Removed lower leaves touching media. 02/04/22 PH 6.10 TDS 774 02/05/22 PH 6.13 TDS 780 gave 2 quarts recharge. Gave foliar feeding at lights out. 02/06/22 PH 6.03 TDS 740 trimmed plant a little taking off small suckers and a few leaves under canopy. 02/07/22 PH 6.02 TDS 780 02/08/22 PH 6.03 TDS 778

D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the start of the third week for #1. I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress! D29 - Today, it was finally time to top the second girl. She was already seven nodes tall, around 30 cm. First, I got everything together as I prefer to have what I need before starting instead of running around looking for something mid-process: Snips, a couple of glasses with water to put cuttings in, bonsai wire and soil staples, clone-gel and a new razor blade, dwc cloner, peppermint oil and Q-tip. After cleaning the snips thoroughly with alcohol, I topped her just above her fourth node. I'm going to mainline her, so I removed everything below the fourth as well. She went from a lush lady to a stick figure! I secured her remaining two branches using staples and wire. The final touch in the tent was to put some peppermint oil on a Q-tip. Bugs and pests are attracted to the scent of injured plants. On the other hand, they hate the smell of peppermint oil, and it should deter the critters even though the girl smells like a buffet. I bought this tiny DWC system for a few bucks off Amazon a while back and want to try it as a cloner. (The primary purpose of this cloning project is to practice taking clones, plus see how well this hydro system works.) I trimmed each cutting before lightly scraping the stalk, making a fresh cut with the razor blade, and finally into a net-pot. I had planned to put some clone-gel into the water, but it turned out that the bottle had gone bad since last time. Oh well, pure water for this test run then. Finally, I cut up all the removed leaves and stalks into small pieces and distributed them on top of the soil in the pot. Have to keep that nutrition cycle going. Plus, like this, I don't have to worry about safely disposing those telltale leaves. Win-win in my book. D34 - The final day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the end of the third week for #1. #2 has recovered great after her first topping, and I'm planning on doing her second topping tomorrow, six days after the first. #1 is a week behind so I'm planning on topping her in a couple of days as I want to make sure that her fourth node is at the same height as the fourth node on the second girl. The clones are looking really healthy but no roots yet but maybe that is to be expected considering that I'm using no rooting hormones.

Hey fellow growers here's my update of my Blue Dream 420fastbuds grow. These ladies are doing great!! Starting to fill in with flowers and smell is getting stronger with every feeding! Speaking of which this is what the feeds looked like this past week... 1/27/2021 2ml micro 1ml gro 2ml bloom 1/4ml ph down Ph 6.41 372ppm Solution temp 72.3°F 2/1/2022 2ml micro 1ml gro 2ml bloom 1/4ml ph down Ph 6.47 372ppm Solution temp 74.1°F This grow seems to be flying by compared to my first grow. I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! Okay so im just impulsively training this plant. Cut a hole in a 7 gal pot and transplanted. The plant got stressed out from me working it through the hole in the side of the pot. She's recovering nicely. This might be a waist of time but I enjoy spending time in the tent 😎

D31 - Today, I finally got around to doing some low-stress training. I should have done it ages ago, and I don't even have a good reason for not having done it, but hey, better late than never. Right? D32 - She is bouncing back nicely from the training yesterday. Starting to smell a bit so I got the active carbon filter installed. D34 - The last day in the fourth week of veg and the final day as she is in flower now. I did some more LST, as well as defoliation and cover crop trim to increase airflow.
