So far the dosi seems to be further into flowering than the bride cake. Iโ€™m noticing a potential cal/mag lock out with the dosi but Iโ€™ll continue to monitor over the course of these next few days. If signs worsen Iโ€™ll attempt to flush with lighter EC until run off readings of PH & EC are stable and will tone down the feed. 11/5/21 seems that my โ€œmag & calcium deficiencyโ€ seems to really be nutrient burn. I am pushing these plants on their bloom diet (2.8-3.0EC) so it is to be expected however I shall continue to keep them at the same EC unless things begin to worsen ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฝ I like to limit test ๐Ÿ˜…

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect thatโ€™ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. Itโ€™s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. Itโ€™s a top-notch resin producer that doesnโ€™t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30'sโ„‰). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40'sโ„‰, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ’š ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/9- Week Six for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and she is doing great! Our weather, so far, has been rather cool and damp. We've had showers on and off every 2-3 days which has taken care of my watering chores which I won't complain about. 5/11- I'm continuing to monitor the leaf damage and am keeping up with the Neem Oil applications to mitigate as much further damage as possible. I still have yet to put eyes on the culprits responsible for the damage to the leaves. Tomorrow I'm going to top dress the GG4 Sherbet for the first time since transplanting outside into her pre-amended soil mix. 5/13- Yesterday, I top dressed the GG4 Sherbet FF with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4 All Purpose and 1/2g of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil, I watered them in via garden hose with well water. 5/15- There's six weeks of veg for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and, with our weather finally cooperating, she's beginning to really take off! I can't wait to see what she'll do over the course of the next few weeks... should be exciting! Thank you for checking out my diary.

A tall one right off the bat here. I've never grown a strain with so much CBD in it along with THC. I'll enjoy watching this run, wishful thinking if everything goes right.

3/11 ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘ They were a little dry this morning, so I gave them a gallon of water split between the four of them using the light schedule feed๐ŸŽ„ 3/12 Z๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฆ strawberry and strawberry gorilla are starting to get very tall. Theyโ€™re becoming huge. Iโ€™m gonna keep them at 91 W maximum that might even be a little high. Itโ€™s nice to know. They donโ€™t take as much light as I thought along time ago. They really look good. this is the first time Iโ€™ve used 2 gallon pots so I have to remember to water more often and spray the bag with neem oil. I canโ€™t tell if itโ€™s runoff salts or if it is some sort of white fungus thatโ€™s not good on the outside of the bag, either way, if I spray everything with neem oil before I water including the soil, NO the plants just the soil and the bag makes a huge difference.๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ‘ 3/13๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ฆ ๐Ÿ’ฆplus silica after about 12 hours, they are looking really good. Theyโ€™re actually dry again. Iโ€™m gonna do watering tomorrow. The CBD plant is going completely different than any other one. Itโ€™s really exciting. It looks great but very different from any of the other ones probably because I dropped it when I did the transplant either way luckily sheโ€™s doing great.๐Ÿ‘ 3/14 ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ 3/15 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ I ended up doing two full gallons of water. I was surprised how much I had to water them with today did full nutrients and supplements.๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ’ง 3/16๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‘ strawberry gorilla and the strawberries are growing exactly like they said they were on their website. Theyโ€™re looking just great apricot and the CBD are also doing great. Iโ€™m not gonna do too much training. I feel better if I leave them alone.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‘ 3/17 Z๐Ÿ“ ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ 1 gallon with 1 mL silica 1 mL Cal mag๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ

Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

Woow.... what's a smell when I trimmed this baby.. my nose was confused!! All the time I could smell Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ u know... sweetness cookies ๐Ÿช and with touch of fruit ๐Ÿ‰ I wish could be 2 months in the future now. Finally finished curring and ready to smoke ๐Ÿ’จ I had unfortunately a pH problem, because I never adjusted my water ๐Ÿ’ฆ but that problem is solved now to my next grow. She's gets her yellow leaves ๐Ÿƒ early, but came through this and got her bud fattened up Cheers ๐Ÿป

This is end of week 7. I think another week or two and they're ready for harvest. Smell is getting stronger and I'm seeing some nice colours on the leaves which is typical for this strain. Everything looking really nice and volume of the buds is increasing every day. Lovin' it๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’šโœŒ๏ธ

Grape Ape Cake ! Lineage; Hotcakes (Katsu Bubba Kush X Burnt Toast (from Raw Genetics) X Grape Ape An Exciting New Collab from Katsu Bluebird ! Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. Thanks for Reading ๐Ÿ™Œ If you have a question or a comment leave it down below otherwise, I Hope You Check in Next Week, Stay Safe out there & Happy Gardening Cariboo
