09.06 After some research I think the lightly burn on the leaf tips came from to much light and not from nutrient burn. Anyway, I like how they developed the last week so I guess it wasn't super bad to reduce my scheme. I am now 4 weeks before harvest, I plan to flush the last week, so there is 3 weeks left of nutrients. For this week I will give them some boost with canna pk 13/14 and will remove hesi phospor for the scheme for this week. Tank was cleaned as always and new water with nutrients is prepared for the next week of bloom.

She looks well the internodes are quite spaced. The stem is thickened each week that passes the leaves are emerald green with five fingers. She has received 100 ml of phd water. I’ll keep her under the leds see how she does!!!

What to say about this week? For starters LST was started this week. Initially I used garden ties but soon after replaced them with 6” garden staples . 2 of the 6 girls began throwing pistals resulting from the LST starting around day 15 YIKES 😬. The Zkittlez & the Runtz both from (Expert Seeds ) began giving the 5x5 its first smells . The LST so far has been a pleasure no ooosy daisies so far & the girls are showing what they are made of . The secondary shoots have great potential to form a nice round bush that I can train out into an even-as-possible canopy . Today is day 21 & day 20 for this bunch . They are only using Gaia Green dry amendments for feedings but I decided to take some advice given to another grower & supplement my girls with some compost tea . NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED ANYTHING ADDITIONALLY IM REALLY HAPPY SO FAR WITH MY NUTES bbbbuuuuuttttttt in the short chance that my ladies may take a liking to an occasional tea & reward my pampering with large , long , frosty, stacked cola’s . . Thennnn I’m supplementing , I consider this all “4-play” for my ladies Ik a giver 🤷‍♀️😭 My only concerns are racing against this clock to get as much size & solid structure before flowering sets in I’ve really got my heart set on a certain outcome & I’m one for a good challenge. Finally , atleast as much as I can remember, I increased the dimmer knob on the light from 65% to about 78%. I won’t increase the watts any higher until bloom sets in fully & at that point I’ll be turning it to 100% raising it a maybe 6 inches & watching patiently for my girls to start praying 🙏 to it . This week has been awesome. Reservoir has been lasting is pretty well these 3weeks. I filled it with 10gals and have not had to top it up. Dropped the trellis net on the girls to get her to open up more, I will be adding 1-2 more layers of trellis just in case when we flower we make sure to really spread them out. I’m really loving this Autopot 10gals has really gone a long way I just make sure to check the ph and we are good. 11/10 - Last night I did some late-night defoliation and removed about 30 good sized fan leaves and made some minor adjustments to her ScrOG positioning. She drank steadily through the week and once she drank down about 1 gal (4 days), I checked tds/pH. She measured in at 520ppm and 6.8pH. This was outside of my desired range in both values, so I decided to top-off with some legit full-strength nutes to balance the scales. After adding the solution, she measured 650ppm and 6.2pH. Not ideal, but acceptable for the moment. I feel like every day I check on her, her roots have gotten even bigger.

Well here we are finally out of the three week germination/seedling stage and now we’re on to week 1 of vegetation phase of Penelope’s life. Runtz is a very hardy plant, has a great structure that folds well. The buds are medium sized and insanely hard, full of resin. Even the bottom buds are hard and nice when you let the light through. I definitely recommend this strain

Last week of veg for lil Junebug. Ph water, no nutes this week to clean her roots of all the buildup. Flushed her yesterday and she’s in 18 dark hours to initiate the flip. Weekend feed will be week 1 bloom. She could easily veg and veg but we’re gonna make sure she’s got plenty of room to stretch and thrive within the heart of the HPS bulb. Another week in and the flowers are stacking up nice. Cyclo nutrients are feeding them well. No deficiencies so far. All levels in the correct parameters. The cheese are both huge plants. Need more light power in veg to keep them shorter next run.
