17 - I am completely entranced with this lady... mesmerized...
