05/18 I have a question Should defoliation continue? The light hits the buds and is unnecessary, but some growers advise getting rid of the foliage so that power from the roots goes to the buds. I plan to leave it as it is and only occasionally remove 5-10 leaves that are shadow. 🌿 Week 11: Frosty Heights & Real Talk (Flower Week 6) First off, apologies for the slight delay! Usually, I drop these updates on Monday, but I was out celebrating my 25th birthday yesterday and, well... let’s just say things got a little out of control, haha! But I'm back in the tent now, and the girls didn't seem to mind the extra day of peace. Welcome to Week 11. We are deep in the flowering phase (Week 6), and the tent is looking like a winter wonderland. But let’s keep it real – while the frost is insane, it hasn't been a "perfect" run since it’s my first experience with living soil. Here’s the honest breakdown. 🛠️ The Big Defoliation & Adjustments The canopy got so thick that I had to perform one last major defoliation. I removed a significant amount of the large fan leaves that were shading the lower bud sites. It’s always a tough call this late in the game, but it was absolutely necessary to get that light penetration down to the secondary colas and improve RH. Combined with raising the entire tent to save the tops from light stress, the environment is now much more balanced. If you look closely at some of the upper leaves, you can still see a bit of "tacoing" (curling edges) from the previous light intensity and buds on the top of the sweet spot are not very well bulked because of heat stress by light. I caught it likely and the "scars" remained. 🌱 Organic Struggles & Success The "Autumn Fade" is hitting harder than I expected. The remaining fan leaves are yellowing quite aggressively. In living soil, this usually means the nitrogen is running low what I read as the plant focuses everything on the buds. I’m letting nature take its course, but I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure they have enough gas to reach the finish line. • The Scrog Management: My canopy isn't perfectly level. I have a few "underdogs" getting shadowed by the main colas even after the defoliation. It’s a lesson for next time – I need to be even more aggressive with LST early on to keep everything in one uniform plane. 📊 Stats & Environment: • Genetics: Banana Purple Punch Auto (FastBuds) • Status: Bulking phase. • RH: Dropped to 45%-40% – absolutely critical now to prevent any bud rot in these dense clusters. • Temp: 22-26°C. • Aroma: A heavy mix of tropical fruit sweets and gassy undertones. did all the topping I plan to do and she's responding just fine. found a touch of fuzz on the old seed pod forming on the rockwool and removed it, as well as snipping off the internodal leaves that had some brown spots... and now she's clean and symmetrical! very definitely an improvement from a couple weeks ago :) did not do a full nutrient swap this week, so no pics or videos of the root system just yet... maybe mid week. tuned back the nutes just a tiny bit (mixed same nute in 1700 ml instead of 1500). not sure why, mostly instinct and to help keep it small (the whole point, really). she's fun to grow! if you've never tried a desktop nano grow... i highly recommend it 😊👌😺

Day 35 Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Added a little maxibloom. Switched lights to 12/12. Did some defoliation. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxigro .25 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp armor si .5 tsp calimagic .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

Petite taille effectué, j’ai coupé l’apex et j’ai laisser seulement le noeud juste en dessous de celui qui étais le plus développé, pour vois si les deux repousse de l’apex et celle du noeud en dessous arrive à la même taille/croissance , afin d’être le plus symétrique possible. Car avant tous je suis passionné par l’art végétal et le bonsaï, j’ai commencé à cultiver du cannabis il y a maintenant 3ans, un été j’ai planté une petite graines dans un bête terreaux vide de nutriments, et là tout a commencé. Mais comme dis précédemment j’aimais l’art, et ce plant en question je l’ai transformé en bonsaï, un magnifique bonsaï, un chef d’œuvre, au quel j’ai perdu toutes photos. L’année d’après j’ai recommencé le même scénario, une graine et on recommence, la se fut un échec, plant trop gourmand et trop sensible au stress, il m’a lâché à 3/4semaine de floraison, puis maintenant 1ans que je cultive en intérieur a rechercher une bonne recette de living soil, toujours à la recherche de perfection jusqu’à couper avant même la fin de floraison car j’étais pas satisfait du résultat. (C’est pour ça aussi que j’ai supprimé tous mes journaux) J’ai coupé deux cultures comme ça et j’ai fais qu’une récoltes sur la troisième. Maintenant celle qui m’excite le plus est la petite graine d’extérieur, oui comme on dit jamais deux sans trois, plus de 1ans que j’attends cette variété, la Frosty purple freak. Le mutant violet de chez Khalifa Genetic. Que je vais bien évidemment travailler comme un bonsaï, mais symétrique , je vais éviter de trop le stresser comme j’ai eu du retard sur la croissance du a certain imprévu de type limace et temps catastrophique. (2 graines bien planté dans mon derrière.) je vais essayer de bien le diriger tous en essayant d’avoir une certaine récolte, en faire un bonsaï crée d’énormes stress au plant et ralenti considérablement la croissance, pour essayer de récolter 50/100 grammes sur le plant en extérieur faudrais approcher les 3/4 mois de végétation si tu implique des haut stress training et de la coupe a gogo. Et j’avoue que j’ai pas payer plus de 50litre de living soil juste pour 15/20 grammes de récoltes sur le plant, même si la satisfaction d’avoir fait une œuvre d’art, ça ne vaut pas le coup, je ferais mieux l’année prochaines, je dois accepter cette défaite. J’ai mis des vidéo de mon deuxième bonsaï, il étais en début de floraison et il avait environ 4mois, sans nutriments ,je lui estimais 30/50 grammes en fin de Flo, mais il m’a lâcher. Dans les deux dernières vidéo, il y en a une où on voit bien le dépôt bactérien et nutritifs du thé de compost oxygéné. Recette du thé pour la semaine 15litre d’eau de pluie 30 gr guano guali 15 gr Meal wormcastings 15 gr nettle 7 gr spirulina 7 gr Hydrosolat Kelp 225 gr wormcastings 15 gr hydrolysât de poisson 15 gr Comfrey 10 gr levure saccharomyces cerevisiae souches lycc 6420 60 gr Zeolit of chabasit 15 gr Azomite 45 ml de mélasse 15ml d’acide Humic et fluvic J’ai arroser 6 litre pour la purple freak et le reste a d’autre plantes Et un autre arrosage avec 500ml d’eau neutre avec 1gr bacilllus amyloliquefaciens x5 qui a été effectué le lendemain du thé La culture se passe bien, du côté de la purple freak Aucun problème à déplorer, plant très résistant, au changement de température et condition climatique supporte très bien les orages et les temps pluvieux et chaud, pas de signe de maladie, j’ai actuellement des ravageur depuis le début de la culture, pas un signe de problème. Réagit très bien au coupe, j’en suis plus que ravie, elle fait partis de mon top1. Seul truc qui m’inquiète, c’est ce mauvais temps. Un mélange de chaleur et de pluie, qui a amené de l’oidium sur certaine de mes plantes extérieur, j’ai peur que cela se propage sur la purple freak. Je vais devoir traiter tous cas, sans traitement agressif bien sûr.

She’s been flowering for 4 maybe 5 weeks now initially I thought she was taking long because my 12/12 was a couple mins off giving it more light but corrected that n it just looks like it’ll be a long finish her but it’ll be worth it 😎

The week as all seedling wasn't quite special but I did notice alot of girls starting to display pistles very early on , which isn't a bad sign at all just hopfully they achieve a good size 30inch to 40 inch I would prefer . Watering I've got under control already with the LEDs . Temps are a different story they have been a nitemare to keep under control , two heaters full power and the LEDS are only keeping the room about 20oC at best sometimes ... So gonna buy some insulation and seal the room up some more and hopfully keep some heat trapped inside the room and hopfully the heating bill reduces by some as this run will cost appox 900£ gbp 1200$ appox 1000€ appox Thoe come this years summer run my temps will be ideal without even using a heater at all which will reduce power to 1kw/h from 2kw/h . I think these @VIPARSPECTRA lights are playing a good part in allowing these girls to use what light is needed for a healthy structure Runtz ZAMNESIA Girls are looking like there genicitis has lots of potential for a very vigorous plant , the last runtz I grew was very big plants hoping for the same type of growth . One does appear to acquire some molding on the frist true leaves but seems not to have slowed any growth or reduced vigorous growth so if you spot this I'm not worried , very vigorous strain Lemon haze - ETS look like they could be bigger plants hopfully they make for a nice grow and don't get out of control making me think should I top my haze ? Blueberry Headbang- ETS This has been the hardest Germination of any seeds and I only got 1 decent seed pop up this one plant I'm taking super good care of as I wanna try Blueberry headbang Headlight kush - ETS a few of these have come up in good old fashion no visible problems and look to grow pretty good I think where gonna have a couple of headlights kush . Seem to be solid and all in sync to whatever part of growth there meant to be at . All plants are doing amazing 👏 they where showing great vigorous growth and some steady growth . Planning on keeping as many girls as possible alothough 16 might be the upper limit if these girls get big as this is the frist time I've used LEDs Im not sure what to expect . The same as hps ? Definitely no the growth from the LEDs is alot better than HPS and I haven't even dailed the temps to stay super steady Going to introduce my GHE flora line at low dosage to not shock the little girls and not to stun any growth . Flipped to flowering 3.11

Chonga is doing nicely at 7", Cheecha still a little behind. The soil has been staying moist for awhile, even with light watering and I was worried about root rot. So, I let them go about a week without watering. After a light watering with the remaining 1 ml/2Qt nutrient/water solution (about 1 cup each plant), I took the plunge and decided to try Topping (or FIMing), which I did a few days after watering. I'm also concerned about soil PH. I've been testing it with the 3-in-1 tester, but it always reads about 7. I tried the thing out in pure vinegar, but it gave the same results. So, soil PH is anybody's guess. I eventually bought a digital PH tester for liquids. BIG CHANGE: On Day 27, I switched over to a new, 1200W LED grow light.
