The only strain for the red flower from sweetseeds we have grow until know, but after these I will grow sure more of it. Also love to grow the Darkdevilauto because of she's colors, my didn't became so dark but more Violet and green i really love it!!000

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. At the end of week 3 I topped one of the strawberry cough they are all looking good and starting to veg I’m all caught up with the grow diary’s and will add at the end of every week. I’m in Australia and did start a little late into the season but hope to get a decent grow in they will be at my brothers once transplanted and he has a few aswel that I will add into the grow log nothing but sun and water only use a little thrive that’s from Bunnings that I get from my pops shed. They will be in a nicer cleaner soil when transplanted into veggie beds and will have chicken poo as a nutrient source first time ever using chicken poo so see how it goes. Will keep the grow log updated and hopefully everything goes all well for the travel and transplant for the plants in the next few days

All plants are topped at the 3rd node, the 2 sides shoots will become the main branches. Adding the Enzymes to the menu. I will transplant during the next week , I can see the roots coming out the drains holes at the bottom of the pots, meaning it’s the right time to give them more space to keep the growth rate and to avoid any root bounds that will stunt the plants ! Switching to a 600w HID MH extra-Blue to give more light coverage and more space to grow. ( I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞 )

Finally some decent growth!! 19cm this week and she got a lot bushier. Not in flowering yet but that's ok, she needs to grow more ideally. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Lights are still at 25% power Day 17 Leaves are getting darker. Everything is looking good. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.718 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 813 Tank Temp 74.5 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites again.

Been a busy week getting the new setup going. She has been going really well , first week of flower , interested to see how she goes. She is a nice little plant problem free so far.

Oct 5-11 Vegetative steering? Aiming for: leaf Temp -80f CO2 -1250ppm VPD +1.04 (65%/75F) Vegetative Steering 6P1/ 2P2/1P3 Each P1 water event is 15 minutes apart. Seems to far apart. I think i Need More water events, with less time in between events in order to get a strong veg signal? Watering for 2min(110)ml May need 3min waterings(currently not getting runoff) I have to hand water every two days. Day 11 flo 18.5inches tall 12inches from light(moved to 16) 1300ppm Day 18 Defol Sprout chickpea(2days) Soaked 1cup for 4 hours then rinsed. Completely covered then Soaked overnight. Rinsed then poured water out and layed jar on the side for one day. Blended with water(aloe vera and coconut) Day 19&20 foilarspray Alfalfa/Chickpea SST with Kelp,aloe,coconut,silicate,microbes brewed for 1.5 days Day 21 Fed the Tea blend Leaf temp 80 65kluxx Co2 100 Plants look like they responded well to the foilar. The flowers at this stage are my best performance yet .crop steering may be working?

Day 64 - Starting the 10th week today and she’s just chugging along. Getting fatter and filling in more everyday. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and thinking about giving her a good flush at the end of the week and just water her till the end. Day 65 - Man oh man I’m looking forward to chopping this girl. She just gets fatter everyday. Debating on starting to flush this week so she’ll get a good two weeks to use everything up. Seeing some of the pistils starting to get a neon orange so I’m starting to think the end of week 11 will be it for this girl. Pretty much all milky trichs with a couple amber in there and no clear. She’s coming to the end of the line. Day 66 - Gave her a full gallon of pH’d water today and counting down to harvest day. I lowered the lights to about 8-10” because the heads on the buds really seem to be stretching and not looking normal. Don’t know if the lowering of lights will help, she’s “foxtailing” a bit it this is just normal for this strain. Hopefully lowering the lights will help. Day 67 - Decided, after some research and advise from here, to raise the lights instead of lowering because that would make the foxtailing worse. Will most likely chop her in about 10ish days, so going to start flushing tomorrow. Despite the foxtailing, the buds are still FAT and heavy! Day 68 - Seems like raising the lights kind of helped with the foxtailing a bit but we’ll see what happens her last week and a half or so. Flushed her with 2 gallons of pH’d water and some of foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Will give her straight water from now until chopping day. Hopefully she fills in a bit more but either way, she’s definitely fat and happy for the most part. Day 70 - End of week 10 today and will most likely chop next weekend. Letting her dry out still and thinking about no more water till chop but we’ll see how she looks throughout the week.

Day 40 : Watering today community after 3 days. They were too thirsty and drank 2.5L per plant. I added a lot of food to the water. But it finished with 800ppm only. I think Biobizz decreased the density of nutrients. I added 1 co2 tab / 5L as every time. Also made small defoliation to the bottom for all ladies. She have reached 63cm.

Trichomes are covering the surface of the plants now. The smell is citrus and gas. I might take one or two plants down early to see how different the high is and how different the taste is. The smell really changes from week 6-9. Still feeding full strength with 20% run off.
