Howdy growfessors! Welcome to week 7F in the 4x8 theatre. The ladies are hungry, I've been increasing their feeding and they still want more! Defoliation performed, removed a lot of small dead or dying leaves from the lower branches. Not much else to say, thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Day 1: Auto flowers are getting some nice crystal. Purple Kush smells nice, Pink Kush smells like wet veg. The root mass on Purple Kush is huge! The photos were defoliated, and finally both showing flowers. pH is 6 Day 3:. Finally got to LST Red Purps, she really needed it. I pulled some of the Purple Maroc branches and tried defoliating, but it's thick in there. The previous LST still has a lot of branches bent, but a lot of new growth has popped up. I wonder if it's because I broke the main collar last week. I have to find more weights to tie down the last few branches. Day 7: Purple Kush wreaks of grape bubble gum. Pink Kush wreaks of gas.

This week she has grown so tall. I am so regretful for not scrog’in her or done any low stress training. Although I do have a nice size tent with the grow light on adjustable rope so it’s not that much of a problem. Although when I flip her to 12/12 into flower I know she’s gonna stretch even more. The size of her leafs are impressive. I read that your not meant to use biobizz grow and fish mix at the same time but I went against it and she’s showing no signs of stress or nutrition problems. I even have an 11 fingered leaf now!! She is beginning to smell very nice too, so all good so far. Can’t wait till she packs on some bud now.

Finally installed an air stone for the blumat reservoir and hopefully that’ll help keep it last, started to get a slight smell after a few days. Otherwise the ladies are looking alright. Still having slight nutrient lockout but taken care of for the most part. Feeding approximately 25% recommended per feed schedule. All 3 are starting to show more CalMagic issues as they proceed into flower with 1 showing more than 2 which is showing more than 3 who was the last to finish stretching. 1st attempt at lollipoping on day 51 and feel like I could have done more. Another round of defoliation coming soon. Photos from Day 54 from sprout. Plant 1: Started off the strongest but also went into flower first so did not stretch much. Very dense canopy, going to need quite a bit more defoliation next time around. Pistil hairs already showing browning but no other signs of any potential light stress. Plant 2: shot up during the stretch because the LST clip fell off. Attempted to supercrop and I would say it was a success. Went a little hard but learned. Plant 3: went into flower last but was about to put in the most LST work. Almost tripled in size during the stretch and toom over as the largest in the tent.

Hello and welcome to week three for Enigma. Day 15: She is a bit sad today. I dropped her yesterday she took quite a jolt, and I think I overwatered her, so I upended her and waited until some drips came out, and then stuck a straw down to the bottom of the pot and blew air into the medium. She became a little less droopy within an hour of that, I am keeping an eye on her. It is going to be really hard to manage feeding her without over-watering her. I have certainly set myself a real challenge with this pot. Day 16: Enigma is hungry but over hydrated. The only thing I can think to try is making a special extra-strong nutes just for her. Day 18: Starting to find the balance of moisture. This is not easy at all. Day 19: Decent bit of growth today. Overall this lady is showing strong signs of being severely restricted by the pot size. No training at all intended, let's just see what happens. Day 20.5: She's perked up quite a bit since the photo. My extra strong nute regime seems to be paying off. She is maintaining a narrow form I am starting to wonder if roots act a bit like a cats whiskers? A cat's whiskers grow to the width of the cat's widest part... and they use them to know if they will fit through something. In observing these various cannabis plants, I am beginning to notice a correlation between plant width and pot width. This is bolstered by the evidence of transplanted plants rapidly stretching in width when introduced to a much wider pot. If my working theory has any basis in reality then an optimal pot would be short and fat rather than tall and narrow. I am probably going to test this theory with some clones. A second note of interest pertains to the quick shockingly rapid growth of both Misty and Nesia. These plants are even way ahead of where Citronella was, and I have been consistently delighted with Her Majesty. Is it simply starting them in bigger pots from seed? That has some impact I'm sure. Nevertheless I feel not enough impact to explain the massive difference. I think it's the nutes. Time for an admission, I have been being very lazy with the fertigation. I mix up 10l of nutes based on the stated dosages for the eldest plant (Karen)....and then I feed all of the plants with this even the ones that are much younger. So both Misty and Nesia got nutes for a plant in week 4 from seed and each week they increased. Could it be that the key to organic nutes in coco is to massively over-nute? Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Day 21: Weekly summary: some problems early this week but corrected and she's much happier today.

Week 13 from seed. Around week 8 flower in our 12/12 galaxy. 🙂 And now… everything is changing. The room feels different this week. The colors are shifting everywhere. Leaves are fading naturally across the canopy, hairs are turning deeper orange and copper tones, trichomes are getting thicker and cloudier by the day, and the plants are entering that final stage where the grower does less, observes more, and lets time do its work. The “almost no nutrients” strategy is still rolling beautifully. At this point we are basically running enzymes and patience. No heavy feeding. No panic corrections. Just letting the plants finish the way they want to finish. Less became more in this run. From the beginning, the goal was simple: minimal stress, minimal interference, and let the plants grow naturally into the lights under 12/12 from seed. No endless training sessions. No constant manipulation. Just a little leaf tucking here and there, careful observation, and letting the room guide itself. And honestly… these Skywalkers rewarded that trust. Heavy fruits everywhere. Dense flowers from top to bottom. Plants leaning under their own weight and asking for support from the yo-yos. Colors stacking on the pistils. Resin thickening every single day. One thing I’m especially happy with is the lower canopy development. The under-canopy lighting keeps helping the plants mature evenly from top to bottom, and the difference is very noticeable now. What could have become airy popcorn buds simply never had the chance. The lower flowers are dense, developed, and fully part of the harvest. What used to be “sea buds” became real flowers… or disappeared completely during cleanup. We also continue using the far-red strategy: 15 minutes after lights-off, while slowly increasing reds during lights-on as well. The idea is to help simulate the end of the season and encourage those natural finishing responses from the plants. Maybe terpene expression, maybe flavonoid response, maybe simply stress-signaling and seasonal behavior… but whatever is happening, the room is speaking loudly right now. And the yellowing leaves? At this stage, that’s not something scary here. That’s the plant redistributing energy, consuming reserves, and moving toward the end of its cycle. After 13 weeks together, this is part of the story. Now is not the time to rush. There’s no point harvesting early after all this patience. We’ve already come this far together. At this stage, the grow is less about “doing” and more about understanding when to simply wait. Calmly. Observing. Checking. Smelling. Watching the trichomes. Letting the plants tell us when they are truly ready. Next week? Expect more fading. More swollen flowers. More support needed. More aroma. More late-flower personality. But don’t expect panic harvesting just because the finish line is visible. We wait for the moment that feels right. What up Fam. These girls are growing amazing. Now that I can controll the temps a little better they've taken off with growth. Starting the flower period which we all no know what that means. The countdown is on. Over all Happy Growing.

What can I say fast buds have done it again with another amazing strain, she grew really fast, showed great response to lst. She has the most beautiful colours on her when in flower, she would’ve filled out abit more if I gave her another week or 2 but due to certain circumstances she had to be pulled, which is sure a shame but she’s still frosty as hell and stinks! Will certainly be doing this strain again outdoor and indoor! Will update smoke in another week or so. Happy growing! 🌱

Week 3 has come and gone. I think the stretch is now over. I got roughly 8” of growth on top of my net. Hopefully all 8” fills up with nice bud. I counted over 150 top bud sites. Goal is the get at least 14 grams per bud site. The frost production on this plant is out of control. Week three and you can already see trichomes producing on the fan leaves. I have been having to take off close to 50-70 leaves a week in order to keep proper airflow. She is so packed in the net I'm afraid of low airflow once they start getting fat. Only downfall so far is this plant develops loads of leaf. Hopefully that stops during the bulking phase. I keep bumping the nutrients up and she is taking every bit of it. Currently at 2.8ec. She was drinking tons during the stretch but has now gone back to normal amounts. I’m reverting back to every other day watering since last water I got nearly 50% run off. So far the smell is exactly like you open a bag of fruity pebbles. It’s not quite there when you open the tent but once you rub some bud it’s undoubtedly fruity pebbles smell. Hopefully we start seeing the mass put on in the next few weeks. 1/3 of the way done with flower already and she has been doing great.

Esta semana las chicas han mejorado un poco, se detuvo el amarillamiento, descubri que Cal-Max de Grotek interfiere en la composicion de la linea hesi por lo que las chicas sufren un bloqueo de nutrientes, dejé de utilizarlo y las chicas han continuado con su desarrollo relativamente normal. ya estan en su 5ta semana de floracion, Tutankhamon ha producido una cantidad gigantesca de resina, Lennon esta engordando a toda velocidad y aun le quedan 6 semanas aprox. Anubis a pesar de su color intenso amarillo palido esta engordando bastante bien y su produccion de resina es inimaginable y ya solo que quedan 2 semanas y media aprox. espero que a partir de ahora ya no surjan mas problemas y que las chicas terminen su floracion de la mejor manera. esto es todo por esta semana chicos, espero que se encuentren muy bien ! Week of admiring this girl is drinking water every 2 days without problems something big to take I need a lot more of that in my garden her resistance and incredible leaving in its natural form you only feed and observe because it makes great sprouts with incredible sugar, aroma sweet, previous weeks in veg the defoliation of everything that was underneath made something bigger in equal proportions, it really doesn’t need big lights to show its potential I believe that improving in each specific strain you know each one, being able to understand more and improve. Thanks for another week everyone, the trichomes are taking their best potential, I hope at any time to return with the harvest 😁

Starting to pick up a bit of bulk now. I'm reluctant to remove some of the fan leaves, because I maimed my first grow lol. So I'm using soft plant wire to hold the fan leaves aside. Allow as much light through to the new nodes

Regular water for a few days

Another week closer to the finish line and the Chicken N' Wafflez continued to mature beautifully. Temperatures remained stable at 24°C during lights on and 20°C at night with a steady 50% RH, creating a comfortable environment for late flower development. 🌱 The most noticeable change this week was the continued increase in resin production. The buds and sugar leaves became even more coated in trichomes, giving the plant a frosted appearance from top to bottom. ❄️ The fade also progressed significantly, with deep purple tones spreading across much of the foliage and adding a lot of visual appeal. 💜 Bud development continued as well, although the flowers seemed to stack more vertically than expand outward. While they did gain some additional mass, the most obvious change was their increased length and structure rather than overall width. The main cola especially continued to build upward and now stands out as an impressive spear-shaped top. 🔥 Feeding remained very simple this week with only water and CalMag. Water consumption stayed consistent, showing that the plant is still actively transpiring but has likely entered the final stages of maturation. 💧 The aroma profile is becoming more defined. Alongside the sweet jam-like notes, a subtle spicy character has emerged, backed by a light gassy undertone. The combination creates a rich and unique scent that becomes more noticeable every day. 🍯 Trichome development is progressing nicely, with the majority now appearing milky while a smaller portion remains clear. Harvest is getting closer, but there is still a little room left for the plant to finish ripening. ✨ Overall, Week 12 was defined by increased frost, stronger colors, continued bud stacking and steady maturation. The Chicken N' Wafflez is looking healthy, highly resinous and is shaping up to be a very attractive late-flower plant. 🌿
