Planties are getting bushier :3 This week we focused on LST, providing as much light so smaller tops could reach the size of bigger ones. We raised the light cause NL started showing signs it didnt like being close to the light, but also saw some other issues, tips of canna leafs started to yellow, about a week and a half ago we fed them some nutrience, home made organic and also a mix. So now im not really sure from what caused the yellowing tips. Nutriante deficiancy? Nutrient burn? Light? Taking now a closer look, to see upcoming signs that would make this situation clearer. Apart from yellowing leafs, the smell(rrrlll goood) becomes more noticable, its nice coming to the tent, feels like youre high from growing nature :=) We topped speedy chille and took of yellowing leafs, she really liked it and is now growing 4 tops

This week in the 5x5 had some good changes! Put on some good nodes and put on some resin!!! They all 3 pretty much look the same they have good node spacing and the stems are way sticky to the touch. Monday starting off week 5 gave them a top dress of craft blend 1/4 cup mixed into the top lil bit of soil and straw bed. Handwatering each plant gets 1/4 gallon at plant base and 1 gallon spread between plants. Everything going food look happy. Wendsday plants looks like they liked the Monday treatment so proceeding as normal. Gave them 1 top. per gallon of water along with 2 top of mollases to make the soil happy and some glacier rock dust a good plop. Friday everyone looked good maybe lil strong on nutes will only water as normal for the week. Sunday end of week 5 just straight water 1 plant got lil burned like I was thinking but everyone is happy happy happy. Vivosun fan I had for 4 months died had to replace with back up fan. Things are going well. This is a very inconsistent strain. I finally decided to kill off the plant A529 because it just would not grow and always looked over watered even though the rest of my garden looked great. One thing i can say is this strain in extremely nute hungry. I could easily increase my N if this was the only strain i was running

She flowered very fast. The smaller ones smell different and have more shiny flowers very nice, it smelled very strong at the end, while trimming the buds a smell of fruit and gas spread trough the whole house

Its been a nightmare with this GGA it is finally in preflower i thought i mite have a photoperiod plant but its not the purple lemonade auto is going great

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Three of the four autos popped on day 4 and the fourth plant popped on day 5. Watered 1.5 oz when I planted in final smart pot size 3 gal. Watered 2 oz on days 3,5, & 6 when it looked dry on top. pH at 6-6.5 before I got a meter.

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. This was a very rough year for growers. I tackled spider mites, thrips, pm and leaf septoria. Unfortunately these needed to be taken a little early due to a number of factors. The smoke came out amazing. Closest I've come to a lb a plant. Smokes great and had that citrus taste that comes with blueberry. I am very proud of myself. I'll finish this review later. Vamos familia, actualizamos la octava semana de floración de estas Thunder Banana de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor, cambié el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y también apliqué una poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, las flores han tricomado que da miedo. So here we are day 24 in bloom! My new girls have started to climb above this beauty now and are off their raises and I feel I may have to start raising this one if they continue to stretch any more! As I have to keep the light at 18” running through my tests of the light! Because I did 12” last grow and ran into light intensity problems and as of yet am I to experience any problems and I hope I literally make it through without any 😊 she’s all organic too which is a treat when it comes to flushing! I do flush for 2 weeks when the pistols turn 60-70% orange! Seems to be the perfect time I’ve been used to and worked! Then I look at the trichromes for perfect harvest! Just know she smells so good already just open the tent and smell her sweet grapefruit terps coming through strong! And her flowers and going to be huge as I’m not yet half way through and look at the growth! I do prefer growing organic and am transitioning towards growing fully organic! All I know is this Zamnesia stuff is incredible! Along side bionova! It’s simple and productive!
