Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 馃槑 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! My set-up: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Mars Hydro TSW2000 (300W). - Tristar fan (30W) - Greenmigo dehumidifier (155W). - Compo Sana universal soil (2x40l) - Timer - Weather station + pH meter Have a nice journey through my grow diary!

Her new location better light spread for growth. November is considered the wettest month here and she is currently experiencing extra rain water and high humidity鈥o far so good.

Still pulling top fan leaves to allow the side branches to catch up to the main stem. Plants are enjoying the new root space and increased feed.

Day 28 of flower and I鈥檓 very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they鈥檙e done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day. Got a little over 40 days left until it鈥檚 harvest time. 42 to be exact! But I鈥檒l catch yall on the next update 鉁岋笍馃従

This week brought some challenges鈥擨 discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn鈥檛 too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I鈥檝e been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question鈥攜es, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m鲁/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn鈥檛 planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure鈥擨 want to skip LST in my next grow. It鈥檚 quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I鈥檓 keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.
