This has been a shit show last week with the left side plant getting sick. I let it drink so much down that pH was off and it reacted real quickly to that. I loathe this part of autos. They veg, start a stretch, throw pistils, then they just coast for 2 weeks doing nothing it seems but some slight stretching more , this happened last auto grow. 10/19: I fed today. Only one plant has any signs of deficiency..an Orange Sherbet that needs more Mg than everybody else. Serious stink now! Wow..gonna have to order another carbon filter.. I shot a little video of the soil remediation amendments I'm using these days. This will be the first time I use the Coast of Maine Lobster Compost. I usually use a different brand with added biochar and mycorrhizae, but I wanted to see what all the fuss is about the efficacy of lobster compost. Recipe: About 50 gallons of soil, previously flushed with TPS Liquidsoil to re-establish the microbial population. 1 cu ft - Coast of Maine lobster compost 15 lbs - Earthworm castings 4.5 lbs - Microgrow granular inoculant 4 lbs - Bokashi 4 lbs - Dr Earth Veggie, Tomato, and Herb organic fertilizer 2 lbs. - Nectar for the Gods - One Shot granular fertilizer 2 lbs - granular humic acid plus molasses 1/2 lb - texas greensand 1/2 lb - azomite 1/2 lb - dolomite 10/20: Halle Berry(Blackberry A) is getting soooo fat..maybe 20" in circumference! I spotted another couple of nanners on the Strawberry Pie and decided to leave them to do their thing..might be some very interesting hybrids as a result. It occurs to me that it's almost time to start germinating the next batch of beans...👍 10/23: Fed them and rotated the edge plants. Switched to Cha Ching. 10/24: Halle Berry is foxtailing a bit ever since I upped the wattage in the tiny tent. She's fading nicely..I'll probably flush her towards the end of next week. I started germinating the next batch of beans today, so I'm gonna need these bitches to hurry the fuck up now.. 10/26: Fed them and rearranged a little bit. I dialed back the ONE, increased CaMg and Sweet & Sticky. I flushed Halle Berry with 8 gallons of warm water and LiquidSoil. She's ripe, but I'll let her go another few days.

10/5: Comparing photos from the beginning of last week and today, it was pretty decent growth. If they were stunted from being in the temporary grow bags for too long, it wasn't too badly. --Blackberry I (I call her Halle), is really purpling up well, and looking like she'll be a single uber-phat cola...no branching at all..whereas her sister is all about the branches. --Wedding Cheesecakes are consistently big and vigorous. They'll probably be the best producers of the crop. --Orange Sherbets look like clones they are so consistent in shape and leaf structures. Kinda short compared to the other varieties, but nice and bushy. --Gorilla Cookies are also identical in plant shape, but two of them are a few days ahead of the other as far as pistil production goes. Also not a very tall cultivar, but many branches. --The late/stunted Lemon Pie is praying to the sun at all times and starting to look like she belongs in the same crop. The bigger LP is gorgeous..perfect structure, the other one is catching up, but my cat keeps defoliating her.😏 ---Strawberry Pies have massive sun-blocking fan leaves that require constant tucking, but they are branching well, and a couple of them are pretty beefy. The other SP is doing fine considering her crooked trunk and slow start. 10/6: Today I noticed 9 "lone" nanners on the nodes of the crooked trunk-Strawberry Pie!😧 No clusters.. just single pollen sacs here and there.🤨 These plants have experienced no major stress at all...I'm keeping it like late-August upper-peninsula Michigan in the closet. 80f/50%RH 👌 Damnit...this is a new, stable strain, right??👈 I've seen no other SP diaries with hermaphrodites...just my fukt luck I guess.😖 I plucked them and will watch for more..and I guess I'd better keep a close eye on the other two SPs as well... I just got my wife a new 16 x 7 x 7 greenhouse frame with the green semi-translucent cover for her 4' x 12' raised bed...if i see any more sneaky nanners appear, I'll probably remove the plant(s) and move them outdoors to finish in there. I swore I'd not do any training this run, but while removing the pollen sacs I couldn't resist opening up and tieing down some branches on the hermie.🤷 10/9: I fed them.

Good week in the tent 👌 only given ph'd water again. Been a lot warmer so been good for the girls in the then but not so good for some seedlings I had going on my window. Every day now seeing more growth the original Russian is the furthest along. Kind of surprised about this because i was expecting #Quick one to be the fastest out of the lot. Not the case for me here at the minute. Excited for the next few weeks to see what different strains start looking like smelling like all that jazz! Hoping for a couple of oz all together. A few different flavours not expecting any monster yield here. Took a pic of each individual plant all are quite small. Seem to have 4 I'd class as big girls for my space. Six shooter, zkittles og, missile 33 and cosh kush are all nice little bushy plants. The white widow and the Rusian are nice as well maybe if I had positioned them differently in the tent it could all have been different who knows. Peace 🍁

Not getting enough light coverage due to the light the tent came with and the inline fan not doin anything at all honestly but still doin pretty good so far hopefully I don't get bud rot before I can make it to my first harvest... I know it would be way better with a Grow Abby soil edition 😜

Thanks to Seedsman for the idea of a 420 grow-off and the chance to try some of the latest and greatest. Anyway, started some Blueberry Pie F1 Fast seeds from Seedsman today. Very promising sounding genetics, and I’m very keen to see how she goes. Hopefully we won’t get as much wildfire smoke as we did last year. The plan for this plant is a 16 cola manifold with force flowering (12 h darkness) starting in late July for a couple of weeks. Starting in a glass of water on a heat mat at 25 C. Kept in dark using foil. I’ve decided to avoid plastic for the seed starting. Also, based on a science paper I saw this winter, I’m leaving a ripe apple in the dark with the seeds. Apparently the ethylene gas helps, but only in the dark before light is applied. Tried it with tomato and pepper plants and seems to work. First time trying with my cannabis seeds. Will add the reference to the paper some day. Apr 22: moved into soil. Starting three seeds but I only have room for one plant. Will adopt out the other two. Apr 25: removed foil cover (and apple) and set the plants beside the light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. The seedlings need minimal light at this stage so taking it easy. One thing is clear, though: the difference in stem thickness between BioBizz#1 and AN#4 is striking, likely due to Rhino Skin. AN#4 is also developing a gorgeous layer of frost as expected. ❄️ BioBizz#1 – BT35 The CalMag issue is fully under control now—she’s getting 140/40 and shows no visible deficiencies anymore. Overall, she’s in great shape! AN#4 – BT35 There’s a minor calcium deficiency visible on one leaf, but at this stage, it’s not a concern. Advanced Nutrients CalMag Xtra is doing its job well at 1ml/L. EC: 2.4 pH: 6.5 Drain: pH 6.1 (EC not measurable due to organic soil). AN#3 – BT31 She’s lagging slightly behind the others, though she should be further along. This is due to suboptimal conditions—she’s far too close to the light, and there’s nothing I can do about it. I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.
