Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? 3rd Week of Flower from Light Feeding liquid nutes twice a week

Sie hat leider keine Fehler vergeben und war auch relativ zickig. Hab am Ende noch zwei drei nanners auf ihr gefunden aber keine seeds. Die müssten in den letzten Tagen gekommen sein da ich davor akribisch kontrolliert habe, weil die Sour Zoda auch gezwittert hat. Leider ein minus für umami an der Stelle (daher auch nur die 5 Sterne). Aber auch hier leider muss ich mich beschweren, weil sie meilenweit weg ist von der Beschreibung, die artificial Mango, Ananas und Apfel Geschmack beschreibt.

The preflower stretch has been incomparable to any Soil grow I've seen! These sativas already caught up and don't show any signs of slowing down.

Casey's Rollex OG is growing good. She is transitioning more into flowering and should be toward the end part of her stretch. She was lollipopped today and a selective defoliation done across the canopy. She has been eating a lot and is looking good. Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

What to say about this week? For starters LST was started this week. Initially I used garden ties but soon after replaced them with 6” garden staples . 2 of the 6 girls began throwing pistals resulting from the LST starting around day 15 YIKES 😬. The Zkittlez & the Runtz both from (Expert Seeds ) began giving the 5x5 its first smells . The LST so far has been a pleasure no ooosy daisies so far & the girls are showing what they are made of . The secondary shoots have great potential to form a nice round bush that I can train out into an even-as-possible canopy . Today is day 21 & day 20 for this bunch . They are only using Gaia Green dry amendments for feedings but I decided to take some advice given to another grower & supplement my girls with some compost tea . NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED ANYTHING ADDITIONALLY IM REALLY HAPPY SO FAR WITH MY NUTES bbbbuuuuuttttttt in the short chance that my ladies may take a liking to an occasional tea & reward my pampering with large , long , frosty, stacked cola’s . . Thennnn I’m supplementing , I consider this all “4-play” for my ladies Ik a giver 🤷‍♀️😭 My only concerns are racing against this clock to get as much size & solid structure before flowering sets in I’ve really got my heart set on a certain outcome & I’m one for a good challenge. Finally , atleast as much as I can remember, I increased the dimmer knob on the light from 65% to about 78%. I won’t increase the watts any higher until bloom sets in fully & at that point I’ll be turning it to 100% raising it a maybe 6 inches & watching patiently for my girls to start praying 🙏 to it . Week 3 in the books !

Hello I hope every one is dooing good! We are here going into week six of flower. I'll be honest this plant here has been teaching me a lot I've gaven her the name once of "patience" because thats one of many things i'm learning and working on in life s well. I do believe there is a balance with life and life in your tent or garden we will say. I made some mistakes trying to weave this plant in the trillis, as there is no neeeeed!! ahhh silly me. Its okay we are learning here,at this time im mainly focused on having a good environment in aspects of temperature, humidity,vpd. Im looking for a vpd of 0.80 to 1.5 some days we hit a sweet spot others not so much but I do what we can to control humidity in the tent. I have a small dehumidifier currently. its helping bring down the humidity, seem to notice the hunmidity rising after I water so I leave the tent open for a while, also have a duc fan blowing air in at the bottom of the tent, so great circulation going on... oh my we are doing good tho!!! loving this grow this plant ther GENTICS omg i cant wait to see this thru! I am giving hr some new nutrients to add to the line, starting in week six. I am giving her 2ml per liter of water of tastey terpenes from advanced nutriennts. starting to see thrichomes development. excited to see these flowers get thicker and sweeter much love happy growing!!! lets go Guava

Harvest time has come. This plant grew beautifully and strong. The flowering time was insanely fast hence the "fast" strain. The Gaia green nutrients are where its at. Definitely sticking to organic from now on after this grow. The smell is pungent and stinking up my entire house in a great way! Very resinous buds so I cant wait to use the nug smasher and press some rosin. Overall great grow and learned a lot about the organic process. Next grow is going to be blueberry pie fast. Ein herzliches Hallo an alle! Wir beschreiben die Vorblüte bzw. Blüte Woche 1 Sie hat ordentlich an Masse und Höhe zugelegt. Das Blätterdach entwickelt sich schön. Sie wächst sehr gut! Blattnager mögen sie noch immer besonders :-( Aufgrund des Wetterumschwungs musste ich die Düngemengen wie auch das Gießverhalten erhöhen. Das Düngen alle zwei Tage sagt ihr sehr zu, an den anderen Tagen verwende ich PH-angepasstes Wasser. Super Microbes gebe ich zwei mal die Woche mit einer Menge von 0,2 g / Viele Grüße an die Community! LueRootsGrowGermany!
