📝 Notes - I am still not getting the vertical growth that I want before I flip, so I changed my light cycle to 18/6 and will be doing another defoliation and pruning of a few side branching - remember, I am looking for tall plants with little horizontal growth.
Fertigation injects fertilizers into an irrigation system to supply dissolved nutrients to crops.
🗓️04.20.24 Today, I flipped the ladies into flower. I Have let them veg out as much as I feel the grow space can handle. I am sure there will be a bit of pruning and super cropping in the near future. These girls will grow untouched other than the 2x daily fertilization, but I am switching out the Horti-Grow with the Horti-Bloom, feeding at Hort-Bloom @ 2.7 GRMS Per Gal and Horti-Cal @ 2.5 GRMS Per Gal.

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! 6th week of veg!!! 💚💡🌱 Lots of growth in the last 2-3days, color looks great a couple twisted leaves on #4 but nothing major..we've removed a large fan for better light penetration on #1 & #2..temps have been awesome since the weather changed, plants are loving the intense light and mild climate. We have no real game plan for flower (besides not getting overgrown lol) but size will definitely determine when we flip.. I would assume 2 more weeks at this rate of growth but time will tell.. everyone is eating a little with every watering now (water only every 3rd/4th) and things look great! We've been running the MarsHydro at 29" this entire grow (found my tape measure lol) and the node spacing is still really tight, I assume there's a lot more red in SP-3000 than lights we've used in the past, at 29" these little plants have side stems as fat as pencils..We plan to keep the light at this distance all thru veg and we'll begin lowering it at the start of flower...plants are coming along nicely, much more growth in the last few days than the previous week. I'm REALLY excited for this grow..I think the SP-3000 will deliver us a half lb or more of Bruce Banger with very little effort..I couldn't be more in love with this setup....
.....until i buy my 2nd SP-3000 that is 😸

Week 1. 14/09/2022
Spring is full on here acourding to Google but it's just not getting warmer. Full blow rain and wind. Had to bring in the tent that I got for protection. This will impact the grow and hopefully not too much.
Finally the Sun is out and it's feeling like Spring. Time to get the soils biology in the right space. I cooked up a Tea that focuses on the Micro nutrition, Root development and Pest control. Use a airpump and lift it out for about 24 hours after the mix.
Tea ingredients:

Garlic
Cinnamon
Molasses
Fish Poop
Prawn juice

Reducing Grow nuets will Increase Bloom as we go.
Want a lower EC with lots of runoff for tonight, been pretty high and its going up from here.

I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination.
Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait!
Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild.
Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production.
She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety.
This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

This weeks pictures are of the Blue Glue. So I had the two growing in one oot and one turned male very soon so I got rid of it instead of collecting pollen. I will never do that again. It turns out the blue glue male and female had a mutation that is creating extra thick pistols it looks like pipecleaners instead of hairs. The plants are very short but have an extra dense canopy. Ive trimmed it two time now and might have to do it again.

bubba cheese cake is growing will she is looking sweet in her natural state un topped or LST even going to flower early doesnt give me time enouph to get to harvesr hoping the deadline is for entering and not completing so i can compete in the contests without comming up short of harvesr wich is still close to 60 days yet.(crossing fingers). bubba cheese cake is an awsome strain to grow so far.

End of week 5 for Orange Sherbet FF. This week was better than the last week. She Starting to bounce back from her issues she is taking her time in developing and stretching slowly. No signs of pre-bloom yet. I just fed her Goldleaf feterlizer and did some defoliation to the bad leaves. Hopefully week 6 is better.

L'Alien déploie ses tentacules 👽
C’est un grand jour dans le cycle de Spirit. La ligne d'arrivée est officiellement en vue, et la plante continue de muter pour devenir quelque chose d'absolument spectaculaire.
Nutrition & Fin de Cycle (Aujourd'hui)
Dernier repas : Aujourd’hui marque le tout dernier apport en Bio PK 5-8 de Biotabs. C'est le clap de fin pour les nutriments !
Objectif Récolte : Le compte à rebours est officiellement déclenché : elle sera coupée dans exactement 14 jours.
Le rinçage final : À partir de maintenant, c'est diète complète. Place à l'eau claire via l'Autopot pour lui permettre de puiser dans ses dernières réserves, de nettoyer ses tissus et d'exprimer son plein potentiel gustatif.
👽 Morphologie Terrestre... ou Extraterrestre ?
Des têtes hors normes :
Les fleurs sont devenues gigantesques et débordent d'une quantité impressionnante de trichomes scintillants. J'ai tellement hâte de la récolter pour voir à quoi elle ressemble vraiment une fois manucurée !
L'effet tentacules 🦑 :
C'est la signature visuelle de cette fin de session. Sous l'effet combiné de la chaleur estivale et de la proximité de la lumière intense, Spirit ne fait plus de simples "queues de renard" (foxtails). Comme on peut le voir en gros plan .les calices s'empilent et s'étirent vers le panneau LED en formant de véritables tentacules de résine. C'est le look alien poussé à son paroxysme !
Sénescence amorcée :
Le feuillage commence doucement à se teinter de nuances d'automne .. C'est le signal parfait que la plante reçoit le message et se prépare pour la fin.
⚙️ Rappel Environnemental
Substrat : Géré automatiquement par le système Autopot qui va maintenant assurer la phase de rinçage à l'eau pure.
Climat : Malgré la chaleur qui pousse les sommités à s'étirer en tentacules, la ventilation et l'extraction tournent au maximum pour maintenir l'espace sain et éviter tout problème d'humidité stagnante au cœur de ces buds massifs.

Not everything went well this week - I've used some stress stimulator and burnt leaves a bit, changed aero rocks in hydro since old ones got cluttered. Solutions PH goes up for some reasons, better learn some chemistry to figure out why ahah. It's still about ~ 1300, so I'm not adding any nutrients this week nor I plan to change the solution completely. I guess I'll add a bit big bud and monitor ph and ppm

Early this week found 2 fungus gnats on the soil of one of the plants so was afraid of an infestation but after getting rid of the 2 havent seen any other one. Yesterday (day 14) had to give some support to 1 of the plants cause it was bending over. Overal not perfect but think these problems are all minor. So lets see.

This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet
