Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 97grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! This week you realy can see the DIAMONDS glitter.. Did a experiment whit 660NM but the rusults need some more atention before i can tell you about it.

-Clones have been transplanted into 3.5" pots. The sixth plant eventually rooted however it was the smallest, was a backup, so I did not bother to transplant it. -Megacrop amounts above are actually g/gal, not tsp/gal. I do wish Grow Diaries would add mass for us dry soluble nutrient addicts. -Mother is doing fine, I took a second set of cuttings off her for a local buddy who would like to grow her out as well. -The mother has also given me a good idea of what to expect later on in veg when I begin training. -Grow will eventually be planted in 5-gal fabric pots then moved to a 4x4 tent w/ Autopots and a 650w 3000K LED Bars for further training and flowering. -I intend on offsetting the transplants, bending the girls over for LST, and eventually train under a scrog net in the flower tent. The mother seems to support this training as that is what I did with her to reduce height yet maximize the number of cuttings I could harvest quickly.

Nutrients remain the same and will so now until the ripening stage. I don’t really know exactly when she will be ready, I assume she has another 5 weeks in her or so. Only the trichomes will tell 😊 Buds are starting to bulk nicely now and from the photo lapse it’s evident that some of the colas are starting to lean. Girl at the front is still rather ugly and the bud formation on her is not uniform like the rest. Just goes to show how different each seed can be even when growing the same pheno in the same conditions. I think they’re due a complete water change out tomorrow for the first time since the flowers started to form around F14. The PH is starting to swing over the course of 1-2 days which is usually the signal I pay attention to and force myself to stop being lazy 😊

So this has definitely been a slow grow, but I also mainlined it and topped her twice... I'm not feeding her my regular feed, which is like steroids. I'm using the dots and i was warned about the growth being slow in the beginning, so no worries... I was actually going to grow her out normal, but I had to use the flowering tent for an unexpected auto flower, not being an auto flower .. no bad one is doing well. Shout out to @Grow4releaf

18.05. 🌿 Day 18 – Smooth Progress & Transplant + Feeding Everything is progressing nicely! All four plants are looking healthy and strong, with compact growth, well-spaced nodes, and no signs of stress. The early vegetative stage is going very well so far. 🌱 Transplanting: Today, all four plants were transplanted from their 0.2L starter pots into 19L final containers filled with CANNA Terra Professional soil. The roots were well developed and ready for more space — perfect timing. 🌿 Feeding Update: During transplant, each pot was amended with 60g of Green House Feeding BioGrow, mixed into the soil to provide a slow-release organic nutrient base. This should support strong vegetative growth over the coming weeks without the need for frequent liquid feeding. The plants have settled in well and are showing no signs of transplant shock. With plenty of room and nutrients now available, they’re expected to really take off soon.

Week 10, close to

Since I started her on hygrozyme, hyshield and ph perfect, it's been nothing but smooth sailing! Such a relief because it seemed to stall last week. New white pistils, a noticeable chunk to the buds. I'm a happy camper now! I know I said I'd start this plant on overdrive last week, but we'll start this week instead. I'm blown away by this plant's color and smell. I mean it doesn't smell like the weed I'm used to. It's like fruit salad nested between a bed of flowers. Heavenly! Honestly, I know this plant won't be as much a yielder as I initially hoped. But the quality will surely make up for that. On top of that, we've got FIVE more banana dads to run, so I hope to get better and better with this strain in the months to come. Biggest mistake has to do with how little nutes I fed this plant whole cycle. I went the minimalist route, feeding mostly low-dose compost tea. Learned my lesson - to just use compost tea as a supplement with my grow style. Thanks again @JhindleHydro for pointing me in the right direction, you may have saved my plant, m8! Almost forgot to mention, I've added a 300w LED flower-spectrum board to help out in the flowering tent. It's no Mars Hydro - But it should do just fine as supplemental lighting.

Grow diary 11 stage 7 Day 61-70 This is such a short stocky plant. She has really bulked up while I have been away. She is full of trichomes and is the farthest along. In the next 10 to 20 days I'll have to remove her from the tent to get her of the automatic feeding and I can start flushing her. I know the yield is going be small on this one but the quality looks like its there.
