01 Jul 2021 The harvest for my first plant is all done and documented! Yea!! My Blueberry Muffin looks fabulous. Her buds are starting to get frosty and grow, grow, grow! She looks great, and she’s still doing a little bit of a stretch, but it’s slowing down some. She’s still way bigger than her tent mate (Blue Ox), but still way smaller than my first plant. I have a feeling that if she doesn’t produce a lot, it will be my fault since I haven’t been giving her as much care as she really needs. I’m going out of town for the holiday weekend, so maybe they’re used to going without long enough that there won’t be any issue. I’ll keep my fingers crossed 🤞just in case. In feeding, I’m sticking with the Mid-Bloom stage for at least another week, then maybe I’ll adjust them some. Today I gave CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom 15ml mixed into a gallon of water chilled to 42.2F. The initial pH was 6.6 and didn’t require adjustment. The TDS going in was 842 ppm. Runoff pH was 6.1 (better than the last time), and TDS runoff was 2548 ppm. We’ve been having a heat wave here, so the temp is creeping up in the grow tent. Today it was 86F, and the humidity was 48%. 03 Jul 2021 My Lady is looking lovely today! I can see by looking at her HST branches that she’s still into the stretch just a little bit because they have increased in height since the other day when I first made a mental note of how they were lying on the top of my support net. Today they are resting about 2 inches above it. Now that growth has been since I put her in the big tent with the net of course, so that was on the 30th just a few short days ago. Some of her leaves are showing some issues, but just on the side with the rotating fan. I’m wondering if it could be drying them out some, and not a deficiency because there are no other issues anywhere on the plant. The same goes for her tent mate, so by rule of deduction it has to be the fan. Maybe I’ll lower the power a bit when I get back? I’m going to be gone for a few days and I don’t want them to get too hot in case the heat wave doesn’t let up. I received one of the new nutrient supplements I ordered and started using it today with the nutrients already in use. Today I fed a gallon of water from the tap. Due to time constraints I didn’t chill it. I fed CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, FloraBloom 15ml, and started Floralicious Plus 1ml. The initial pH was 6.3 and was not adjusted. The TDS going in was 1242 ppm. The runoff pH was 5.9, and TDS runoff was 2777 ppm. The tent temperature was 79F, and humidity was 53%. Hopefully the Liquid Kool Bloom will have arrived by the time I get back!

The week started with heavy storms and big rainfalls... the girls are back in the tent 😊 I took out my 60x60x160 tent, a Samsung 85w bulb LED and transferred my Garpsen bars (70w together) from my big tent. It's a bit light as lighting, but looking at the trichos end of the week (and the intense smell in the tent...) I think it's time to start flushing. They got a final half dose of nutrients at the beginning of the week and a very lil haircut, I'll flush them by tomorrow. Can't wait to see what they produce; I'd say between 35 and 45 together, hoping for a better surprise 🙏

03/02/2025 (Day 22) Satisfied with overall growth. Tray watered with new feeding schedule from week 4: 1.8ml Calmag + 1.8ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 + 2ml wood vinegar to 1L RO water, phed to 5.8. 04/02/2025 (Day 23) Did LST on DSD-2 and DSD-3. I am going to leave DSD-1 as it is. 05/02/2025 (Day 24) Watered tray with : 1.8ml Calmag + 1.8ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 + 2ml wood vinegar to 1L RO water, phed to 5.8. 06/02/2025 (Day 25) Did some more defoliation on DSD-2 and DSD-3. Applied foliar spray - 3ml wood + 2ml seaweed extract. 07/02/2025 (Day 26) Removed big fan leaves from the top of DSD-1 to promote more growth on lower branches 08/02/2025 (Day 27) Noticed substrate was still moist so skipped watering. 09/02/2025 (Day 28) Prepared compost tea: 1 cup worm casting, 2ml seaweed extract, 2 tbl spoon molasses + 5L RO water, aerated with oxygen bubbler overnight.

They liked the flush. 🚽 Nothing crazy this week just topped off the buckets,added nutrients,& adjusted the ph.🤷‍♂️🏽 New growth is healthy looking. 🌿

2 weeks later and Girl crush is throwing out 12's... I will have to top her soon. I took her 1st two liters to prop clones but they failed repeatedly. She isnt a big stretcher and I'm not limited by vertical space at all so I'm not worried [even though my auto's are at the very least 30 and 45 days away from full maturity respectivly.] The ogreberry is somehow even easier to train than the whiskey zulu at this stage. The canopy is much more even and we'll just have to see if that remains true. This ogreberry smells fucking wild. The other two plants smell good and unique but the Ogreberry smells like fruit loops, lemon and the strongest note I smell every single time I test it, I can only describe as the "new" smell a baby gives off. I dont know if that's from the sweet cream of baby formula or what because I don't have a much experience with babies, but this is a very baby-like smell. It's shockingly absurd that this plant smells like an infant. This "new" quality reminds me of northern lights.

Enjoyable week 3 has passed. Growth speed picked up noticeably and I did practically nothing besides adjusting the lamp distance and transplanting into the final 7L fabric pot. Added mycorrhizae at transplant and gave her 200 ml of water. PPFD now sits at roughly 500.

Noch keine seed Ansätze zu sehen und wir hoffen mal das es so bleibt. Still no Bananas or seeds to see, still hoping that all turns out good

June 8th & June 16th Update @gbaGrow What’s good sensei? The girls are growing nice and healthy. Looks to me like the spider mite problem is no longer. Still haven’t used any nutrients because the soil is still going strong. Today I topped all of them and left anywhere from 3-5 node pairings on each plant. I poked some drainage holes in the bottom of each solo cup a couple of weeks ago and quite a few of them are already growing roots through the bottom 😬😬 The cancer blaster and the purp fem seeds you gave me are coming in nice and full. They look promising my dude. One of the “signature seeds” (your strain) has a crazy morphology to it.... 2 main kolas without any topping. I’ve only seen that once before and it ended up being a male but who knows with this one 🤞🤞 All in all, we’re in good shape so far over here Photos and pics on the way....

DAY 30, LESSON LEARNED It's been a tough few days for the ladies. But, what doesnt kill u makes u stronger😁💪🏾. After my last post the plants started to show some nutrient burn. I believe that happend because after my last defoliation post I gave the plants the same amount of water and nutrients as before. But ofcourse the plants were much smaller after the defoliation, so what I should have done was reduce the amount of water and nutrients. So these last days it was just watching the plants and keeping a close eye on em.

Hello once again and I hope y’all had a good week! Down in the purple tent this week was strange, it was the first time sense week 3 these lady’s didn’t have an extreme explosive growth and honestly I’m okay with that lol. The bud sites however have started to plump up as expected and I’m hoping they continue too at this rate. Finally ran into a detrimental issue that kinda upset me but was glad I caught early. I started to notice some rust spots on a couple leafs of one plant witch prompted me to take a closer look, PH was spot on and runoff was coming out at 1200(a little higher than it should) so I turned the lights off and inspected with my CMH. Almost all the lower leafs were to dark green for my liking and the newest growth on a few were bright green. This all together led me to believe it was the beginning of nute lockout so I flushed em hard with a 600ppm wash then 400 a couple days later. This brought it down to the 650 mark witch they seem to have responded really well too go going to tone it down with the food a bit until they tell me otherwise. Also this was the final week for my Big Bud so this week I’ll be hitting up that overdrive. All in all I’m loving these ladies it woulda been nicer if the plants were more similar not crazily different phenos but it’s to be expected with autos so happy growing everyone and lookin forward to touching base next week!!!!!!

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Purple Punch am 26.12.2024 Tag 28 / 25.01.2025 Die Purple Punch habe ich ein Topping und LST unterzogen, sie hat sich sehr schnell erholt von Topping; eigentlich habe ich keine negative Reaktion bemerkt, das einzige ist wenn ich mit Biobizz dünge, macht die Pflanze einen gewaltigen Wachstumsschub. Feedback: Ich habe unterhalb zwei Blätter entfernt, mit dem Entlaubung bin ich sehr vorsichtig. Die Pflanze werde ich gut wachsen lassen, und die große Blätter nach und nach entfernen. Ich könnte mehr Blätter entfernt, aber in der Vergangenheit habe ich Fehler gemacht. Ich habe festgestellt das die Pflanzen in Light Mix besser wachsen, einmal Gisse ich die Pflanzen mit Dünger von BioBizz und einmal ohne Dünger. Soweit ich das sehe ist eine Überdüngung ausgeschlossen, gerne nehme ich Ratschläge aus der Community an. Feedback am 29. Januar 2025 Die Entlaubung von Purple Punch war für meiner Sicht erfolgreich, die Vorgehensweise nach und nach die Entlaubung durchzuführen hat die Pflanze nicht gestresst.

Week 30 – Flowering Week 7 (Harvest) This week marks the end of the Pineapple Upside Down flowering cycle. The plant was flushed for a full week leading up to harvest. During this final phase, light intensity was deliberately reduced to help preserve trichomes and maintain the terpene profile as much as possible. A clear color change was observed compared to the previous week, confirming the plant was reaching full maturity. Trichomes were inspected closely and showed a dominant cloudy appearance, with a balanced presence of amber and very few remaining clear trichomes. Harvest has now been completed. The plant is entering the drying phase, which is planned to run at approximately 16–17°C. Drying time is expected to be at least 15 days, possibly extending to three weeks depending on conditions. Aroma at harvest is very pronounced, with strong pineapple and exotic fruit notes. Yield is not expected to be exceptional, with a large proportion of small buds, but all material will be used. Lower-grade buds and trim will likely be processed rather than discarded. This run came with its share of challenges and difficulties, but it provided valuable lessons. The focus going forward is to refine the process, improve consistency, and aim for a repeatable quality standard. The next update will take place after drying, trimming, and weighing, with a full harvest review. See you in a couple of weeks. Take care.
