Not much to report from this week. More pistils came out every day. They're long and smell great. She drank half the res over the week but the pH and ppm stayed stable so I just left it. July 25 I took the duct tape off one of the stems that broke when my fan fell. It healed with a huge knuckle and looks great. One of the other big stems looks like it also has a big knuckle and is growing strong. Some of the smaller ones look like they've regained their integrity but didn't get a knuckle. They are all able to stand up straight now and the plant looks much happier. I'm leaving one wire support in place because of one of the thinner stems. July 27 I just noticed the upper leaves are a bit brittle. I should take it down and observe it more often I turned the fan to point away from the plant and the leaves recovered.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Cada vez mas cerca del objetivo, van flying que te cagas! Jajajajajaja están creciendo muuy bien, se expanden muuuy bien y los abonos se controlan. Hubo una ligera sobrefertilización al hacer el trasplante pero ya lo solucione, la planta mas afectada de las 4 fue la "Critical" normal, pero a esa le meti 10L de riego con flush para arrastrar todas las sales y demás. A las otras 3 les hice lo mismo pero con 5L. Ahora que ya están casi secas, han tardado 3 dias en secarse mas hoy el dia entero 4, están maravillosas, todas con sus hojas fuuuertes y mirando al techo, la critical es un poco la que aun le queda un poquito, pero con el proximo riego yo creo que ya se recupera. Luego, voy a ver si en breve planto alguna auto y la meto al indoor unas 2 o 3 semanas y me la saco al exterior... Ya veré sinceramente que en mi exterior tengo ciertos problemas dificiles de controlar, entre otros, vecinos que no saben lo que significa la palabra intimidad 😅. Aaahh lo olvidaba!! Se ven hojas manchadas, eso es porque les metí ayer una limpieza guapa guapa foliar por delante y por detras a todas las plantas con un producto de estos tipicos de jabón potasico + aceite de neem, ya junto, en plan los 2 en 1. De entre las cosas que he ido aprendiendo con los cultivos, es que es muy importante hacer estas aplicaciones y ya no estas a modo preventivas, sino agua sola ayuda mucho, especialmente pulverizarla lo mas fuerte posible A LOS TALLOS, a la totalidad de los tallos/ramas de las plantas. Es verdad que los bichos suelen irse a las hojas a comer peeeeeeeeeero en mi experiencia, su base las hacen en los tallos y ramas, si, en la parte mas cercana a las hojas, peeero en las ramas! Por lo que minimo una vez a la semana procuro pegarle una buena pasada como si de una Karcher se tratara y si que el armario es nuevo y procuro tener cuidado, pero de momento todo bien respecto a plagas.

Will need to teat them and kill em all off if possible. The thrips are also outdoors on some of my plants, I feel they came from the bagged promix I got or they overwintered and travelled indoors. Light was a bit to strong at 100% when i grew taller, turned it down to 80%ish now till it starts to blooms. currently at 45cm hang height, Tent is having some issues with cooling down, even running the extractor is not doing much, so I prop the door open at the top and it helps vent it out. Maybe because of the vents the air is not circulating though and just travelling up one side of the tent, IDK. its a waste to run it past setting 5 on a 2x2 so the door will stay propped indefinitely. Still no smells unless I'm rubbing them, no signs of flower just yet, temped to top or LST but I think I'm going to let them go as is and get a good gauge on how they grow and yield. 👽We are continuing. I will not rush to transfer to flowering, I want to try to make the maximum circle (if there is enough space in the box). 💪🏻 I continue to give power root, pure zym, sugar royal. I will water more often, every 2 days. 🦈I will give Fish force 1 times a week. 😤Oops, we had a pickle on the 38th day. I neglected to constantly measure the PPM level, and he gave me 1100.
