Day 85: First Grow We’re entering a new week, and it’s exciting to see the progress in our first grow. The plants are thriving, and the buds continue to get thicker and frostier. The formation of orange hairs is becoming more pronounced, indicating that we're on the right track. This week, we’ve decided to order a microscope to monitor trichome development more closely. Additionally, we're considering adding CANNAZYM to our feeding regimen to support bud growth and overall plant health. Let’s keep pushing forward and make this a successful grow!

Started last 2 days to add a little of Fish Mix (1/2 or the recommendation in the BioBizz Feeding Schedule), I plan to stop with the Root Juice from now on and only continue with Fish Mix and Bio Heaven for the time being. The 2 bottom leaves, they are showing some signs/spots on the leaves (Last Two Pictures). All the others (and newer ones) looks healthy and no sign of these spots. I think it was just light burn on the wet leaves (keeping an eye on it anyway) Using Photone APP, the PPFD is around 250-300 now. It was around 150-200 in the previous weeks. Additional Information: I'm Using Airpots. 2 Static Fans 1 150mm Exhaust Fan Water PH is around 7, but being organic nutrients I shouldn't be so worried. Update on Seed #2: Never grew (break the surface), so I'm giving up on it (its still in the tent, but zero hopes). So this is just a 1 plant Diary from now on.

12 weeks / 84 days old today. So my first grow journey is coming to an end! Not a lot to report this week. Been using my jewellers loupe daily to keep an eye on the trichomes and can definitely see a big difference. (Sorry, pictures are crap - don’t have enough hands to get a good one!) Still watering with plain water but they’re taking a lot less and only been watered every 4 days or so. Sticky orange has lots of cloudy trichomes and starting to get a few Amber. Her leaves are drying off so she is getting harvested before the weekend. Purple skunk is a bit behind so I think I will wait and see how she goes for another week or so. I always thought she’d be the one to finish first too. I think I will be drying in the garage. We are consistently getting 18 degrees outside now but with the temperature drops at night, I am not sure whether to bring the buds inside overnight. I’ll be drying in a hanging ‘herb’ dryer and I have my curing jars all labelled and ready to go. Thinking of wet trimming roughly then going in for a final dry trim later once dry to neaten them up. Drying advice welcome! I did think I’d have to harvest in stages and chop the lower buds later on. But even the bottom buds look like they’ve caught up this week. I have honestly enjoyed every second of this grow and I’m almost disappointed it’s nearly finished. But at the same time, I can not wait to see (and taste) the final result!

Opium week 16 7/22-28 This week has been rainy so the outside girls only got watered and fed once. with all the rain we've had, all the girls grew a bit. I top dressed all girls with Bloomin Soil from Elm Dirt. Photo Opium is now 75 inches and stacking nicely. Happy girl means happy mom.

MAY 17th I'll water the 10th planet again tomorrow. Things are going amazing! I topped one of the blueberry cheeses and fimmed another. I'm not seeing any stress. If they seem good I'll hst some of the others. This doing ONE thing at a time helps figure out problems. It's 75 right now but it was 39 this morning. UPDATE: IT STARTED FUCKING SNOWING TODAY. Forecast looks good and others are putting plants out. I'll hold off. They'll go to the garage soon for hardening off. Looking at other diaries I had much bigger "clones" but they always come full of problems (see last year). These plants are the healthiest ivecever grown. I'd rather have a healthy plant half the size than a clone with a bunch of issues. Tomorrow I'm planning to wash my stakes and grow bags. I'll get the palletts in position and move my cage. I also am considering either putting a small pvc cover on my cage or finding a way to attack something to the trellis system for heavy rains. If anybody has ideas I'm all ears. 5/18 DIDN'T WATER TODAY. Soil was dry but the pots were heavy. I could feel some moisture through the drain holes. I think it would've been alright either way but I'm erring on the side of caution. I'll check again later in the day. I topped one and fimmed anotger of the blueberry cheese. The purple punch is quickly catching g up to her sisters. I HAD to add a small ring around one of the purple pounce plants as it was WAAAAY lighter than the others. It's possible it could've gotten less water than the others last time due to its positioning. I'm also considering adding silica next feeding. So much left to do before they go outside. Oh and it was fucking snowing here yesterday! May 17 and it was snowing middle of the day. Morning temp wad 31 this morning so I'm staying cautious and making sure I have all my ducks I'm a row before I go outside. I'm also weighing options to either add a pvc hoop on top of my cage or look into protecting plants individually come late fall with our horrible weather. I'm leaning towards the pvc top. I think that would greatly help things. UPDATE: Went back over at four and everything's looked great. Leaves praying to the sun. Topsoil is dry as fuck but I can still feel a little bit of moisture through the drain holes plus they have a little heft left to them. I plan on watering tomorrow and see how that goes. I wanted to add silica but I'm afraid of changing to much or raising the ph of the soil. 5/19 Found out that my scale will actually weigh the three gallon pots! I don't have an empty one to fill with dry soil to compare though. WATERED everything today. Topsoil was totally dry. Some plants had some heft to them. However I last watered on the 15th so I decided to cut back on the amount of water and see how that goes. Instead of the full 28oz powerade bottle I gave them a little over half. I tried for approx 16fl Oz per plant. Everything is looking great. Other than the little runt. I don't know whatcthecdeal is with that one bit it may get given away or culled. I also FIMed a purple punch. UPDATE: Went back over around 11 and boy weren't the plants looking good. I'm moving my cage and sanitizing my pallets tomorrow. I sanitized my grow bags. I vleaned them with the baking soda and water and a scrub brush but since I had that problem with fusarium last year I then soaked them in a h2o2 solution for 20 mins before rinsing them off and letting them dry. I am so stoked for this season. Wondering about the pvc top and whether it's necessary 🤔. I have TONS of heavy equipment (well dad does) but the smallest thing we have is a backhoe and a bulldozer neither which I'm to inclined to use to move big plants. I thought that since the door to that garage is large enough to drive a front end loader in than if I could find a way to make my pallets mobile I could bring them in if storms are coming. I worry to much. I also got rid of anything that could gave spires on it. Ilk need to wash my plastic trellis netting and the bamboo as well but better safe than sorry. 5/20 Plants are still growing like weeds and are the ones I HST are recovering nicely. Soon they'll go out to the garage and spend their days outside in the sunshine and their nights inside the garage while I harden them off. Having trouble uploading stuff right now. 5/21 Topped two blueberry cheese and one purple punch. Plants are still doing great. We are getting close to go8ng outside in tye forever homes in smart pots ranging from 10gal to 50 gals. I still need to sanitize the pallets but this week I plan on hardening these girls off fully. 5/22 I weighed a couple of the plants and they were different. I think I got a couple 7lbs one that was 6 something and a heavier one that was 8. Looks like I've found the right amount. I plan to water tomorrow. They'll be moved in the next couple days to the garage and I'll let them fill the 3's before they go in their final homes. Plants are recovering from HST great. Still getting cold nights here. Honestly if I didn't have a major life event happen they'd be outside hardening off now 5/23 Watered everything with approximately 18oz of water. I am either going to move plants outside today to indirect sun (even though they've handled full sunlight from an open window) in the garage and keep the light going for a little longer. They need to fill their pots before they go in their forever homes. I've got some work to do but it will pay off. EDIT: Cage has been moved to its new home. A huge pallet takes up most of it but I have littler ones that will fit in. I just haven't had a chance to disinfect these. I'm probably going overboard but I'm not fucking around with that fusarium or other any pathogens this year. I'm going to use the systemic organocide once I go outside. It's going to rain tomorrow amd might be cold but I still move the plants to the garage in the morning.

Another disaster on day 2 of the week :pp previous one avoided as the repair held tho, but a huge storm roughened her up this time :( it snapped one of the upper branch, I was also able to repair it so let’s see. However, her soil was really dry and she was bending at more than 90 degrees, which probably broke a few if not all roots. I’m waiting to see how she evolves, she also lost a lot of stability since then. But at the end of the day she’s at the end of her flowering, around 20% ambers 80% cloudy and nearly no white pistils anymore. I still need to flush her so finger crossed Final week!! She’s ready, will harvest somewhere during next week. Added additional pictures & videos :)) not super visible on the picture but she actually shows some purple trichromes! Look a bit maroon-ish on the video but I confirmed it’s not mold with a lens. I think we’re around 30% amber 70% cloudy now, probably will harvest it all at once.

Well hello there 👋 thanks for stopping by and joining this journey of my White Widow grow! 💯 So to begin the week I was thinking....should I screw with this lovely girl or shouldn't I....?!?!?! Weeelllllllllll..... I just could not resist and dove right in lmao!!! Now in the new pictures for the week I really hope I've done my research and try and look for documentation about "LEAF LINING" and I am pretty sure there has been no terminology about it so I'm sure there will be critics and I look forward to your knowledge towards this training method for similarities....💯 MOVING ON 🤦‍♂️ Alright here we go.... so the beginning of the week I measured her at 8inchs. She grew a good 2.5 inches in 5 days so I had to top this girl because of height issues in the tent. I ultimately feel this was the absolute best thing for my height and the plant! 💯 and I 100% do not want to kick her early!!!! Now she's grown an 1inch since topping her 2 days ago and the prizes inside are flourishing and are growing like wild fire 🔥 🔥🔥 What until you see them 🤯 So what I have done to the inside this week is what I like to call "LEAF LINING" I basically pin the shoots created by the fan leaves to the actual fan leaf itself!!!! I know right 🤯 This has proven to be very effective which you can see the length of the shoots themselves. (some are 3.5inchs long) The stock of the fan leaves provide a straight path for growth outward! Its truly fascinating! (PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HAS TERMINOLOGY OR NOT) Ok so I have introduced a new idea to the grow! Adding a Ring of 4 rows of wire that are attached in a circle to the top of the self-wick pot. I have fastened it using Zip ties as I did for the "LEAF LINING" 👈🤪 This was introduced for when those shoots grow out with the fan leaves as the fan leaf can no longer be of support at some point. Cant wait for that to happen. This is going be a wild ride growmies and growmettes!!!! Week6 today an not impressed but there’s still time, slightly over fed but pushed back on EC to 1.7 run off 1.8 Ph 5.8 run off 6 VPD close to in range just waiting for the new dehumidifier to turn up today. There a little behind but I’m guessing they will catch up 3 weeks to go. Smelling strong really strong for the stage there at. I do see the benefits to day 21 heavy fan leave strip. But never done it at day 42. What’s people’s thoughts around day 42 fan leave strip? I know there’s a lot of nitrogen stored in them fan leaves as I pushed the EC. Now I’m thinking to strip for better penetration and lower the stored nitrogen to help the finish better.. Hit me up with advice around day 42 strip Cheers ok

They're really starting to bush out, I think I'm liking the topping of all tops on the whole plant 1 time. Makes it easy to train as well. We'll see how they compare in harvest amount to my LST long veg plants.

D108: After the stress we experienced, we managed to recover with a yield of 60-70%. We will start monitoring trichomes in the 8th week. Continuing with two waterings, one with fertilizer and one with calcium, we proceed.

The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!! Hi guys, I just let them go, free growing taking care and adapting temperature the best I can. Nutrients I had a bit more and just the minimum dosage of Cal-Mag. I AM happy and they look too.
