This was a rainy week so not much watering however she took the new 5 gallon pot really well. I am just extending her veg for the best possibly yield.

Flowering and the stretch phase have officially begun, and the canopy remains very even thanks to the earlier training. The first buds are forming nicely, and the plant looks vigorous overall. There is still some minor pest damage on a few fan leaves, but it remains healthy and is developing exactly as expected.

21.09.Update – Day 54 • We’re now deep into flowering, and unfortunately the thrips problem has not improved. • On the contrary, the population has completely taken over and has had a strong negative influence on this run. ⸻ Pest Situation • Despite thorough cleaning before the run and multiple measures during the grow (Neem, Nematodes, Predatory Mites), the thrips kept spreading and finally took control. • The infestation has weakened the plants noticeably, reducing their potential and overall performance. • For the next cycle, I will need to take even stricter preventive steps to avoid a repeat of this issue. ⸻ Plant & Bud Development • Even though the plants were heavily affected, the buds themselves are still relatively solid: • They are compact, firm, and nicely structured. • The terpene profile is very appealing, with a rich and delicious aroma. • Yield will certainly be lower than expected, but there is still a chance for a satisfying end product. ⸻ Notes & Outlook • This run shows how devastating thrips pressure can be, even under careful preparation. • Nevertheless, the buds are giving hope for a decent harvest in terms of quality and flavor. • The plan now is to finish strong, harvest what can be saved, and then prepare carefully for a fresh, hopefully pest-free start. ⸻ 🌱 Day 54 – Thrips have dominated the run, but compact buds and great terps keep the outlook positive for harvest quality.

Hi Growmies I hope your week had been as productive and fun as mine and that your flowering is progressing. It has been a very easy week to manage their needs. Nicely set and with lots of light per plant , we have a lot of clusters of pistils throughout their whole structure. Keeping the humidity lower now is helping to reduce the risk of bud rot with so much vegetation and fresh pistils to feed it. It will also help raise the oils needd within the girls to keep them supple amd attractive to those buzzy friends they hope to attract. The smell of sweet pineapple is so strong in the room now and their stickiness from resin is really starting to show itself now. It is evident that the plagron products have had a substantial effector the progress now with so.mamy sets of flowers lower in the canopy too. Seeing other grows of the Biscotti not using the products , there is a difference in node lengths between flowers without doubt. The flowering plants are nice and stocky compared to most of my previous grows sonit has been easier to keep them well within the lights sweet spot With just 2 weeks left that will hopefully be the adding weight and second flowering sets kicking into play too , a good yield could be on the cards. I do seem to have 2 phenotypes off the Biscotti running so it will be interesting to see how they differ at the end for yield etc.. I have added a small greenhouse heater to bring the temp up a little and help with the humidity control too as we are experiencing a very cold snap again in good old Blighty. Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de floracion de estas Rainbow Melon feminizada de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros. Tenían algo de shock por el trasplante pero ya fue solucionado. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Coming throw - we put a few in a 20liter - going for a few tiers. Tent has opened up some space from harvesting this week so should see the remainders beef up some more. Weird that I have flies in this tent. Harmless but I think the sweet aroma maybe have something g to do with it - or coffee grinds -

Did a jump start tea, 3 feeds of cutting edge solutions. For past 4 weeks have Found one adult spider mite per week, and destroyed eggs on the leaf's bottom with the white spots. I have no clue where they came from never had them before. I live next to a river and it is spider season so the normal spiders have been hunting the mites just becasue they are attracted to the lights at night. I don't see the mites as a threat and I'm not going to spray for them I might try to make a ladybug farm if I see more.

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. she reached her maximum amber potential, I think ... her biggest leaves are drying ... I get to the last ... I was only fed with prganic products always ... a citrus smell. smell of forests and fruit in their buds...This is his last week of flowering ... with his compact and hard buds

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. I think the kosher cake is the 2nd nicest looking one in the grow. Well it’s time to harvest 299 gram total wet weight with stems very happy with the outcome on these to say I messed up with nutrients at the most important stage bounced back and gave some very sticky buds with a hint of strawberry will update on dry weight in time thanks for viewing

She is rapidly eating nutrients and I am having to change solution about every 4-5 days now. In DWC when your original nutrient solution starts off at 12-1300 PPMs and then drops below 400 PPMs within 4-5 days, it becomes hard to understand what nutrients the plants has taken up, as this number may never get below 2-300 PPMs. So when to change solution outside of a schedule depends on a few factors, but most of all - observations, and records of the individual plant. You have to look for the subtle differences. Is it getting a little light green before changes. How does it respond to an early change, etc. The more you observe the plant the more you will learn about it. So far she has been exceptional!
