Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Our Black Runtz by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but without making her go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were in quite evident over. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or in fact start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. Laughing Buddha is a long growing plant but will reward well, true to form, smells incredible, very sticky, neurtured from seed, low humidity - worked very well.

Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time I’m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. I’m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

Don't pay attention to the small pots. I'm gonna do another diarie for them because they are in another week. Now the regulation of humidity is great, i think that the plants do their own job regulating the humidity. I'm in love with the @TodoGrowLed led, so easy to install. Here we are in summer and the temperatures dont exceed 27-28 C° inside. I put some ice pack inside the indoor and the temperatures were between 20-26 :) In this week im gonna use neem oil with potassium soap, just for prevention. Im newy, don't judge me jaja i don't know if the distance between the knots it's ok (also, i don't know if that is the right word in english jaja)

Growing super well. Gave some molasses and kelp. The pot has an ample supply of bone meal and blood meal so I’m not concerned about nutrients... yet. It is a very supple willowy plant and winds here can be vicious going into late summer and worse in the fall so decided to start training. Video shows how even a modest breeze blows those thin leaves around.

Day 64 - flowers are so nice! - 201 watts of light a. the buds are covered in frost, this week will begin the Ripen b. added 5L of fresh spring water, ppms 900ppm, she likes 800-1100 ppm c. PH in DWC has been yellow the entire grow with hints the slightest hints of green from time to time, 6.0-6.1. d. uploaded video of grow e. like Pineapple Express, this plant will harvest a bit earlier than most of mine. pistils are turning colors fast. f. trichomes are very milky, still some clear, no amber yet Day 65 a. replaced the 5L gone in the DWC with fresh spring water b. will gradually take PPMs down closer to the 700 range for the ripening phase, tamping down with spring water for a week c. DWC has plenty of nutrients in it. d. the buds are incredibly sticky. Day 66 a. doing very well, the smell is very inenst, my carbon filter is not powerful enough to filter the smell... good thing I like the smell b. 4L gone from the DWC overnight, added more spring water, ppms down to 840 to get ready for Ripen tomorrow at 800ppm, probably 10 days or so. c. the trichomes are very milky, but there are plenty of clears still present. The pistils are turning nice colors, and no new pistils are forming! Day 67 - Ripening Day 1 - only TA Final Part (GHE Ripen) 5ml/L a. Started TA Final Part (GHE Ripen) at PH 6.0, 800ppm, she is loving it, consumed 4L overnight of Ripen solution b. I will keep the Ripen between 700 and 900ppm for the next week or more. c. The trichomes are filling fast, no ambers yet.. The buds are noticeably swelling Day 68 - Ripening Day 2 a. she is consuming 5L a day of ripening solution b. the buds are becoming noticeably larger, thanks Ripen you always work well! c. adding spring water to the DWC to top up and keep ppms between 600-800. Day 69 - Ripening Day 3 a. 4.5L gone overnight from the DWC, will top up with Ripen solution to keep ppms 600-800 b. the resin is very sticky and smells amazing, rubbing a sugar leaf and the fingers stick together Day 70 - Ripening Day 4 a. 5L gone from the DWC, topped it up with 1/2 strength ripen, ppms 800 b. the smell has overtaken the internal carbon filter and is coming out into the grow room c. she will be finishing up next week

28/11/22 - first week of bloom starts today, looking at doing another defoliation to free some sites up and removing small sites from the lower canopy - defoliated all of them quite heavily hopefully for the last time, removed small sites from the bottom
