This week went well for the Durban Nights. Not much to report, she hit day 14 today and is working on her 3rd node, I will transplant her in 48 hours, then hopefully top her in about a week or less. I will wait for her to grow at least 7 nodes so I am sure her roots are solid before the topping, but she will absolutely explode after transplanted into coco coir so that shouldnt be a problem. I will also complete the first two sets of toppings at the 3rd node, so that should shave a little time off as well as I previously completed the 2nd and 3rd toppings at the 5th and 3rd node to further spread out the plant. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. For this grow I've used, For the growth 1 sf1000 2 fan 15w 1 extractor 150mm 350m3/h 1 carbon filter 150mm 1 Hydro Shoot 60x60x140 1 timer 1 thermostat Heating system for the winter month To start pot 2l, after 8l 18 Hours On, 6 hours off light For the soil I've used plagron light mix and rqs pellets. For the blooming 2 sf1000 2 fan 15w Extractor + Filter 150mm 1 Lite 60 box 2 timers 4 RQS Fabric Pot 15l 12/12 Plagron batmix + RQS Pellet After harvest, I'll not use my usual carton dry, last time I've got mold on few big buds, si this time I've put the stuff in a room with 15w fan (see video), Thanks for all my friends! Day 84 (day 21 flower): Major defoliation on both the Brain Cake and Bakers Delight. Both the ladies are getting sticky! The Brain Cake smell is pretty neutral but the Bakers Delight has a bit more smell and reminds me a bit of a Tangine Kush (Rare Dankness) I grew a while back. Changed the water reservoirs to the flower bloom booster nutrients (Plagron green sensation). Day 86 (day 23 flower): They seem to be coming along nicely, a tiny bit of progression in the buds since defoliating. The Bakers Delight is more sensitive to nutrients so added some tap water to dilute the nutrients a little (TDS 510 -> 470). Day 87 (day 24 flower): Both doing well. The Bakers Delight seems to be reacting positively to the slightly lower nutrient concentration. Both water reservoirs between 5.7 and 6.3 at all times and around 20-21c. Day 89 (day 26 flower): Everything seems fine, water stats are stable, for as far as I can see no deficiencies or excess, bud are growing in height and seem to be producing nice amounts of thc giving the buds a slightly grey color. Some of the pistils are turning orange very early, might be due to stress the past weeks, or the new full spectrum light or just genetics. The Bakers Delight currently has a stronger smell, also a more peppery background. The Brain Cake has a neutral fresh 'plant material' green hash smell, nothing special going on yet with her odor. --> Slowly been hanging the light closer, at 50cm from the Brain Cake and 60cm from the Bakers Delight, will slowly lower till its approx 40cm from the Brain Cake and 50cm from the Bakers Delight (because the BD is 10 cm shorter...). Hopefully this will get the top buds to get even bigger and stronger and hopefully aswell the bottom buds will pull some weight and most importantly the bottom buds need to ripen as fast as the top buds which is usually the main issue when they dont get enough light... Curious to see how it plays out. Might need another minor defoliation around day 40-44.

Seventh week of flowering: I opted not to put a net to facilitate access to the room. As expected, the buds are starting to be too heavy. I hang them one by one, on hooks high up. The buds swell and still smell ! I increase the EC to 2.60 Good hydration, no dead leaves to remove. See you next week !

Maturing fast. Some botrytis unfortunately . Have to dig in to incoming air filtration to limit spores. Ac infinity terraform just been released maybe it could help with more sterile air.

Она буквально пожирает конкурентов в палатке занимая все место своими листьями и ветвями! Хорошо что скоро автоцветущие освободят палатку и все место, свет и внимание останется только для нее! Тогда и переведу на цветение. (Начиная с этой недели буду выкладывать фото и видео роста в реальном времени.)

they did okay rough weather this week. i made a little greenhouse for them good humidity if the sun in on it. only gave them once ph water. both strains grow equally atm only this time i dont know about the feeding , someone recomend auto feeding? i have biobizz products and guano , keep growing ✌️

Smell has become very strong. I will soon have to hang a net to give the plants support.

Final week for the blue dream The fade came fast i didnt even flush Its a small plant but thet yield will be great, i grew her in soil to see if i could fit 9 in my 4x4 and the answer is yes

Shes reached 4 feet tall this week😎🌿 Did some defoliating to unblock some of the bud sights.🌺 She took well too last weeks flush & is back on the recommended regimen. 💉 Cant wait to see how these 2 turn out. This is supposed to be a 7 week flower strain but probably gonna let go for 8 weeks flower.🤷‍♂️🏽

I'm back with another update. I could'nt hard bend them alot because the stems got thicker, if i would had done that, branches would had snapped. On the other hand the shamans had their stretch(already 2 weeks into flowering) and will not go any bigger, maybe a bit but not that much. (As a reminder, i bend them alot because i don't want them to get higher then my balcony fench) So I only have to bend the critical kushes a little bit for a few weeks until they had their 2 weeks into flowering stretch. Hopefully i will get a nice cantopy again. I gave them a little bit more nutrients(ec 2) because when i checked my run-off, it was still on a lower level, saw some difiencies and yellow leafs. Indicating that they can have more nutrients. Update: Compare this week with last week and see the difference. By just giving them the propher love they need, they will get better! Next update will be the end of this week like always and i can tell you they are starting to look better. Also i have to keep remind myself that this is just a outside fun grow haha and not anything to serious because when i gave them only water today I checked the run-off and all plants had different levels of ph and ec, which for me is normal because i'm used to alot of plant at the same time and never cared about it(cost alot of energy and time), but with just having 4 plants, it is tempting to do something about it like making seperate feed buckets for every plant haha.

despite the maximum temperature with lights on she grows very well, drinks a lot and I hope she will produce dense and juicy buds soon. 😂

Brothers and sisters farmers. My job here is over! Growth was rather difficult because of the heat, but I believe that this strain is the only one who perhaps kept more than all the others, rediscovering to give me the solid nuggets!
