D50 - The start of week three of flower and all is well. There isn't much to do at this point since the training is mostly done, and the watering is automated. D54 - The girls were home alone while I was gone on a trip. I'm sure they didn't miss me as everything was running automatically, but the differences between the two girls were more noticeable upon my return. The first is taller and more stretchy, with smaller, less developed buds, while the second is squatter, with much longer, fatter buds. I suspect that the second girl will finish sooner, but we'll see with time. The first girl stretched in my absence, and the canopy is now somewhat slanted, but I will try to even it out tomorrow. D56 - The last day of week three of flower. I was able to even out the canopy a bit, although there is still a bit of slant. There is only so much you can do when you're in a confined space.

In week 7 the 12 plants have filled out the space inside the HOMEBOX grow-tent very nicely and therefore its time to switch to flowering. I change the timer, which I put infront of the supply of my SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs, to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. This will induce the flowering of my babies and they can start to develop buds. The BIO NOVA nutrients work very well, which can be seen in the nice healthy green color of the plants. I follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart from the BIO NOVA website, but use only half the recommended dose, because my tap-water already has a very high EC-value of 0,8 when it comes out of the faucet. Since I have used REGULAR seeds for THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT, I have to check for males on a regular basis. Two plants show clear male pollen-sacks already now (see above in video) and have to be culled right away. I cut the plants off at the main stem right above the soil and take away the plants and throw them into the trash right away. This way I make sure NO pollen can mature inside the male pollen-sacks and be released later and inseminate my babies on accident. In the places of the male PURPS plants, I put a MAC and KK-plant into the AUTOPOT-system, so all 12 placed are filled again. Now its time to wait until the first flowers start to appear. 👍😎

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Week 4 of the flowering phase has arrived, and last week flew by 🌬️🌱. The ladies are thriving, and the buds are now clearly visible! ✨ The flowers are starting to turn darker, which is an exciting sign 🍒. The first trichomes are already forming, hinting at a very potent strain 💎🔥. While the cherry aroma hasn’t come through yet, removing some leaves revealed an intense, waxy scent – very intriguing! 🌿👃 I’ll keep you updated with daily posts. ¿Cómo se encuentran esta semana? Por aquí por mi zona no para de llover, y la verdad que me beneficia, ya que así reduzco la potencia del humidificador, y aprovecho la humedad del ambiente. Que la seguimos manteniendo en 70% HR. Bueno lo mas destacable: El primer día de la semana le apliqué una poda apical a la mayoría, y una poca FIM a dos de ellas (1 Zkit Kandy y 1 Super OG Kush) Lo que se hace cuando aplicas la poda apical, es corta el ápice principal de la planta, por lo que, los demás brotes, lucharán por el poder de ser el ápice principal, resultando unas cuentas cabezas principales, y ensanchamiento de la planta. Y en la poda FIM, se corta un 70% aproximadamente, del ápice principal, la planta, actuará de manera parecida a la poda apical, pero no pierdes el verdadero ápice principal. Les fue muy bien esta poda, en mitad de semana, ya se ven los brotes más estirados, comenzó la carrera! Y a finales de semana, no se si en ese momento era buena idea o no, pero lo hice, les corté todas las hojas de abanico de la planta😵 con el objetivo, de eliminar las sombras de éstas, dadas sus dimensiones, abarcaban mucho territorio. Resultó ser bueno, al siguiente día se puede apreciar en el video, la estructura que están formado mis pequeñas💪 Muchas gracias, si te has molestado en leer mi pequeño diario de cultivo! Wow this week has been a super bulking week. Buds are huge and dense when you squeeze between thumb and forefinger there’s no give at all. Very sticky lives up to the GG name. Smell is very strong earthy and almost a diesel undertone.

Llegando a las últimas semanas de floración, abundante cogollo central, tornándose cada vez más marrones los pistilos, se comienzan a notar en menor medida los terpenos en la planta.

err. she keeps short but buds are alredy visible, i mean the start. no big problems, all nutrients are in ger section, if not other mentioned by manufactors instrucktions.

They grow so fast wow. The smell is incredible.. Exactly like skittles!!

5/11 - 5/17: I topped a couple shoots early in the week and have her in full LST submission..sprawling nicely.👌 I watered her once really well at the start of the week with endoboost, humic acid, silica, cal-mag, molasses, and big bloom...and a little bit of grow big. I foliar fed with boom boom spray one day, and a solution of fulvic acid, cal-mag, big bloom, sweet & sticky, and silica a few days. It rained really heavy on the night of the 15th, so I won't be watering again anytime soon. I topped another of her shoots on the 14th and about an hour later, I realized that I should have taken it as a cutting..I'll have enough soil for a few plants in 3 gallon pots, and from what everybody says, I'd be very happy with some more jars of #5. I spent all 3 seeds to grow this one plant, so I'll try rooting some clones of her soon...👈 This week I received my new portable outdoor misting fan and hoses and got it set up on a timer with just airflow while the lights are on, and once the temps reach about 95f regularly, I'll have my hose timer let 10 minutes of water every 2 hours get misted across the canopy. It should lower the "real feel" by about 25-30 degrees and increase RH considerably. Also hoping that the constant airflow will make them stronger and keep insects off of them somewhat. It will also enable me to easily give them a blow dry if it rains in late flower. But wait...that's not all....it's also gonna be very much more enjoyable for me to sit in the garden and do my thang. 👍

Plants started getting real bushy a couple of days after topping. Low Stress Trained all the plants at the end of the week by tying them down using rubber coated garden wire to spread out the newly grown tops. Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.
